Firstly, I will tell you now—any time in my past whether it has been a personal journal or an effort to describe myself to another person, writing anything about myself or my daily life has brought me nothing but utter boredom. So my only real reason for this page is to display a couple of questions I'd like to be able to refer people to when asked of me. :P I cannot abide talking about myself, it's just not as much fun as talking about the characters in my head.

As for introductions, call me Elphaba or Elphie. Some also know me as Witchy. Please, please, please, please, please do not call my Mothy under any circumstance. I will typically ignore anyone who calls me Mothy. My username is actually Mothyr Witch, not Mothy Rwitch. See what I'm saying? :P If there were any way for me to change my username but keep my account, I would be one of the first to sign up.

Pretty much anything else you could want to know about me can be found by a cursory glance of my accounts, or by talking to me directly. I very much enjoy chatting on Neopets, so don't be afraid to approach me in either neomail or the neoboards. I run a directory for spooky pets, aptly named Haunted, and work to keep it updated regularly.

I collect everything Polarchuck related. Not only are they immensely adorable and squishable, they fiercely remind me of my departed grandfather—affectionately referred to as Papachuck. So naturally, my gallery is dedicated to both him and my love of Polarchucks. :D

I also have a fondness for everything from the Haunted Woods, and I love the spookier pets of Neopia. For me, they have so much more personality than many other colours available to me. I very rarely fail to find a character in one of them. On that same note, I do very much love my pets. Yes, I completely grasp the concept of virtuality and the ideal that they are nothing more than pixels, however I have applied characters to them that very much have a life of their own inside my head. These are characters that have revolved in my head for years, and find artistic representation in the world of Neopia. So, that being said—don't knock my pets. :P

Okay, let's face it. I really don't get a lot of questions sent to my inbox. I am neither famous, nor particularly popular (except with the people who love Haunted), so I have never expected a lot of questions in regards to my account or person. However there have been a few random questions here and there, and there are some facts I'd like people to be able to easily reference without my need to answer the same question over and over again—for those rare days I do get questions. And so I present to you…Elphie's F.A.Q.s!

What should I call you when I neomail/respond to you on the Neoboards?
Please call me Elphie or Elphaba (I will also respond to Elph or Witchy). Just please refrain from calling me Mothy or Moth. Call me Mothy and expect to be either ignored or berated—it depends on my mood.

Can I neomail you?
If you have a valid reason, then of course! Please don't neomail me just to say "hey" or "what's up?" If you have a question or comment, or a Haunted submission, then by all means please neomail me. I just don't like junk neomail filling up my inbox and preventing people with real reason from neomailing me.

Can we be neofriends?
Typically the answer will be no. I don't treat Neopets as a social networking site. I am not trying to make as many friends as possible to "up my count." The people on my neofriends list are people that I talk to regularly, or have been in a guild with, etc. If we talk for a while and I get to like you, then I may send you a neofriend request—or respond positively to yours. If I don't, please don't be offended, I get a lot of random neofriend requests and I often mass-reject.

Someone contacted be about trading for -pet name-...?
If anyone offers ANY of my pets for a trade or even up for adoption, and cannot mail you from my main, they are trying to scam you. I may make offers from my sides on occasion--these are wyldewitch, wynterwitch, lunatwitch, cauldroncake. If you get an offer from ANY other account, please neomail me immediately.

May I use your pet page/userlookup/pet lookups? Even just for a template?
No. I've spent a lot of time making my pet pages, userlookups, and pet lookups, and I don't tolerate theft. I currently do not have any premades, so if I see any of my graphics or my coding being used without my permission, the user will be reported. I try to make my layouts and graphics unique for my pets and for me, and I consider it theft of my personality when such things are stolen.

Do you take lookup/pet page requests?
No. This I have been asked several times (also I've been asked to make premades). As of right now, no, I do not have any premades and I do not take lookup or pet page requests. Maybe when I get all of my own code-work done I will consider making things for others to kill time, but right now no. I will update this if this changes.

Can we be affiliates?
I am currently only accepting affiliates for Haunted.

What programs do you use for your graphics/artwork?
I am currently using GIMP and Photoshop CS5 (love it!)

Can I use -insert one of your pets here- in my story?
Preferably no. If you feel like you absolutely must use one of my pets in your own story, please ensure you contact me first and get my permission.

Can I use one of your stories for -insert any reason here-?
Absolutely not. Even if I am technically applying my stories/personalities to a Neopet, my writing is not public property. Any theft of any of my writing will result in my reporting you, and possible legal action depending on the severity of the theft. (Obviously, no legal action can or will be taken if the theft is merely on a Neopet-to-Neopet basis.)

Can I borrow -insert pet here- for the avatars?
No. Unless I have a pet up for adoption or trade that also happens to be an avatar pet, I will not lend. Don't take this personally, I just never lend out anything I'm not willing to lose, and my pets have a significant value beyond their species or color.

Can I borrow -insert neopoint amount or item here-?
No. While I may give gifts to nice people on occasion, I do not like being asked for my neopoints or items or guilted into giving something to someone. Typically this will only send me into a fit of rage—especially if you try to guilt me. I do not do guilt trips.

Sept. 10th 2010 -- Added my current neogoals so I can keep track of them and show off. :P Plus, I think those Jellyneo counters are really neat-looking. Will add more as I think of more.

Aug. 20th 2010 -- Revamp! I wanted to streamline my coding with my new directory coding...hope you like it!

Aug. 8th 2010 -- Don't expect many updates here. This section may change if I come to the conclusion that it's absolutely unnecessary—or if I can figure out a better idea for this area. :P Right now I'm pretty much too tired to worry about it much.
