A Valhallian looked out her window about midnight, gazing at the stars. Her gaze, however, caught a cloaked figure, with fire coming off him. Crawling up on her window to get a better look, her paws slipped, and she fell out - unable to flap her wings. Hitting the pavement she was instantly dead. The figure got up, and moved towards the dead body of the young girl, making a cut in her wrist with a scythe of pure fire. The next morning, her lifeless body was found on the doorstep of her house by her parents, cold as stone.

History
He had no reason to act the way he did. He hadn't had an unhappy childhood, and was perfectly normal as a kid. Only, he vanished for a year, and when he came back, others noticed differences. He had been sent to a prestigious school, and had returned... changed. His parents couldn't get him to reveal what had happened, and what he had gone through - all they knew was that he soon displayed strange habits upon homecoming.
Fondness of death seemed to be one. Should something die, he gazed at the corpse with a wistful gleam in his eye, and soon afterwards, he seemed to hear voices. So, naturally, they assumed he was going crazy. It was soon arranged for him to go to an asylum, and have his condition treated. Of course, the day that he was supposed to leave, he vanished. No one has seen him - if they are alive at least - for the past ten years, and many assumed him dead. They were wrong. Dead bodies turned up at doorsteps, and all of them had a mark from a scythe on their wrist. Soon, this lurking xwee gained a reputation as the Grim Reaper - nicknamed Night Death, despite how far it is from the truth.
It is his hobby to lurk out at night, and when he comes upon a corpse, return it. However, it is bad news to mistake this cloaked Cherub as a helpful soul, for he has been know in the past to be... eccentric and stubborn, on his own side, and his only ally. What this strange cherub's goal and motives are remains a mystery to all who whisper of the Night Death.
The Shui Valtera

Here is a role play that I used Xacuo for, and apparently a possible start to a slight mini plot.
The day had started out nice enough. Xarnya had taken Zwindal by the lake to play in the snow, the evening cold, but not too cold, since the sun was in the sky. After meeting Ul for a bit, Zwindal had been attacked by Caturi, who missed Zwindalia thanks to Xarnya's quick action, the valtera being dragged into the lake instead. It was thanks to newports that she'd been let free and dumped out of the lake, and wet, freezing and hurt, she began searching for her daughter.... But Ul had taken the newborn with him, leaving the mother for dead. Xarnya followed his fading footprints, until the water on her fur and the cold atmosphere and snow made her falter, shivering, to the ground. She lay there, shivers slowing, eyes closing and not opening, as her freezing body shut down. She was quickly freezing to death.
Jhay sat in a tree near where Xarnya was. She looked down and saw a figure laying there, nearly lifeless. "What's this?" she asked herself, jumping down. She quietly made her way to Xarnya's body, looking at her intently.
With a hop and a jump, Xacuo walked through the trees, an almost insane smile cramed across his face, though it ended up more as a smirk. Someone seemed to be dead up ahead - and so appeared that wistful gleam... death... something he wanted, but couldn't acheive. He took out his scyth, and made his customary mark on Xarnya's wrist. Of course, a second later, his eyes glinted slight rage. He had made a mistake. Mistakes were not to be tolerated... but finishing her now wouldn't be fun. Slowly, he raised his flames, slowly defrosting Xarnya. Time enough later when she was at full strength. THEN things would be interesting.
Jhay quickly looked to Xacuo who had ended up right next to her. She flipped backwards, now farther away from him. She didn't plan on getting hurt here.
Phiroli walked quietly through the snow his tail draging behind him as he walked towards Xarnya's house after wandering through the forest all day. As he looked over seeing some other Xweetoks looking at something in the snow he desided to go over towards them soon seeing someone in the snow and quickly reconizing her "Xarnya!" He called as he came over looking at Xacuo "What happened to her?!" He asked worryed. Noticing the Xweetok was warming her up but watched her weapon nervously. He had not seen him cut her wrist his eyes going back to Xarnya worryed.
Xarnya did not feel the mark on her wrist, it was too numb, just like the frozen blood in the wound on her tail. But the heating around her made her twitch, and she slowly opened her eyes, looking up at the flaming cherub. She was still weak and much frozen though, "My...child... Zwindalia... please... find her..." She didn't seem to understand the condition she herself was, only worried about her missing daughter.
He looked in distaste at those around him. Death was his business, the causing of it, the returning of the bodies. Thease FOOLS were trying to take it, and the voices in his head were tempting him, tempting him so to take them and... Xacuo's flames rose up higher, and he growled at the new arrival, dismissing Jhay as worthless and, worse yet - weak. The other, seemed to know the now-marked xweetok who he was busy deforsting.
Jhay was concerned when it came to kits. She heard Xarnya say to save her kit. She walked quietly back over to her limp body and asked "Who took her?" in a stern voice.
Hiro looked at Xarnya worryed as he went over to her as his paws begain to glow a yellow and red color as he started to heal her wounds "Zwindalia?" He asked then loking around a little but mainly consentrated on healing Xarnya first "We will find her
Jhay looked around. It was getting too crowed- too populated for her liking. She gave a stern look to Xacuo, she could tell he was no good, then scoffed as she flew off, out of sight.
Xarnya looked to the others, "Urleao... I .. i think he took her... there was no one else..." She tried to stand, but it was a weak attempt. "Zwindalia... must find her!"
Xacuo didn't care. If this child this other talked about died - more for him to envy, as well as returning the body. He looked at the others. "Well, I didn't know we sported a huge love for those that are destined to death here. Why don't weak back up, meh?" he asked, his voice sounding with a hint of insanity. Kidnapping Xarnya was not beyond this unpredictable fellow. His flamed wings flapped once, and the air around him grew almost unbearably hot as he smirked - eyes holding an insane glimmer.
Xarnyaa felt feverish. But the heat from Xacuo was quickly defroting her limbs, that hurt as feeling came back to them. Once more she struggled to stand, "Must...find... her..." She panted, looking to Phiro.
Hiro quickly tryed to keep Xarnya down as the glow around his paws and Xarnya dssapered "Please we will find her but you are still weak! Don't strain your self!" He pleaded looking over at the other Xweetok confused "WHAT are you talking about" He asked worryed as he felt the air temperature rise. "Who are you?" He demanded as he tryed to get himself between Xarnya and Xacuo.
Death is MY business." was all he said, dodging behind Phi, and promptly picking up the weak Xarnya. He gave another insane smirk before taking flight, and heading twords... wherever he felt, though it was almost impossible to see him above the clouds. Xarnya had gotten his death mark. And she would have her death, but what's the fun in killing the weak and sick?
Hey!" Hiro yelled as he quickly jumped into the trees as high as he could go and trying to grab onto Xacuo before he got out of reach "Leave Xarnya alone!" He yelled angerly.
Xarnya was mildly surprised as Xacuo scooped her up, but did not protest... Why would she? He was helping her find Zwindalia, correct? Why else would he fly above? It would be easier to spot Urleao from the sky of course! "Thank you... for helping me find her...
