Ah, are you digging on my grave My loved one?--planting rue?" - "No: yesterday he went to wed One of the brightest wealth has bred. 'It cannot hurt her now,' he said, 'That I should not be true.'"

Then who is digging on my grave? My nearest dearest kin?" - "Ah, no; they sit and think, 'What use! What good will planting flowers produce? No tendance of her mound can loose Her spirit from Death's gin.'"

But some one digs upon my grave? My enemy?--prodding sly?" - "Nay: when she heard you had passed the Gate That shuts on all flesh soon or late, She thought you no more worth her hate, And cares not where you lie."

Then, who is digging on my grave? Say--since I have not guessed!" - "O it is I, my mistress dear, Your little dog, who still lives near, And much I hope my movements here Have not disturbed your rest?"

Ah, yes! YOU dig upon my grave . . . Why flashed it not on me That one true heart was left behind! What feeling do we ever find To equal among human kind A dog's fidelity!"

Mistress, I dug upon your grave To bury a bone, in case I should be hungry near this spot When passing on my daily trot. I am sorry, but I quite forgot It was your resting-place." - Thomas Hardy, Ah, Are You Digging on My Grave?

Name: Wiuenask
Alias: Are you kidding me? If I know you enough, which is unlikely, aquaintances call me Wen. Think about setting up a nickname for yourself to call me by and expect to have a broken jaw.
Personality: Cold, hostile, arrogant, vitrolic, sedulous in his habit of being alone.
Flaws: Fractious, cajoling enough to get him in loads of trouble with pack leaders and members alike, likes to find the faults in someone and bluntly use them against them, damaging his nearly-invisible trustworthyness even further. Intemperate; lacks self-control.
Likes: Twilight, dawn, rainstorms (not particularly thunderstorms), moonlit nights (he has an acrimonious taste for pitch black evenings where he cannot see).
Loathes: Dusk, thunderstorms, swimming in rivers to get to a desired destination, or, swimming in general, hot, sweltering days, deception. Loud noises. Humans.
Siblings: Zïre (Zy-ree), Eloshri. Both are missing in Wiuenask's life, and have only run into Wiuenask twice in their lifetime after their parents' death, but still seek him out whenever they can, guided by the defiant Zïre. They seem determined to stay by their brother's side, no matter how dangerous the circumstances are.
Parents: Died in a forest fire.

If there was ever a time for forgiveness...

It was a cool night, as it was suspected in the Kirnnoct Mountains. The Aloshire pack was settling in for the night, unbeknownst of the dark deeds that were to be taken place. "Wiuenask?" A feminine voice called lightly from a shallow cave. About four others were with her, all readying for sleep to come. Said Lupe turned, his piercing green eyes penetrating into the soft grey-blues of his sister's. "I'll come soon, Zire." He muttered quietly, turning his head forwards again as he peered into the waning moon above them. There was the soft patter of paws coming towards him, and Wiuenask turned to greet their owner-- Zire. Wiuenask frowned, narrowing his eyes at the younger sibling before him. "I've heard news from Mother and Father that the rival pack Psinria will be arriving by dawn. We should get some rest if we are to confront them, Wiuenask." Zire said thoughtfully, motioning for her brother to follow her inside of the cave where Eloshri and their parents were waiting. Wiuenask hesitated for but a moment before giving in, trailing after his sister. Laying down on the cool ground, he rested his head on his paws as the peaceful quiet finally settled in over the family. Eloshri was sleeping beside Zire by this time, and his Mother and Father were curled up in a corner of the cave, fast asleep. The weary Lupe took one last cursory glance at his family, then to the entrance of the cave before nodding off to sleep some while later.

And to think things would have never been simpler to cause bedlam-- right where the sun was to kiss the skies at dawn.

Ere long, there were the agonizing cries and screams of pain and horror filling Wiuenask's ears, and he shot straight up from his sleep. It was storming outside of the cave, but with a quick look behind him, he figured out that his parents nor his siblings were nowhere in sight. Taking the screams of terror to his attention, the alerted Lupe jumped to his feet, bounding out of the cave and into the fray where five Lupes were taking on his kin in a brutal attack. Teeth bared and claws drawn, Wiuenask went for the nearest enemy, ripping them away from Eloshri, who at the time was trying to escape to her mother, Akrothlen, in the midst of being clawed to death as she did so. Wiuenask dug his teeth deeper into the neck of Eloshri's attacker, knowing full well his youngest sister wasn't really that much of a fighter-- or an instigator of one, to be honest. The Lupe in Wiuenask's jaws howled in pain, and he was quickly thrown to the side as his attacker went on to deal with the rest of Psinria's Lupes. "Should've picked a better time to attack us! What, too cowardly to beseech our lands when we're awake? You're pack is so degrading. Why don't you act like a team for once and FLEE!" He snarled, watching as Zire caught his perephial vision as the vicious Lupe tore through a rival's face with her sharp claws. Blood was shed like rain, and the lightning storm above was only getting worse. Before another drop of blood was to be dropped, it seemed to have come out of nowhere, but it was as quick as death. Lightning struck a nearby tree, lighting it afire with a brilliant blaze. Wiuenask's Father backpedaled away from the falling tree, leaving the Lupe he was fighting for dead as the massive oak fell on top of the animal, crushing it to death instantaneously. Small brush and bushes beside the flames licking at the bark were caught on fire quickly, turning the whole area into a deathtrap. "ZIRE!" Eloshri called, rushing over to her sister who was preoccupied with annihilating the Lupe she was currently dealing with. Akrothlen howled for her love, Ghaoru, sprinting to his side as the flames gathering around the family began to increase in tempurature and height. Wiuenask made it over to Eloshri and Zire, checking them over swiftly before nodding to himself, going to face his Mother and Father's injuries if they had any. "Wiuenask! We need to run! Tell Mother and Father! The fire's spreading, and the rest of Psinria have fled for their lives. There's nothing left here but a memory-- there's no reason for us to linger unless we're to haunt this place for eternity!" Zire exclaimed, exhasperated from the fight, along with the adrenaline pumping through her veins. Eloshri seemed to have recovered from the scratches she had received on her body whilst she was being attacked, and was standing beside Zire, awaiting orders from her older brethren. Wiuenask paused, looking over to where his parents were making their way over to them, albeit with difficulty. "Mother!" He yelled, running over to them. Akrothlen gritted her teeth in pain, limping with a slashed pawpad in her right front leg. Ghaoru seemed to have sustained minor burns from the fallen tree, but was otherwise not badly injured. "We need to run-- and now." They nodded briskly, and the four tailed behind Wiuenask as the Lupe charged out of the fire-infested area, jumping over boulders and bushes as fast as he could to get away.

There was a river filled with logs up ahead, and Wiuenask urged his sisters to jump the rocks peppering the surface to get safely to the other side. The heat of the fire reached an all-time high, and the Lupe felt himself weaken from exhaustion. His Mother wasn't too far behind, nor was his Father, but Wiuenask knew well enough that they couldn't survive well on after this. Should he let them suffer if their wounds refused to heal after the escape? Should he let them rest in peace in their home? Afterall, the road to nowhere was Wiuenask and his sisters' next stop, and the Lupe wondered if his parents would be able to cope with that fact that their home was to be lost to one of Nature's most deadly phenomenons. Biting back his doubts, Wiuenask skidded to a halt, watching Eloshri and Zire go on ahead, hopping the rocks to the other side. Wiuenask looked back to the blazing fire gathering around him, then to his Mother and Father who were just a few feet away from him. He growled, turning on his heel to kick at a nearby tree that was having flames dance around it by this time. Wiuenask jumped out of the way, seperating himself from his Mother and Father with the burning tree set off in between them. Ghaoru and Akrothlen came to a stop, looking around wildly for a path to cut through to the other side. Akrothlen's yellow eyes met Wiuenask's impassive ones, and her demeanor grew to desperate. Ghaoru was screaming vulgarities at his son for doing such a foolish thing, while Zire and Eloshri--safely on the other side of the river--were yelling at Wiuenask for his unmistakably horrid deed he had just committed. Zire looked the most irate, however, while Eloshri held a softened disappointment for her brother, she being the most reclusive out of the three of them. "I'm sorry." Wiuenask whispered softly, before turning and having his parents' screams of agony and horror come to deaf ears. Ere long, the cries died down as they perished to the fire, leaving Wiuenask and his sisters orphaned to the world from that moment on.

When he made it to the other side of the river, Zire was ignoring him, deciding it was better to go on ahead and further away from the fiery grave still raging on behind them. Eloshri came to trot beside Wiuenask, her eyes asking for an explanation. There never came one. After some hours of walking, and the acrid smell of smoke no longer making the three siblings dizzy and disoriented, Wiuenask stopped, facing another direction. "I need to leave. It...would be best." He announced, finally making Zire turn and face her brother for the first time that day. Her e|xpression was a mix of anger and confusion. Eloshri's ears pinned themselves to her skull, and she narrowed her gentle viridian eyes at him. "Why?" Eloshri asked. Wiuenask shook his head slowly, and gave in to walking along with them for a few more hours, tailing behind them by a few yards.

By the time Eloshri turned to see if her brother was still following them, there was no sign or whiff that he was around. "Zire...our brother is gone." Zire paused in her step, seeming to take on a discombobulated look on her face. After a while, it disappeared. "We'll find him again, Eloshri. There must have been a reason that he wanted to annihilate Mother and Father. When we do run into him, though, we are not to speak of the past. I'd rather stay in the safety of his presence rather than in the tense aura of it if we decide to pry for answers." She explained, lowering her head gloomily before walking on. Eloshri frowned, before giving up on trying to decipher just what Wiuenask was thinking back when he was on the latter side of the river with their parents. Time may never tell, and Wiuenask may never break his explanation. If they found him again, it'd be a reunion of happiness, floating around the present and not the past. One had to forget the past in order to live in the present, but was forgetting the past really worth it so much now? Eloshri wondered, shaking her head briskly to take away the thought from her mind. She trotted up beside Zire, who was leading them to an opening in a small meadow. Hunting was to come now, since neither had eaten since about two days ago.

Never in their lives had they felt so alone without their brother looking out for them, protecting them. Zire now had the sudden conflict battling itself in her heart that she was to protect Eloshri with all she had, and, when the time came, protect Wiuenask as well. Despite the dangers that lay ahead, there would be nothing in the world that could seperate the sisters from their brother, no matter if Wiuenask wanted company or not. But for now, Zire wanted to give him space for a few days, contemplate on his decision. And for now, it'd be the first night without the rest of their kin around. The pack of Kirnnoct was officially disbanded and in shambles. Was there ever going to be peace in this unforgiving world?

They never saw Wiuenask for two years...two long years, and the anxiety of wanting to find him grew into desperation. However, Wiuenask had made sure to hide himself well from the world his sisters were travelling on, being sure to keep off the tracks they would be most likely to trod. There was no room for forgiveness for what he had done. He remembered the horrified looks of his Mother's eyes, and the hateful e|xpression on his Father's face was burned forever into Wiuenask's memory. The unforgiven are never forgiven...he was sure that's what his Father was emphasizing in his last dying moments. There was no justice for Wiuenask, and the thought of that scared Wiuenask more than death itself.

If there was ever a time for forgiveness...

RULES

1. These are NOT makeables!
2. DON'T use in the BC!
3. Keep my name on!
4. Don't edit anything, please.
5. Enjoy them, okay? c:
6. NO STICKY PAWS!
7. Do NOT request one JUST to have one. I don't spend an hour and a half making a Lupe adopt that's got complicated features on him that you've spewn to me from the dark corners of your imagination only to have one for your own benefit of having one, and not bothering to put them on a petpage you haven't already made yourself. Seriously, cut me some slack here, alright? :c I keep getting requests like these, and they're getting annoying. If you ask for one in this situation, you WILL be rejected.
8. There will be NO MORE Lupe adopt requests with clothes on them. I've messed up enough requests, and they only have me go unmotivated and put others in line of delay for their own requests. I hate adding this rule, but it's a fact that I certainly cannot draw clothes. I like my adoptables to be quad, and they will stay that way, thank you.
