Voget

Prologue

Crying to the moon...

You tremble in your bed, alone, afraid, the sky dark save for the stars. You run a hand through your hair and try and relax. And before you can get too afraid a soothing feeling washes over you as the moon raises high in the sky. Your eyes flutter and soon you find yourself fast asleep.

You never realized how vital the moon was to your routine, to the world's routine until now. You sleep peacefully fears calmed by the presence of the giant rock.

Little did you know that the day and night, the moon and the sun, the little things that happen around the planet couldn't happen without the deities.

And the certain deity you'd been taking for granted was Voget. The man of the moon. He was tall, thin, but unlike other deities he wasn't ethereal in the common sense of the word. He was plain if it wasn't for his pitch black eyes, the eyes that couldn't see, and the eye that could see holding his flowing cape tight around his shoulders.

He'd been around since the beginning of the planet, working his hardest to keep the world moving, the planet spinning and the moon moving around. He rested very minimally because really. You can't do much as the god of the moon.

Section 1

Lonely, that was one word he'd use to describe his current state. Lonely. He hadn't communicated with another being in decades. It was slowly taking a toll on him, he wasn't as strong as he should be, he was slacking with raising the moon. And that's why it was a decent thing when he quite literally ran into her

She was wispy, her form shifting and mingling, she was more opaque then transparent but very, very real. Lumioa she controlled the colours of the sky. He found it amusing that they'd been working together for so long and this was the first time they'd ever known of each other's existence.

He happened into her on a cool morning. Fumbling on the horizon to lower the moon who was being stubborn as ever when she knocked into him, large eyes blinking in confusion. It was without a word that her palms covered his, helping amp him up with the energy and power he needed. They shared the moment as the moon slide away to go to the skies it belonged in.

Lonely. That's what she told him. She'd been lonely, trying her best to keep the colours changing and the air warm and cool, and hot, and cold, her own powers had grown weak in solitude but the powers that radiated between the two of them was enough to help them recover. Slowly but they'd be back to how they were in the first thousand years.

But neither of them knew what they were doing. They didn't know how to work a friendship, it'd been so long, but if they could work the world over in their paws they knew they could at least try and work a friendship over.
