~The Dark Road~
Meridell was a great place to shop for some old timey food. But it was also the great place to scout for Draik Eggs that had fallen to the ground, whether somebody accidentally dropped it or someone had forgotten they left it there. You wouldn't just take it for your own selfish needs, would you? Naawww, you wouldn't. Instead, you were doing something else, something a nice person would do. Like, oh I don't know, help Illusen with one of her quests. Yeah, that's it! In fact, she just asked you to get some Fresh Bogberries for her. Hmm... Let's not question why she'd want those. Anyways, you started to wonder where you could get Bogberries. Hey, why not check the Shop Wizard? Yeah, about that. They're pretty pricy, and you only had enough to afford omelettes. Well, might as well get them the hard way, right? You started walking around, asking each neopet you saw,

Excuse me, do you know where I can find some Fresh Bogberries?
Hey, I'm doing a quest and need some Bogberries.
Can you help me Miss?
I'll help you... Said an old looking Quiggle. Listen here, and listen closely. See that forest that the Glade is right next to? Deep inside, are the berries you are looking for. Just follow the path, do not take your eyes off the path. I should know, I've been in there many times before. But I repeat, do NOT take your eyes off the path, or you WILL get lost!

What a strange Quiggle. But you still thanked him for the help and headed for the forest. But what you didn't know, is that right after you disappeared from site, the old quiggle morphed into a creature. A creature with dark red eyes and piercing gold pupils...

ARGH, why so much for just a few berries?! Here you are, stomping around the dark, wet forest grounds. Path? What path, there was nothing here! SPLAT! Oh great, you stepped into a marsh. As you tried to yank your foot out without losing your shoe, you felt something watching you. Turning your head, you saw something glowing nearby. It was a light blue diamond, and it was moving. Closer and closer, you were able to see what it was.
It was a very dark blue gelert that had light blue diamond markings on its forehead and hind legs. Its forelegs had a fiery design on them, not to mention fire itself was burning on both fore and back legs. But thanks to the wet forest grounds, nothing it catching on fire. The gelert's tail was yellow from mid-way to the tip, and some yellow beneath its light blue eyes. From under its jaw to its belly was white, the tip of its ears were orange. Few grey stripes were on its back and on its muzzle. Instead of paws, it was just huge claws. Floating right above its back were a pair of light rainbow colored wings. It wore a long orange bandanna on its head and an orangey bow on its tail.

Do you need help getting out? It spoke in a soft voice. From the sounds of it, it was a girl.

The gelert held her tail out for you to hold onto, and was able to pull you free. Your show was almost off though, but at least it didn't get lost in the marsh.

Staring at you like you were mad, the gelert said, I'm sorry, but no such berries exist in this forest.
What?! But an old Quiggle told me he's been here many times before! You began to explain what the quiggle looked like.
I'm sorry, but no Quiggle with that description has come here. The gelert said. I'm afraid you've been tricked.

You whined out loudly. Why would someone be so cruel enough to make you get lost on purpose? How are you going to explain this all to Illusen? You told the gelert about your problem so she could understand why you're upset.

And now I'm completely lost! You complained.
I see. She said, then smiled. No worries, I know the way out. As for Illusen, she won't believe your story if there's no one else to help back you up, hmm?

The forest seemed much more prettier if you payed attention to all the details. In fact, it was so calm and beautiful, even the marshes looked nice. Sunlight entered through the trees at just the right places, making everything have their own glow. As you followed the gelert, you couldn't help but ask,

How did you find this place?
It's a long story. Wanda replied. Well, not exactly, but it wouldn't make sense if I don't tell you in full details.

But it already sounds interesting.

Of coarse. Wanda replied. Even though they're a strange bunch, but they're still my family.

Younger Brother Oh yes, Zack is my younger brother. He was so sweet and innocent, but thanks to him, he's now everything BUT sweet and innocent! I miss having the little guy around, I miss his high squeaky laughter... I remember him saying, Even if it doesn't look like it, everyone has some good in them. Right?

Sister Ahh, Vranica. She was the quiet one of us, but even if she acted cold, I knew she had a warm heart. Otherwise she wouldn't bother trying to protect the family at all. I remember, she ran off to fight him. I remember making a promise to her, If you don't come back, I promise I'll do whatever it takes to defeat him for you. Later, right before my very eyes, she was defeated, and gone.

Adopted Brother, AKA Him I can't even say his name without crying... He was once a nice little xweetok. A poor, humble fellow. But ever since he gained all that power, he's changed. He thinks he's all high and mighty, all who defies him are no more. One day, I wish I can stop him, and clear the dark storm that is controlling his mind. But I'm afraid that day is not soon...

As you walked, you heard another set of squishy sounds, it sounded like something else was walking nearby. Something... Small? You looked around, and finally spotted something. It was a Cloud Gruslen.


So there you are, Weather. Wanda laughed as the little petpet happily caught up with her. I told you not to leave my side! Oh, guest, this is Weather, my Gruslen. She's been with me for a long while now, so long I lost count. She has developed some powers of her own over the years, now as her name suggests, she controls the weather. Although, she's not very strong though. So she can only control the weather inside the forest. We both thought the forest looked pretty if it stayed dark.
Well you two thought right. You chuckled as Weather looked up at you with her small blue eyes.
