Hello, and welcome. This page is the site of the Red Pen Guild's summer tournament.

You guys'll sign up. I'll pair you off. What'll happen is that the partners will verse each other, normal tournament style. Each round will be a different form of writing- stories, poems, whatever. There will also be a way for eliminated contestants to be put back into the contest, but you'll have to find that out later. *mysterious smirk* The person who gets all the way to the top wins!

I'll be trying to add some twists to the tournament, so be aware of what's going on! The first prompt is above.

The winners of the round, as Keeki said, will get this trophy to put somewhere, as well as on the guild directory and a petpage with the trophies which'll be made in the near future. It'll be up here soon.

The trophy will have something to do with the plot- and here it is!

Prompt: Write a story that's 2000-3000 words long, from the point of view of a teacher. The teacher has a problem student, but the teacher discovers something (not a disease or a death) that makes the kid act the way they do.

Prompt: Write a story that's at the most 2000 words long, somewhere within including a poem that's not a Haiku, based (as loosely or strictly as you wish) on the line from Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night": If music be the food of love, play on!
