PIRATES OF NEOPIA

At first glance, you may think that pirates are ruthless creatures that spend the day sailling ships, looking for fights, and swashbuckling with other pirates, but one week's stay on Krawk Island will teach you a little something about the pirates of Neopia.

DAY ONE

Our first day will be admiring the fashion of Krawk Island. If you want to turn your little neopet into a pirate you will need a Pirate Paint Brush!

This list of neopets will show you the different pirate styles to help you pick which one looks best to you. :)

DAY TWO

Day two will be spent out at sea. You can play many games with the pirates of Neopia, but beware - Pirates don't always play fair!
Deckball
In the game of Deckball, you can choose between a Pawkeet and a Mirgle to play with. You then attempt to score a point in the other opponent's goal. This an intense struggle between petpets. It's a terrific game to play or watch!

Deckswabber
This game requires a helpful crew member to swab the decks of the ship. You jump from square to square changing them to the same color to advance to the next level. You also want to score some more points by picking up bonus items such as Dubloons. Beware of the swords, cannons, and other pirates, though. They aren't very nice and they will take away health points.

Dubloon Disaster
Dubloon Disaster is a pretty simple game. You are a Krawk named Dorak who needs to row his boat around to collect Dubloons. The Black Pawkeet, the most fearsome pirate ship in Neopia, is sailing nearby, throwing out mines, though. You need to be careful of the mines or it will be off to Davy Jones' Locker for ye.

Bilge Dice
If you wish to try your luck against the pirates, Bilge Dice is the game for you. You must place a bet of 10, 50 or 100 Neopoints. Three pirates play against you in this game: Monty, Grimtooth, and Deadeye. Roll the dice, and try to keep the highest numbers. There are also two qualifiers, 1 and 4, and you must roll those too, to progress in the game. This game mostly requires strategy and luck.

Petpet Cannonball
This game is a good example of the pirate life. It is what the pirates play to pass the time. They pull out their unused cannons and barrels and try to shoot a petpet from one to the other. But don't worry - The petpets are unharmed. :)

DAY THREE

After the day at sea, you may start to feel a little sea sick, so we will stop back on the mainland. This would be a good time to visit Cap'n Threelegs' Swashbuckling Academy.

Here you can use Dubloons, the Krawk Island currency, to train your pet! There are four different course types: Sea Urchin, Deckhand, Pirate, & Cap'n. The course type depends on your Neopet's level, and each costs a different amount. If you are interested in training your pet, the Academy is the best in Neopia!

DAY FOUR

Your stay on Krawk Island wouldn't be the same unless you try some authentic pirate food!

What would a meal be without some drinks?!

Drink up me 'earties, yo ho!

DAY FIVE

The next stop is the Dubloon-O-Matic.

This is where you can exchange your chests of Dubloons into one expensive looking coin. Here are the 11 Dubloons you can use on Krawk Island, and how much they are worth.

DAY SIX

If you haven't noticed in the last five days, Krawk Island is roaming with many kinds of petpets! It wouldn't be wise to try to take a wild one for your pet (they aren't as friendly) so you should stop in Little Nippers. There you can find a grand variety of petpets to match your pirate pets!

DAY SEVEN

Upon leaving, a nice Pirate Poogle hands you 300 Neopoints. "Why don't you try your luck at the Buried Treasure?", he asked.

You walk up and pull out a peg. Look - You won an avatar!
