Welcome to Anthems webbie page. We're a semi-literate, Glee-based guild. We like to take a fun spin on the Fox television show and apply it to the guilds of Neo. We were created by Rina (Yummypinapplez) when her Glee-obbsession overcame her. We hope you check out more about us.
Literacy is not too much of an issue. We like you to talk with proper grammar and punctuate things. We don't like a lot of chatspeak, but an occasional lol, brb, or gtg is fine.
Respect is also required among members. You don't have to love everybody, but please do not be rude. If you're openly rude to other members, you will recieve a warning from Rina. If you are having problems with the other members, please inform Rina and she'll help deal with it.
Follow TNT's rules. We do not want to be deleted because members decided to argue about something inappropriate. Your posts will be deleted if deemed possibly inappropriate. Don't take this personally, just know that we're trying to protect our guild.
No stealing any of the guild's super-cool-awesome stuff. Thanks. If you would like to use something of ours, please ask and then give us credit.
Well, kiddos. In the episode 'The Comeback', New Directions was asked what an anthem was and Brittany instantly replied, "the bottom of an ant's pants." That's our slogan. The name comes from the fact that an antem is a rousing or uplifting song identified with a particular group, body, or cause. It's kind of a powerful, awesome thing.
We have three teams that you could be a member of. There are Cheerios, Titans, and Gleeks. These were chosen for the clubs in the show. Cheerios are your cheerleaders, Titans are your football/sport jocks, and Gleeks is New Directions members that are ONLY in New Directions. Teams will compete for popularity.
It's a great idea to go start chatting on the boards. Introduce yourself and get to know the other members. It may be a good idea to even put your alias in your siggy. Next you're going to want to check out freshman orientation. That's where you'll get put into a team.
Our ranking system is pretty similar to other teams. We have our regular guilds, except it's not what the guild says. We have teams, which is what your guild 'title' will be. That is based off which club you're in.
Cheerios are the cheerleaders of the school. They tend to do whatever they want, but remain at the top because what's the point of being popular if you can't do what you want. They're some of the best performers in the school.

Teams will compete for popularity. Popularity in the school determines who is the best and doesn't get hit in the face with slushies. Every semester the Glist will be posted. Those at the bottom will recieve slushies. Winners are the alphas for the next semester.
Along with earning popularity, teams may earn dirt. Dirt can be turned into perks. If you've got dirt on other members, teams, or even the heads of teams, you can get some cool things. Check out everybody's lockers to see what kind of dirt they have.
Along with all of this, there are other ranks, called sub-ranks. This is to give all members a way to improve their own individual popularity. More popular members are just, well, more popular. They also recieve benefits that you'll discover later. The sub-ranks are as such.

Please know that sub-ranks have nothing to do with council or anything like that. You do not get admin powers if you have more popularity. You may be more likely to get it or council, but it does not give you anything. There is no sub-council or things like that.
Along with the other things you can earn, there are also labels. You can earn such labels by doing things around the guild. The ways to obtain them are secret to the members until they get them. Please keep it a secret so other's can get the chance to try and figure it out on their own, too. You can find everyone's labels displayed in their lockers. A few examples are:
