Sure, sure, Plushie Brain has Al's FAQs, and that's all well and good. But I've been with Al longer than any of her other pets, so I've got the inside scoop on everything and everyone.

We'll start, of course, with my favorite subject: me! I'm Vyksa, but you can call me Vyx. I'm a Darigan Eyrie really, but Al wants me to be a strong battle pet, too, so she's been subjecting me to the lab ray for years. I get to fight in all the plots and wars and stuff, too.

As the HNIC (Head Neopet In Charge), I keep the order -- I make sure Pendwyr isn't getting into trouble without me, make sure Shadeen isn't eating everything Al brings home, make sure Al spends enough time with me. I'm the reader around here, much smarter than plushie brain. Oo, and I'm the gourmet food eater, but I haven't eaten very much. I'm always in the neoLodge, and cockroaches don't count as gourmet.

I have been very lax about keeping up with my bouts in the Secret Laboratory. But since I'm taking over my very own page again, I'm going to start keeping track again of what the Lab has done to me.

Let's just say that Al has a weakness for pet names and for writing. Combine the two, and she's got five accounts with 19 permanent pets, and most have their own petpage. The ones that don't yet... just give Al some more time, and I'm sure she'll think of something else to write about.

I dunno what Al was thinking when she brought this one home. The new kid was okay at first; a little slow to catch on, but that's to be expected when you're around such a razor-sharp wit as mine. The Fountain Faerie visited one day, though, and the poor thing's brain got turned Plushie, too. Any trouble I get in, I blame on squarely on Pendwyr. Al's letting her take care of the FAQs -- are you nuts, Al?

Petpage: Alatyr's FAQ

I think Al brought Shadeen home to provide an intermediary between me and Pendwyr, someone who could keep up with me and yet who would also feel pity for the Plushie Brain. Shadeen's perfect for the role because she's so darn nice. Al has a slightly unhealthy obsession with Draiks (probably because they breathe fire, and Al's a bit of a pyro), and when the Fountain Faerie came calling again, she morphed Shadeen and painted her Faerie. While Plushie Brain got squishier, Shadeen just got nicer.

Well, someone has to be in charge of Al's first gallery. Marchegai knows everything about Quests and all the Faeries. Al actually made the gallery when she was on her first Fountain Faerie quest for Plushie Brain and so couldn't use the Shop Wizard, and she made Marchegai's page first and about Quests since Al was helping out on the Quest Board a lot.

Cryon's my buddy. He knows so many ways to make NPs, it'll make your head spin (and your bank account fill up!). None too shabby, either, with his fierce draik-ness. Al actually made his page as an afterthought, as a place to refer people to when they complained that their Quests were too expensive, and now it's her Number 1 page! Cryon doesn't mind, though.

Kalen joined Marchegai and Cryon on Al's gallery. The Fountain Faerie turned him Plushie, too, but thankfully spared his brain. He helps out Newbies and people with questions about Neopets, so it wouldn't do if he couldn't think straight. Al seems to spend a lot of time working on his petpage recently. Hmm, I should probably do something about that; I'm sure that means she's neglecting me somehow.

Petpage: The Neopets' Q & A

Drake tends to use big words and to bite off large projects. He's been working on writing a petpage about the Rules of Neopia for years now, but it's still a bit of a jumble. When Al goes to talk to him about updating it, he uses a bunch of big words that even befuddle her, and then she runs away to play Sahkmet Solitaire for a few hours.

Nell's on Al's fun-with-the-Lab-Ray account. Poor thing. They're a nice bunch, but a little weird. *shudder* I mean, I guess that's what happens when you never know what your roommate is going to be tomorrow. And yet Al chose Nell to host a petpage about "Life Lessons" (for Al's mythical "real world") that Al claims she's learned here in Neopia.

Daphne was unwittingly named after one of Al's friends here in Neopia. Over there on Al's fun-with-the-Lab-Ray account, she got turned into a clove of garlic! Thank goodness Al doesn't visit over there too much, else our whole neoHome would start to smell like Daphne. I think Al felt sorry for the garlic, though, since she gave her a subset of Cryon's page, a more in-depth look at Restocking.

Poor Pat -- he was a majestic fire Kougra, but Al kept zapping him, and now he's a sad brown Blumaroo. He still holds out hope of being zapped back, though, so he decorates his room and petpage with pictures of himself in his prime. Al lets Pat maintain her list of HTML messes, er, tips, the things that she's done to all of our petpages.

As if one brown pet wasn't enough, the Lab Ray on Al's side account turned Rody into a brown Meerca. Unlike Pat, though, Rody has no fond memories of brilliant colors to look back on. Instead, he tries to act more mature than the rest of us. So Al put her essay about Adults on Neopets on his petpage.

Xi just visited us recently, right after the Fountain Faerie paid Al another visit. Looks like Al might have another gallery obsession... Xi's been helping Al out on the Boards for a while now; his petpage lists calm and rational answers to some of the most persistent, frequently-asked, and/or annoying topics that Al encounters on the boards.

Nalenyr's a smart one, like Marchegai and Shadeen. She does that wise "smile and nod" thing whenever I say something brilliant. What's not to like about that? Nalenyr maintains a petpage about side accounts, which is a logical choice since she's actually on one of Al's side accounts.

With Xi, Wentiko was here just a while ago after yet another Fountain Faerie visit. But whenever I asked the guys to come fight in the Battledome with me, they always said they had their own methods of training. Wentiko trains by meditating on a rock in a warm patch of sunlight. It kinda always looks to me like he's asleep, but he tells me not to question the method. Wentiko lets Al use his page to talk about how to write on the interwebs.

I think Al may have finally found someone as sweet and lovable as I am. Ameryne is always so nice, even to Plushie Brain. And she's a good cook! Ameryne is so patient, too; she follows Al around and waits until Al finds a new pet name (which she can't use now because there are too many of us), and then she writes it down on her petpage.

Canderil is the lone pet without any information on his petpage. Poor guy. He always smiles, though, showing all those big sharp scary teeth and tells Al that he understands, that she's busy. And then I imagine that he goes off to cry somewhere quiet. I mean, how would you feel if you belonged with a petpage addict, but she didn't make a page for you?

Deulwyn is perfectly suited for her petpage -- a big scary red Jetsam. Deulwyn carries the burden of caring for Al's start at a Battledome Guide. I contribute a lot to that guide, and Al uses me a guinea pig for some of her theories. Not that I ever need to read it myself, though, as I'm a perfect physical specimen and a master tactician.

Kahn came to us when Al realized that the good king in one of her video games was not yet claimed as a pet name. The good king is also "The White Flame," hence Kahn's creation as a dim-witted -- but white -- Grundo. He gets along well with Plushie Brain. And somehow he has managed to keep up with Al's neoDictionary on his petpage.

Virisken is often off training with Xi and Wentiko. While he's off, Al uses his petpage to post her screenies. Virisken doesn't seem to mind, even though Al never really bothers to organize them or make them funny.
