You find yourself lost...

..completely isolated on an island. Somehow you managed this without a boat. Perhaps you teleported here, or fell from the sky... or even... took a swim and someway or another almost drowned and drifted. Or maybe you fell overboard off a ship.
However you got here, it doesn't matter. You're here.
Where's here?
You're paranoid. You hear a rustling and jump. What happened to isolation?
For some reason you approach the bush, your curiosity flooding out of you.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
A gryphon towers over you, making a clicking noise. It seams impossible that anything with a beak could make that sort of call. Sensing no danger (most people found on islands usually look weak), he moves off of you, nodding for you to get up. A tiny, armor-covered up feline hops off of the gryphon's back.
She sneers for a second, then looks at you more closely. She scurries around you, sniffing your feet.
You feel the need to squeal at the sign of something so furry and cute in armor, acting like it's your superior (which she seams to be... but she's far too cute.)
She takes off her helmet and nods at you.
You choke back an EEEP!
Welcome to Yesterday. Had you been found at the other side of the island you'd be killed... I'm.. She looks at you for a moment, Wight... call me Wight. I'd rather not share much with a stranger. I'm not an idiot, you know. Follow me or risk your life.
You wonder how a little thing like Wight could protect you, but you follow her anyway.
What else is there to do today?

Name: Wight Inke (white ink)
Alias: Wight/Inke
Gender: Female
Age: 15 (human years)
Status: Single
Species: Row, pronounced like 'now' with an R. (feline with antennae and some bird-like characteristics)
Eyes: Light, tan-brown
Fur and markings: super pale blue-grey with extremely dark navy blue stripes. Turquoise/teal stomach and eye-shadow like design around eye consisting of turquoise/teal, dark navy blue, and pale blue-grey (same colors appear on tail in a ring-like pattern).
Current Residence: Yesterday- an island in the middle of nowhere with miles and miles and miles and miles of sand, forests, and smack dab in the middle is a giant volcano that erupts randomly throughout the day. The island is home to many different Row tribs who live with their mounts (a gryphon-like species called Days)
Transportation: Tomorrow, her Day mount

Reference:

Wight's design is based off markings of many Budgerigar Parakeets. Her entire species are pretty much felines with bird-like markings, and they have a mount (their mounts start out as wispy spirits that grow as the Rows do) that has extremely similar markings to them.
As you can see on the picture to the right, some of them have very bright, colorful stomachs and black stripes. Even the green and yellow Budgerigars have striped wings... which you can see on Tomorrow (Wight's mount). These birds come in an INSANE amount of varieties, but I didn't want Wight to look EXACTLY like these birds... I wanted a slight similarity, and I wanted the mounts to look like.. 4-legged bird versions of the bird itself.

Likes and Dislikes

Likes-Flying, swimming, running, any other form of workout/athletics, playing, chatting with Tomorrow

Dislikes- Fighting (though it's necessary), killing, whispering, kumquats, Teal and Fro(traitors to her tribe)

The ones I love... the ones I hate...

So...who do you know on.. Yesterday, is it? You ask Wight, as she stops to sniff a large berry bush. She lifts her head and answers you...
Well... I know plenty .. friends.. foes... liars...

Tomrrow
Tomorrow is an amazing companion. Ever since I was a kit, he's always been there. When I was born, he was created. Nobody knows how Days are created... some thing they just are. And when I was a kit, I played with him (I batted him as his wispy form floated above me). As I grew, so did he... we were great friends together. Of course, we both had to be an apprentice to somebody.. he learned how to fly and received all his training from a few very experienced, retired warrior Days. He's an incredible companion and I would do anything for him.

Chief Tisp
Chief Tisp is the leader of my tribe . He's incredible strong and an amazing leader... he is my father. He's raised me to his best knowledge, teaching my all his tricks and moves in fighting. Ever since I was little he has been trying to make me understand why we must fight... I think he is ashamed that we must solve all problems between the tribes with violence, just as I am. He dreams of a way to make everyone (including himself) less stubborn, blood-thirsty, and power-hungry. But there's nothing he can do about it, because he himself is a very defensive and stubborn Row. The other tribes think lower of him to think so 'peacefully'. It annoys him, to be called scared and cowardly... but it's a reaction they want, and it's a very bloody one they receive. My tribe has never lost a battle before... ever. My father takes pride in this fact, and constantly tells us this before every battle. We are the best. We are the most powerful. We are the Traen.

Thistle
Thistle has always been like a sister to me. While she can be a bit clingy, and though she is a few years younger than me, she's a very fun Row to be with. She keeps up with me when I go for runs or climb Noon, the large volcano resting in the middle of the island. Though, every time I must go to a fight, she tries to sneak after me with her Day, Hum. Tomorrow always catches them, though, because the two make incredibly clumsy movements and tend to trip a lot. It's not hard to tell that Hum has her eyes set on Tomorrow, and Thistle points that out practically daily... she's very forgetful and hyper, but such a loyal friend. My life would be very boring without her.

Rue
Rue is my fighting partner. He is incredibly quick and strong, and can think fast on his feet. He's the General in our small army. I am not at all offended by this, as my father had to choose between me and Rue.... Rue is an amazing fighter, along with his partner, Asa. Asa is bold and courageous, fearless and a has a big ego compared to the rest of us... she's a female version of Rue plastered onto a Day, which means they can argue quite a bit sometimes. Either way, in the battle field nothing can touch them, and there's hardly a worthy opponent in the field. His war cry sends a tingle through the spines of the other tribes, and I'm almost certain he will be thought of as a legend in the future... noone will believe such an incredible fighter had ever lived in Yesterday.

Slass
Slass is a worthless piece of waste. She betrayed our tribe for a lousy higher position in Pri, an enemy tribe of ours who wanted nothing more than our dead corpses. She led them to our unprotected camp (the warriors were out fighting Pri that day, and kept only two guards and apprentices to watch the mothers and kittens), and they had a slaughter fest. Many tried to escape, but only some prevailed... my mother one of the unlucky amount that was killed that night. Slass had been a very close friend to me, and I could not believe she could have done such a thing... she was full of guilt, of course, and tried to get Traen to except her back, but what could we think of her? She had a day to run- if we ever found her we promised to kill her. Now she is a ruthless leader of a group of outcasts and rouges, focused on keeping the abandoned and hated together, so they could show their ex-tribes what they lost...

Liet
Liet was found, washed up on the shores of Yesterday, 3 years ago when I was 12 years old. He was accepted into my tribe, though many looked down on him as a misplaced rouge. We grew close, and after about a year I found myself in love with him... he was about 2 years older than me, but I couldn't see why it mattered. He was incredibly and sweet and handsome. However... he turned out to be nothing but another traitor to Traen.
He was using me.. something I should've seen but was blinded by a false wrap of kindness and affection.... he wanted to get close to my father. Close enough to kill him and destroy my tribe, not thinking that I was strong enough to carry it due to my age.
He had met Slass, and she had told him of her past and her creation of Xigo, her new clan. But... he never did kill my father. He told me he changed his ways, and that he had fallen for me as I had to him.. but how could I believe him?
My father banished him from Traen, giving him less than a day to escape from our territory (as he had with Slass). Now he is, so I've hear, second-in command of Slass's army and new tribe, Xigo. In a past battle with Traen, he lost his right eye due to Rue's mount clawing it out.
Liet will never forgive Traen, and I hardly blame him. We will never forgive him, either.

The beloved tribe...

There's a clearing up ahead, and as you walk through it, you see some 60 felines together, some covered with armor, some having wounds treated, and some little ones playing.
Wight begins to explain the ranks of the tribe:

Warriors and Fighters:
These are the ones that fight... half the tribe grows up into either of these, and stay a warrior for the rest of their life, until they're too old or frail. There are ranks- General, Lieutenant General, Major General, ect. Currently I am Major General. I've worked hard for that position.... as has Rue to become Lieutenant General.

Elders:
The oldest, wisest, worn out Traen members spend most of the day resting, or helping out the kittens or nursing mothers. Most of the time you'll find them chatting away with each other.

Hunters:
The hunters pretty much... hunt! They go out (sometimes with their mounts) in search of berries or live prey. The hunters in Traen are extremely talented and stealthy... there's never a lack of food.

Mothers and Kits:
The mothers of Traen must be kept in comfortable shelters in order to feed their kits without being, well.. uncomfortable! The kits are usually playing around while the mothers rest and chat (somewhat like elders with more responsibility). Usually the kits will be an apprentice to either a hunter or a warrior when they are old enough (usually about 8-12 weeks after birth). Depending on their behaviors, habits, and personalities, they are sorted to be a warrior or a hunter. Usually the quiet and sneaky are hunters, and the bold, sturdier kits become warriors. Most mothers are worried about their kits becoming warriors, but as they grow they relax more... until the first battle, which they usually go slightly insane and get overprotective.

Days:
The Days are definatly one of the most important species to us... we would be nothing without them. They are our mounts, our protectors, and, most importantly, our beloved friends... when each of us are born, a Day is created... they somehow appear as we do, right into the world. They begin as wisp-like creatures, and then, one day... suddenly a very tiny Day pops up, a little bigger then us though... not quite big enough to ride, however. They grow a lot faster than us, so eventually, when we ARE able to ride... they're about 10 times our size!
Days also have ranks.. not exactly like us, however. They have elders and apprentices, exactly like us. They help to hunt or they help fight... the ranks are pretty much the same when it comes to the army. There are some INCREDIBLY fierce Days when they hit the battle field...

However, Camouflage and Christmas have been shortened to camo and xmas, faerie is faerie copy, island is islandcopy, and pink is oink (yes, it's an insane typo).
