Now this page probably has your attention. You may be wondering what the heck is this. Well, allow me to explain.

One thing I've noticed is that in the Pokemon games, the gym leaders aren't all that challenging. So, I have decided to try a Gym Leader idea using WiFi, where there are 8 people designated as Gym Leaders, and if you defeat them, you get a badge.

NOTE: Gym League has not started yet. It will start on August 1st, that way the gym leaders should have plenty of time to get their Pokemon ready.

Format: Level 100 Modified Single Battle
That means that all Pokemon involved will be at level 100. What do I mean by modified? When you go to the WiFi Center at the Pokemon Center basement in Diamond and Pearl, you are able to connect to other people, yes? Well for the battles, you select "Single," and then "Level 100." That automatically puts your Pokemon at level 100 for the duration of the battle. It will not affect the attacks you have on your Pokemon.

Now of course, there are going to be rules to keep this fair and somewhat challenging.

Rules

General rules/notes:
1 - This will be done using the friend codes for Diamond and Pearl.
2 - Both participants in the battle must notify me as to who the victor is via Neomail. If one fails to respond, or if there is a difference in answers, the battle will not count towards a badge.
3 - If any Pokemon is discovered to be a hacked Pokemon, then the one using it is automatically disqualified. If the person is a gym leader, they lose their status.

Rules for Gym Leaders:
1 - Gym leaders may only use 1 type of Pokemon (Dual-type Pokemon are okay, as long as one type fits the theme)
2 - Gym leaders may not switch Pokemon out
3 - Gym leaders may not have items on their Pokemon
4 - Gym leaders may not use any legendary Pokemon
5 - Gym leaders must use at least 1 basic Pokemon that cannot evolve
6 - Gym leaders may not have more than 5 Pokemon on their team
7 - Gym leaders cannot use 2 or more of the same Pokemon

Rules for the Challengers:
1 - Challengers may not use any legendaries
2 - Challengers are limited to two of the same Pokemon
3 - No two Pokemon may be holding the same item
4 - Please tell me which Pokemon the Gym Leader used. This is to help make sure their team is consistent with all battles. I have a list of their Pokemon.
