Welcome to All About Winkerbee. I'm Winkerbee, a red Kacheek from Roo Island, and I'm glad to see you here today! Please make yourself at home. This site was originally started in August 2009 as Winkerbee's Pet Page, a site dedicated to informing you about everything pertaining to me, and has been around ever since, with various layouts and ever-changing content. Why don't I show you around and tell you some things about myself?

Introduction

My name, as you already know, is Winkerbee. I was created when my owner, Chev, started playing Neopets in 2007. I live in a Neohome on Roo Island with my friends, Kianur the ice Bori and Xeviport the mutant Elephante, and my wonderful petpet, Snooky the babaa.

This site actually started as a game guide back in 2008. That lasted about a week. So, Chev and I thought it would be cool to have a page completely about me! It started out with one paragraph, a made-with-Paint banner, and a blue background. It kept getting bigger, though, and it had more layouts, until it came to what it is now! It's a unique site, and it's all about me. =D

Snooky, My Babaa

Snooky is my petpet; he is a white babaa. Once upon a time, I never had a petpet. I asked Chev if I could have one, and he gave me some Neopoints and told me I could get one! I decided I would get a babaa. I took the ferry to Neopia Central, and I started looking for a babaa that I liked. But none of the stores had any nice, white, affordable babaas! I felt like crying, and I was ready to give up and go home. Then I went into a dark little store on a back street, and there was this sweet little babaa looking up at me and baa-ing inside. I knew he would be perfect! I bought him, named him Snooky, and took him home with me.

Snooky sleeps in his own little corner in my neohome. He follows me around, and sometimes even goes to bed with me! Sometimes Snooky can be sneaky, though; I have to keep an eye on him or he'll start eating all the plants in the yard, or worse, he'll nibble on the bamboo furniture. I love him a lot anyway!

Snooky's best friend is a babaa named Squzzy, a photo of whom is right under this text! ^^

My Neohome

I live in a big classic neohome on Roo Island with my family. Once upon a time, I never had a neohome. I talked to Chev about getting one, and he thought we should. So, we bought a vacant lot on Roo Island. There was only one room originally, and it was quite small. The furniture was also extremely mismatched, which drove me crazy! We had more rooms built on, though, and we filled them with all kinds of matching furniture. I got to pick out everything! I finally had a real kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.

My favorite room is the kitchen, because I really enjoy cooking! I cook all the meals and wash the dishes. I especially like baking, but sometimes it gets really messy. Once I tried making fudge. That was horrible.

My favorite things to make are spaghetti, fruitcake, tacos, and stir-fry! But I don't like making pancakes. Those are messy. :(

Family & Friends

For a long time, I lived in my Neohome all by myself with only Snooky to keep me company. However, one day I went to what I thought was a carnival. Much to my horror, it was actually a freak show, displaying stange and horrific-looking Neopets as if they were items! I made up my mind to help one of the "displays," a mutant Elephante, escape. We pulled it off, and the mutant, Xeviport, now lives with me in my Neohome! He is very quiet but very smart. Here is a photograph of him!

One day while I was fishing on the dock in a village on the coast of Roo Island, I bumped into an ice Bori who had just gotten off a ship that was docked. I hastily apologized, and he asked if there was any places where he could stay the night. I said I did and took him to my house. He liked me, and I liked him, and right then and there he decided to stay! His name is Kianur, and he lived most of his life with his aged grandmother in a cabin on a mountain in the land of Terror Mountain. He is quite polite and has a well-developed sense of humor!

More Great Friends

My Favorite Games

I like games, and I like playing them. I like participating in them, especially. I've volunteered to fill in for Samrin, Albert, and Alton Moughbry, but they haven't taken a day off in years. Oh well.

My favorite game is Kacheek Seek. It's one of the oldest games in Neopia; it was originally called Badeek Seek and was featured in the original game room. In the game, a Neopet hides somewhere in a scene, and its owner has to find it! It can get very hard, but it's very fun. Chev likes Kacheek Seek too (thank goodness), so we play it a lot.

My second-favorite game is also very old. It's called Gormball, and it's very easy to play! A group of players tosses around a gormball, which is just like a normal ball, except for the fact that it blows up randomly. O.O If you're holding the Gormball when it explodes, you're out! The last person left wins. Gormball has its own Neopedia article and its own day on the calendar.

The Gormball players are, starting from the top right (going clockwise): Ember the faerie, Farvin III the alien Aisha, Gargarox the mutant Grundo and proprieter of Grundo's Cafe, Brian the red Scorchio, Thyassa the purple Chia, Kevin the Korbat, Ursula the Usul, and Gargarox the COOL Grundo.

Dr. Sloth used to be one of the players, but he had to leave due to *cough* unknown reasons. I wonder what those could be... Anyway, he was replaced by the character we know as Kevin the Korbat.

Another one of the Gormball characters is Thyassa the purple Chia. He's actually a real Neopet, believe or not. (Go look him up in the search bar!) As a matter of fact, he was the first Neopet ever created. His owner is Donna, one of the co-founders of the Neopets website. (And look at all those trophies he has. *is slightly jealous*)

My Favorite Avatars

These are all of my favorite avatars, and how to get them!

	This a default avatar, which means you automatically have it.
	To get this avatar, you need to score at least 250 points in the wonderful game Extreme Herder.
	You receive this avatar randomly when you find your pet in my favorite game, Kacheek Seek.
	You get this avatar as a random event at the Game Graveyard.
	Take one of us kacheeks to the beach on Mystery Island!
	You get this AWESOME avvie when you score 1,200 or more points in the game The Castle of Eliv Thade.
	Have one of the top 50 high scores in the game Math's Nightmare.
	You need to watch the band Yes Boy- Ice Cream at the Concert Hall to get this snazzy avatar. They play on the 12th, the 19th, and the 26th of every month.
	This avatar can be acquired by scoring 2250 or more points in the game Mutant Graveyard of Doom II.
	If you want to get this avatar, win a game of GORMBALL!!!

Roo Island

I live on Roo Island, a mini-world located 30 miles east of Neopia Central. 95% of the island's 275,000 inhabitants are Blumaroos, so it's quite rare for me to ever see another Kacheek! Roo Island is a very happy place, which is why I like living there.

King Roo is the wise ruler of Roo Island! He's also famous for something else- his favorite game, Dice-A-Roo! It's a very fun (and cheap) game that can be played by going to his eccentrically shaped palace at the center of Roo Island. Dice-A-Roo is the island's official game, but unfortunately, you have to be thirteen or over to play it. Oh well...

Roo Island's creepiest and most mysterious inhabitant is the elusive Count von Roo. He is very old and very evil. The count sleeps during the day and comes out only at night to play Deadly Dice. I do suggest, however, that you stay away from him; he's rather nasty and he has very long fangs!

Finally, on a much more cheerful note, Roo Island has its own Altador Cup team! We're all very proud of them; they actually won the cup in 2008. The members are Clutch Billaban, Fenny Vail, Gordo Gunnels, Jair Tollet, and the team captain, Lilo Blumario!

My Closet

I have tons of neat clothes. I currently have about 180 items in my closet! Here are some of my favorite outfits:

I really like all of the wearables in my closet. Chev (my owner) finds the coolest stuff. Once he got me a pile of dung, but we eventually flushed it to were it belongs. Icky. At least Matt the Wocky can do something with it now, but I don't pity him.

My favorite item is my bone necklace! Chev bought it for me with free neocash from a site event (or something). Isn't it spiffy? I wear it all of the time!

I was painted Christmas during the Month of Celebrating in Y11! Thankfully, when the holidays were over, Chev painted me back to my favorite color, red.

Aren't we all glad I don't look like THIS!

Red Kacheeks

I am, as you already know, a red Kacheek! Kacheeks are the second most popular species of Neopets in Neopia, second only to Shoyrus. Kacheeks account for around 6% of all of the created pets in Neopia. So red Kacheeks account for (about) 1.5% of all of the Neopets ever created! Yay!

Here is how red Kacheeks have looked, starting with when they were first created. We were originally called Badeeks. Weird, huh?

Red Kacheek Cookies

Things needed:

• Recipe for cookies
• Ingredients called for in the cookie recipe
• Red Frosting
• Black/white frosting
• Red sprinkles/jimmies (optional)

Make the cookies like you would normally, but before you put them in the oven, shape the dough to look like Kacheek's head.

When the cookies are done baking, frost them with red frosting. Use the black/white frosting to draw eyes, a mouth, and a black nose on the cookies. If you would like to, you can lightly sprinkle red sprinkles/jimmies on top of the frosting.

When you are done, put the cookies in a cookie jar!

Photo Album

Sometimes Chev takes me to a photographer's shop, and I get my picture taken. I have to sit terribly still, otherwise the picture doesn't turn out right.

My Favorite Places

My favorite place in the whole wide world is the Merry-go-round, on Roo Island. Chev takes me there every now and then, and it's so fun to ride the Unis as they go up, and down, and around! I could go forever, and sometimes I almost do. Thank goodness that the fee to ride it is so cheap. Somehow, between the Merry-go-round and Dice-a-Roo, I don't think Roo Island has quite caught up with the current state of inflation. Oh well.

I think that, hypothetically, it would be really awesome if there was a land where everything was made of jelly! There could be jelly Neopets, jelly petpets, jelly buildings, jelly everything. Not like any of this exists, though. Now, what would be really neat would be if there was a giant jelly right in the center of town, and everyone could take a chunk out of it whenever they wanted! If only it all existed. Now you probably think I'm crazy, babbling on about all this jelly nonsense. Never mind. Just start reading the next paragraph and forgot you ever read this one. *cough cough*

Sometimes I go to Brightvale and visit its popular bookstore, Brightvale Books! The store looks small from the outside, but inside, it if stuffed full of the best books ever. I really like sitting in a corner there and reading for hours and hours. Snooky just curls up next to me and falls asleep. I never want to leave, but I can't stay forever. I love reading so much, though!

Finally, there's a very special place that I visit every day in the month of December: the Advent Calendar! It's a neat place in the land of Terror Mountain where they give out holiday-themed items to anyone who makes the trek to Happy Valley. I get lots of snazzy wearables from it, and Chev says my winter wearables collection is getting "out of hand." But hey, it's all free!
