Dalmasca Guild FAQ

How do I stay active?
1. Post in the guild boards regularly.
2. Participate in activities
3. Notify a Dalmasca council member if you are expecting vacations, hiatuses, etc.

That is the basics of how to stay active in the guild. There are many other things you can do, such as refer members, but are not a requirements. We do monthly cleanouts of inactive members, so be sure to follow these guidelines!

How do I rank up?
It depends on how high you want to rank, and specifics are on the guild website.

Basically you must:
1. Post on the guild boards (more posts = higher rank)
2. Participate in activities (more activities = higher rank)
3. Refer members

Not only does this help you rank up, but you can also win awesome prizes!

How do I become a council member?
To become eligible, you must have the following:
1. Over 500 posts on the guild board
2. 7 activity credits
3. create/hold 1 original activity
4. 8 referral credits (there may be exceptions)

When there becomes more than 5 people eligible, Dalmasca might hold an election for a few members. Guild members will vote on which member they think has the most potential.

Over all, council members do a lot of work such as create web pages, hold auctions, and organize a lot of guild events. Therefore experience with HTML coding is recommended and helpful, but not required.

Remember that being a guild council member is not everything! You can still have fun and enjoy the same benefits that a council member would enjoy.

What is a guild bash?
Guild bashes are held every now and then on the guild message boards to celebrate in the guild. This may be to celebrate a certain number of members or posts in the guild.

During guild bashes, free items are given out to those that attend. There may also be a few special activities such as trivia that are held.

You can find out when guild bashes are by checking the calendar. Members also announce guild bashes on the guild boards or on the front page.
