If I am chosen, I, Emma, pledge to be the most fantastical owner I can be for my new wizard, Wealthier. I understand all the sadness that he's already been through, and so I will provide everything he needs to keep his wand hand healthy. I promise to be a friend to my new wizard and never ever, ever put him through the pain of that awful cruciatus curse again.

The Way I Work
It was your heart that saved you

One of my friends showed me Neopets in school one day and it all started from there. At that time I didn't even know about fostering and just wanted to earn some neopoints. Then I found fostering and TNO and suddenly Neo had an important purpose. Ever since that's been my main focus and I'm not ashamed to say that if it wasn't for TNO I wouldn't still be here.
My first account I was using back then was emma4292. After much pressure from my parents I had to quit, and adopted out my pets; distributed my money and took a Hiatus. I came back to Neo/TNO in October 2007 and I've not looked back since. I had new accounts [EmmathePiper and later PipeBand; Bagpipers and ScotchCorner], new and amazing pets and a whole new look on fostering. I've been fostering pets since I got back and have had some great times with it.
My account PipeBand is a newer and solely permie account, which is where Wealthier would eventually stay. All 4 of my accounts have lab map access and so play host to many fosters, but EmmathePiper is my main and also has three permies on there too. More about them later though ^^
I have been hacked into rather recently, as you know, I'm making progress in getting my sides back and got access to Pipe Band again earlier this week. The others are a work in progress! (Please work and make progress TNT XD). Wealthier would stay on PipeBand with Nezala and Caeik; it's the second permie account I never thought I'd need!
On Neopets I spend most of my time playing games really, because I need the neopoints! There are some days when I just can't be bothered with them; but I'm usually doing something semi-productive like clearing my excessive SDB or being on the TNO board.I don't feed my Neopets daily as it's easier to have them stay in the Neolodge and makes them happy. I also do other simple things to keep them healthy and happy like keeping them smiling with toys and a little bit of grooming; frequent trips to the Healing Springs when the Snowager bites, and having the occasional trip out to the wilds of Neopia. I don't tend to train any of my permies a huge amount simply because I don't battle; but if there's free training going then I'm of course game! They've all read a fair amount of books, (Piob being my biggest read) and Wealthier could look forward to accessing my library as well so he can prove he's the wise wizard that he claims to be.

Wealthier the Wizard
Let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Wealthier is loosely based off the Harry Potter character Dumbledore. He's similar in age (i.e. Very old!), look and personality.
First, Wealthier will need the wizarding look, as prescribed in the latest issue of Witch Weekly. His beard and glasses give that wise look, which along with a library setting and book/quill really give off the aura that he is quite at home in his own office. In the very long term future I may splash out on a Conundrum Wizard Hat for him; although my hope at the moment is for TNT to release a similarly spiffy looking wizard hat at a fraction of the price! (or maybe even NC). I have enough NC stocked up to last me a good bit and spoil my pets for a while yet.
To match his wise old wizard look, Wealthier would read a good handful of books. I think that once Piob has read a good few hundred more I'll begin to concentrate on Wealthier's intelligence - though we'll of course have a trip to the library when he comes home.
Wealthier would join the ranks of the best wizards, with an owl to carry all his very important letters. He differs from pet choice to Dumbledore here as I don't like Phoenixes very much, and the one similar looking petpet is crazy expensive! So; Wealthier would have his own Brown or White (haven't quite decided yet - I'd prefer to see him with the background and clothes and stuff before I decide) Weewoo called Luna. He needs some femninity in his life whilst his unknown-as-yet partner is still travelling those distant lands
Lastly I'll explain a little about Wealthier's personality. It follows Dumbledore's very caring, helpful and grandfather-like ways of Harry Potter - but excludes all those parts where he's a little nasty or does the annoying thing where he doesn't tell people what they need to know! Wealthier's only flaw is being a bit too wise - so much so he can take a conversation to a level only he can follow! He also loses his glasses rather a lot, but with practice is learning they're usually right there on his head.
*Random note! I totally had the urge to call his petpet Hagrid. But I can't really see a weewoo living up to his brutal name XD*

The Piper Family
Don't count your owls before they are delivered

I currently have five other permies; and to be honest I thought 5 was the maximum I was ever going to have. I actually started with the mindset of only having one permie, but each of the other 4 have slowly creeped up on me and taken me into their grip too!

Piob: Piob was created when I first came back from hiatus in October 2007 and was my only planned permie. His name is "bagpipes" in Gaelic and I searched for ages to find the perfect species/colour for him. Eventually I stumbled across the Mara Shoyru and though unrelated, thought it suited the name. At Christmas of that year I got my wish granted in Sherrie and Swoope's Christmas Wish on TNO; and he was painted not long after. He reads an awful lot and I just love how unique he is ^^

Multipli :"Ever had one of those moments where you just can't seem to close the tab? That's what happened to me when I saw that Spoon was fostering Mult out (which, by the way, is similar to what happened with Wealthier). After writing a short application she came over to my family and has been settled in that lovely coral environment ever since. Mult's main feature is her involvement in my running Lucky Numbers and I think it's so lovely that she gets her name out there that way.

Etieynne: When I was on Neo WAY back in the day, I dreamed and dreamed of turning my pet Curam into a Faerie Poogle. It was an endless task to save up as the more I saved the more the potion rose. Just as I was about 200k away came the time I had to leave and I distributed my money amongst many TNOers and Beanie took my pets as fosters. I never really thought of getting a Faerie Poogle when I came back; it definitely didn't suit Piob. Therefore, when Credo came back and needed pets taken I happened upon Eti and things clicked. That's her story really; she's been the Queen of all my customisation fun since the other two are rather awkward about clothes! XD

Caeik: Another tab closing moment to put it simply! Caeik was one of Janine's fosters, and she showed me the zap. I actually hadn't seen a Mara Blum before, can you believe it, and my aquatic pet vibe got excited. I let it rest for an evening, but by bedtime I was still resisting giving up looking at his lookup. After days (ages XD) of to-ing and fro-ing and moaning at Janine I decided that Cae definitely belonged in my neofamily ♥

Nezala: Nezala was a foster of mine who just refused to be zapped into a fosterable colour/species in a good number of months. I think the fact that she was on my main account and constantly my active neopet made a big difference, so when Cae was going to join the family (on my pipeband account) I knew he needed a friend over there to keep him company. Again with much thought sharing with Janine it was decided that Nez was to stay, and be transformed into the gorgeous Faerie Draik she is today. I love the look; the colours and gentleness of the frame really suit Nez's girly personality. She was morphed AND painted with birthday presents from Janine and Lily and I love her to bits ^^

Convincing Time
It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.

I suppose this section is in here just to summarise the main reasons I think I'd be perfect for Wealthier's new owner. I'm not the most well-known, richest or talented Neopian by far; but I'm dedicated. Neopets is something I really have grown up with and I love it. I'm not ashamed to say that if TNO wasn't part of my Neo life I don't think I'd still be here, but it is and remains as the biggest part of my life. My Neopets personalities are very varied and Wealthier opens up a whole new side of that for me. He'd be welcomed into a home where I did actually care about his welfare – an honest home where he could stay forever. I'm also a very familiar person with you so you'd see Wealthier in his new home constantly and there'd be no chance of losing touch. I love it when I hear about my fosters and you will in real time over at TNO.
Wealthier's personality is a new and exciting venture for me and although it isn't totally refined at the moment it's a work in progress with this application being the first step (well, maybe first few steps XD) on the journey. I enjoy Neopets; and I'd enjoy bringing Wealthier home ♥ However, I know just how hard this decision will be for you Caroline, and I truly wish that Wealthier would go to the best home, be it me or someone else.

Lookup
Emma is modelling the layout of Wealthier's lookup. As you can see the content isn't totally finished, but it'd follow the lines of my other pet's lookups with a picture, gaelic phrase (thinking something magical of course!) and a small section to simply describe Wealthier's way of life.
Wealthier's petpage is undecided, but will probably be based off the layout of this app and have some of his personality and things about him. My other pet's petpages are a long time work in progress because I seem to always get distracted. I was aiming to get Multipli's done before Uni but my account stoppage put that to a halt. I suppose it's always good to have something to work on.

Artwork
These stunning pictures were drawn by the fabulous TNOers, Rejenerated, Puck and Vi respectively. Thank you to all three of them for caputuring Wealthier so perfectly! (Drag to Browser bar to see full size). These picutres will be used on rotation on Wealthier's lookup; depending on what wizarding dress he's wearing.

Adoptables
Some of my pets have adoptables included in their lookups, and this one is (almost!) perfect for Wealthier ♥ We just have to pretend that the sparkler is actually a wand, and he really just put on his crown instead of his hat in the morning XD

Recommendations

Janine:
I'm sure you already know how amazing Emma is Caroline, but I'm here just to reinforce that. She's a fantastic friend to me, but not only that, she's a fabulous pet owner. Her pets are all wonderfully looked after, with lovely developed personalities and they're utterly spoilt as well! I myself adopted out a foster of mine, Caeik the mara blumaroo to her recently and couldn't be happier with my choice of owner. Caeik has the best owner he could ever have, though thanks to TNT he's currently in hibernation (soon to come out I'm certain of it!) I can't think of anyone better to adopt Wealthier, I know he'd have the perfect home with Emma's family. And if you need any more persuading, his character is based off DUMBLEDORE. DUMBLEDORE!

Terra:
Caroline - When Emma asked me to write this I did think it a bit unfair since I'm so terrably biased towards her. I've known Emma for ages and ages and I really cannot think of a more friendly, fun and lovely girl to adopt Wealthier. As a fellow foster parent, I know how much goes into a foster. The caring dedication, the work, the time and finally sifting through application after application to find *the* owner. Honestly I can say without a doubt that Emma is that owner. You won't find better taken care of pets anywhere. Emma is on almost daily and is a smart, wonderful owner. A pet really could not want anyone better to lavish them with attention and love. I have the wonderful privilege to call Emma one of my best friends in the world (literally, since we live on different continents) and I think you could be proud to call her Wealthier's new owner. Hi! My name is GetxthexPoint (Sherrie), and I am a friend of EmmathePiper. I understand that she is applying for Wealthier, and so I wanted to write a recommendation for her. To be honest, I normally don't write recommendations for people because there aren't as many people that I feel like I know well enough to write a recommendation for. However, I've known Emma for years (literally) on Neopets, and I can't think of a better Neopian. I first met Emma through our guild the Official Neopian Orphanage, where she is now actually a council member. She's been easily one of the sweetest, most dedicated members in TNO bar none. She spends so much time devoting her energies both to the guild and to her foster pets that you wouldn't think she'd have much time for her own permies. But she does, especially because she's so selective about what pets she has for permies. She only has 5 (hopefully soon to be 6) permies and she's devoted to all of them. There are so many people on Neopets who just collect pets and do nothing with them. But that's one of the things I admire the most about Emma. She's very careful to plan out each addition to her family and make sure that each pet is loved and has a very well-defined personality and place in her neo-family. Her pets are even well-known as characters within our guild itself. She also makes sure they all have custom lookups and petpages and are clearly well cared for. There's not much in these silly neomails, but let me just say that Emma is one of my best friends and easily one of the most caring Neopians I know.
