The desert dunes seemed colder than usual. Night was upon the vast sands, turning their once golden hills pale silver. Two paws soundlessly shuffled in the sand. The wolfine creature knelt down and picked up the white skull with his large hand. He sighed and placed it back down, burying it with tiny grains of gold. "I'm sorry my brother."

A wave of sorrow flooded over him as he stood, seeing the rest of the dead bodies. "When did this happen Apohc?" He turned to the dragon that stood beside him.

I'm sorry, Xevori. We weren't told if it until yesterday, but the attack happened two weeks ago." Apohc took a step forward and placed a gently hand on the pharaoh's shoulder. "If only we had known sooner, we might have been able to spare some of them-give them another chance at life. But we…its too late now." He trailed off.

Xevori nodded and turned on his heel. He didn't want to think about the countless battles they had lost. He didn't want to think about his younger brother dead and his mother captured. He just wanted to sleep- that was the only escape he got from the nightmares of real life.

He moved a hand to the back of his neck and sighed. "It's not your fault, Apohc. Go home…get some sleep." He closed his eyes and looked down. "We'll figure this out in the morning."

He slipped into the darkness of the night, leaving Apohc to do as he wished. He just needed to think. Why did his older brother have to be such a cruel dictator? Why couldn't their two kingdoms just live in peace? So many questions swirled in his mind.

Story Plot

Xevori is a prince, but not one of this world. He lives in a magical place called Narvinia. He and his brother were the heirs to the seventh and sixth kingdoms. When he turned 25, his brother became king and started his rule over the sixth kingdom. But his position soon led to unhealthy obsessions such as power and riches. He rules with greed and foolishness. It's been seven years since he took his place as king. The Seventh kingdom's current lord (Xevori's father) has become ill and has left the duty as king to Xevori.

Two years ago Xevori's brother now known as Seertokai declared war on his father's kingdom. He does not wish to destroy it, but to add it to his own realm. Many strong and brave soldiers from both sides died in the war. All Xevori wasn't to do is prove to his brother that war is not the answer.

But just as his kingdom seems to need him the most, he suddenly vanishes.

Not many years from then, a young female draik was taken into a small village in Tyrannia after her family had been wiped out by man. She is the last of her kind and is trying with all her being to fit in-including forcing herself to learn the native's language. She understands most of it and can speak it well but writing it down is another story.

During her lessons she tries her best but usually ends up with some jibberish symbols on her paper. One day, to her surprise, her pet takes interest in the notes. She tries to shove the topic away but he insists. He starts trying to read it and finds that it was not jibberish, but a magical language that she had accidently written on her paper.

The prince who had disappeared from his own world flies out of the paper and into the pet's body. Elrond finds himself as a young human boy. At first the two don't know what to think about this. No one had ever cast a spell that powerful before and Elrond is quite shocked that he is watching another control his body.

After working out some disagreements Elrond, the young draikess, and Xevori set off to find a way to reverse the spell. Little does Xevori know, while he's gone his world changes for the worse. Will he ever be able to save his brother or kingdom?

I know this has a lot of misspellings and tense errors. I just wrote it up and didn't really read through it a second time. XD
