The eyes.
They were the first thing that everybody noticed about Bee. The colour of warm, rich blood flowing in a cascade of life. As you gazed into these pits of darkness, every inch of you screamed to run, hide, to never come out, but at the same time your soul longed to bask in its crimson glory. To be forever tainted by the eyes of a heartless but magnificent demon. The blood-red eyes filled your brain with dark, calamitous thoughts that your mortal mind could never dream of. As your heart and soul screamed in terror and triumph, deep down you knew that this was the end. Death. As you fell into its wide, open arms, a whisper engulfed you in its booming silence. This final word glittered like a thousand stars as the rest of the world turned black.

Appearance: A large, thickly-scaled being the colour of the deepest plum on the old plum tree, with the occasional grey-black patch. His spikes are the colour of ebony and run down his back and neck, giving him a dangerous image. Bee's glistening white fangs glow almost as brightly as his unforgettable eyes, the colour of fresh blood. A tail swishes, long and deadly. This Skeith's entine body glows with the pure hatred which laces his tainted soul.

On Neopets

On Neopets, I'm known to all as nightopal. I spend a lot of time chatting and helping out at the Help Chat, but you will also find me drawing my pets and writing stories quite often. My goals used to stretch out far beyond my capabilities, but recently I've narrowed them down to 4 main things:
~Obtain 200 Avvies
~Get an article published in the Neopian Times
~Win a Beauty Contest trophy
~Be chosen to adopt Bee!

On the rare occasions that I'm not on Neopets, you'll probably discover me reading, writing, drawing by hand or practising karate. I'm an orange belt and I hope to get my black belt in the next few years. When I draw, I'm more likely to draw animal people, for example winged people or people with cat ears. I only ever write fiction, mostly fantasy. I only read fiction too. My favourite authors are Jamer Patterson, Jodi Picoult and L J Smith. Black and purple are my favourite colours and I'm obsessed with horror. Some people (my Dad) think that I'm turning into a Goth but I'm in total denial. I mean, I don't always wear black! Anyway, I'm also a major fan of Lady Gaga, the Black-Eyed Peas and Katy Perry. Music pretty much rules my mind off neopets. It's really entertaining to just block out my maths teacher's drone by listening to Bad Romance...

The first pet in my neo-family. An extremely kind Neopian whose debt I still remain in gave me Securi as a very generous gift. I nickname her Cure. She is a gothic bird who spends her nights flying through the air, a mere sequin sewed upon the ebon satin of the sky. During the day, she draws on the walls of her bedroom. Only flowers. The walls of her bedroom are like beautiful gardens of roses, dahlias, violets, irises and foxgloves. Securi is very protective of her cousin, Bee. When Securi was captured weeks after Halossa was also kidnapped, she was extremely frightened and lonely. Halossa stood by her and became her friend. Securi was also taken while she searched for her petpet. However, she has been re-united with Kim, the shapeshifting petpet. The arrival of her petpet has sparked hope inside Securi's soul. Will her Oynx clan return to rescue her?


Halossa


A shy lonely Brown Cybunny who spends her days sitting at a table in the Opal Tower kitchen dreaming of her lost petpet, Aloe. Halossa, or Halo, is extremely girly and alway wears sweet femenine colours. Her eyes are as blue and as deep as a tranquil ocean in the summer sunlight. Not only is she very good-looking, Halo is also the brains of the family. Her IQ is over 100 and getting higher every day! Although it should be impossible to dislike such a loving, friendy, generous spirit, Halossa is cruelly mocked and taunted by Ceruste and Bee, who treat her as litle more that the poorest servant girl. However, if Securi is around, she'll soon put a stop to their insults! Halossa was the first unlucky neopet to be captured by Bee, when she was looking for her missing Buzzer, Aloe. Will she ever find him?


Ceruste


Ceruste was once a Darigan Gnorbu, a creature so rare that nobody knows of any that exist now. In fact, she was the only Darigan Gnorbu ever born! Her spite and cruelty was so harsh that one day, the other Gnorbus pooled in all of their money and purchased a rare Plushie Paint Brush. It was extremely expensive, but in their opinion it was worth it! One fine evening, a young Mutant Gnorbu sneakily told Ceruste that there was another Darigan Gnorbu emerging from the Rainbow Pool with beauty and intelligence that surpassed ever hers! Enraged and jealous, she sped to the Rainbow Pool to confront this brute. To her horror, she was pushed into the glittering waters, along with the Plushie Paint Brush! As Ceruste's body floated to the surface, she felt an unusual tingling sensation spreading from her ears to her tail. She looked down, and saw her plum-coloured scales dropping into the water and dissolving. Soft fur sprouted from her body instead. As she climbed out of the pool, she realised that she was no longer the niece of Lord Darigan. She was a plushie! Confused, upset and crueller than ever, she fled to the Haunted Woods where she was captured by Bee. I think that maybe horrid creature like Ceruste could benefit from having a person like Bee around. Ceruste agrees, and firmly believes that as a UC Darigan, Bee has the power to replace her Darigan pride, however impossible that may seem. Because of this fantasy, she allowed herself to be captured by Bee and stays with him willingly. Her adoration of Bee seriously annoys him though!

Note: I have only just recieved Ceruste. She will remain as a part of the Ebony Clan until June, when she will join the Opal Clan. The Ebony Clan will then be de-activated.

Why?

I first saw Bee when I was looking through a page of pets up for adoption, after a topic on the Pound Boards captured my attention. I admit, at first, I was not completely in love with Bee. I have never been a fan of Skeiths and to be quite honest I have loathed every single one of them. Furthermore, I am a bit of a name snob and I usually dislike pets with unpronouncable names filled with numbers and underscores. However, there is just something about Bee that makes him totally, incredibly, amazingly unique and evil. He's quite obviously a heartless monster, although he is only 6 years old. Despite this, I don't know why I decided to apply for Bee. Was it his hypnotising eyes the colour of fresh blood? Could it have been his purple scales, which seemed to capture all of the light and hope of his victims? Perhaps it was his ebony-black scales, or that marvellous tail that swished like a deadly python in a jungle glade? I simply do not know. Something about Bee just made me want him moreand more every time I saw his demonic little face. I suppose it's just one of those things.

Why do I love Bee? Well, at first it was simply because a UC Darigan Skeith is just so unique and rare (however horrible and greedy that may sound), but now there is so much more for me to tell you.

Bee would be the perfect addition to my family.
Sure, Securi and Halo are gorgeous with their sweet girliness and charm, but everyone needs a tough, evil night monster to keep them in check, right? Plus, I'm sure that Ceruste wouldn't mind having him around...

-I don't have to worry about "Oh, he looks fat, nooo, *dies* end of the world!" kinda junk, because Skeiths are plump and well-fed. I am planning on using the image in his profile in the BC, and I will draw more art too.

If you put these two together, you get Gaming-Console-Handsome. Maybe even 'Playful & Handsome.' Well, Bee is very handsome, but playful? Not so much. Instead, I've changed his full name so that the 'PS2' part stands for 'Pet Slavetrader 2nd.' Basically, he's the second most important slave trader in Neopia! The first, of course, is a secret that nobody else knows.
I have given him the nickname Bee because, as a Darigan Skeith, Bee should be too fat to fly, yet his wings have carried him far and will continue to do so. This makes him similar to the Bee, as science says that the bee's tiny wings should be unable to carry the large, rather plump bee, but nature continues to prove us wrong.
-Customising!
UCs may have rather limited customising, but I can think of many backgrounds and trinkets to present to Bee. I can buy NC very easily and very often.

Plans

I have many, many plans dancing around madly in my head waiting for Bee to fufil them. One of the reasons that I desire Bee is my need to express my creatvity, and I strongly feel that Bee can help me do so. Here are a few plans for Bee that I have imagined:

Story-Writing

Writing fictional stories is one of my favourite hobbies! All of my life, I have enjoyed expressing my imagination and creativity. It's another reason I wrote this application. Writing to me is a fabulous way to do this and I wish to write children's fiction when I am an adult. I cannot imagine a better job!

Battledome

I think that it would be good to train Bee into a famous, deadly fighter with a lethal fighting technique. In my opinion, training Bee and giving him a tough fighting score will help make his violent reputation more believable. I am collecting Codestones and they can be found in his gallery. Furthermore, I have been granted the guidance of a heavy battler who in almost 4,000 battles has only lost three times, two of which were for avatars. You want to see this Evil Overlord? Bee

Past
During a dark era filled with werewolves and the walking dead, a deadly creature lurked in the depths of the shadows. He pulled a cloak of darkness around him to hide his handsome yet terrible form. Many consider his existance a myth, a cunning method to make children behave. Many people are wrong. His footsteps were surprisingly light and dainty considering his gigantic form. In fact, they sounded like they belonged to a much smaller and delicate creature. It was as though Mother Nature crafted this creature to trick the mind into a false sense of security.

Bee was basically a slave trader. He captured lost pets in the Haunted Woods at night, then traded most of them with other Darigans for gold. The best slaves, of course, he kept for himself.
Bee was trained by his father from an early age to profit from the weak and helpless. His trusty dagger enabled him to gain fortunes beyond the dreams of his fellow Skeiths. However, his astonishing fortune came to an end when he was captured by the Defenders of Neopia just as he was about to reach his billionth piece of gold. Reduced to an imprisoned Darigan with not a penny to his name, the hatred that grew inside Bee's heart swelled until nothing but loathing and cruelty existed in his beastly form. And with hatred, came strength. Using his dreadful power, he tore through the prison walls that had prevented his vicious delight and flew away, a murderer back for more.

Present
At this moment in time, Bee is still at large. The Haunted Woods is still his home and he still profits from the pain of other pets. His current slaves are Halossa the Brown Cybunny, Securi the Faerie Pteri and Ceruste the Plushie Gnorbu. Bee lives in luxury and could not be much happier, but will that change? Only time will tell.

Future
Any decent fortune-teller will tell you that the future can be changed by one's actions, so Bee's future remains uncertain. Will he be captured by the good citizens of Neopia? Will he remain the terror of the Haunted Woods? One thing remains certain: if I am chosen to adopt Bee, he will never be up for trade, adoption or sold.
