You were told that the shops in Altador were all having a discount, 50% off everything. Good deal, right? Oh yeah! But only if you had this sort of strange token to use as a coupon. In fact, you have said token, thanks to a random gifter. Now, you just need to get down from the Shenkuu mountains and you're all set! As you were about to sprint down the long path, you were stopped short, thanks to a large crowd of other owners who heard of the discounts. At this rate, you won't make it in time! As you twitch and grumble in frustration, you hastily look around and sprinted off to find some other short cut. There was a very rocky road on the side of the mountain that leads to smaller, shorter mountains, but hey. At least it gets you down.
As you ran carelessly, you seem to have slipped on a very slippery rock, causing you so painfully roll down the mountain. No worries, it wasn't a really long fall, it was only a couple scrapes and bruises. Groaning and clinging onto your injuries, you slowly got up, only to realize you were on a mountain you've never really saw before. Then again, all the mountains surrounding Shenkuu look the same. But this one seemed different. It had a very strange atmosphere, it felt like someone else was there with you, other than some weird petpet nearby. You shrugged the feeling off and noticed the sunset. Oh no, now you're REALLY going to miss the sales. Darn it! You spent all that time for nothing! As you continued to complain and whine about your day, you didn't seem to notice that the area around you had begin to change a bit. The token you had in your inventory began to glow brightly. After a few minutes, you finally noticed the place had a glowing purple tint to it. Not to mention a very faint figure was beginning to appear in the distance. Was it a ghost? You squinted your eyes, hoping it'd help a bit. The figure, it was becoming more solid every second. Finally, you were able to see it.

It was a lupe.

It looked like its color was darigan since it had the colors of a darigan lupe, but this one looked slightly different. Its wings seem more bat-like, and it had two tails. One of its tails had a thorny string clinging around it. The lupe had violet blue hair that curves forward from its right shoulder. Red markings were on its hind legs, grey stripes were on the back of its ears, under its eyes, and in front of her hind legs. On its forelegs looked like black sleeves, held in place by white bandages. A chain is seen around its right hind leg. And on its neck, was a grey leather collar with a pink heart charm attached. And from the looks of it, you think it's a girl.
The lupe slowly opens her eyes, they were completely red.

Hold on... You plaused for a bit. ... Why were you sealed in the first place?
It was as if an invisible arrow had peirced her when you asked the question.

I see... You continued to stare. If that was you back then... How about now?

You hear a small slithering sound. It was that same petpet from before, it finally came out of hiding. It looked... Happy? The petpet quickly went up to Vranica, holding its arms out as if it was asking for a hug. The lupe picked the petpet up and held it in her arms, was she crying?

It's been nice meeting you, Vranica. You said as you began to turn around.
