The Web of Fate controls all in the world. All are bound to its will, its design. Some can see it, others can even change it, but no matter what, none can escape it.
It has long been debated whether things happen for a reason or if they are random happenstance. Well, there is finally an answer: things that happen are dictated by Fate. Fate isn't some abstract idea in this case. Fate is a person; a person who spends her days weaving a Web for every person alive. She is the puppeteer that controls everyone and everything. Some believe her to be cruel, holding power over everyone and bending them to her design, but others believe she is a devine figure. Her Web wraps around all and for some, Fate is very unkind. Fate's will can be seen by some and even altered by others, but her Web can never be escaped. She is the only constant, but there are some who wish to overthrow her and break her Web; assuming that with the absense of Fate, they can live lives according to their own will instead of hers. But can Fate be overcome; and if she can, would you like the result?
The Outcast has been torn from herself by Fate. Her emotions have manifested into a separate being and she is helpless against her will. They look exactly the same but the new being is wild and uncontrollable. The Outcast reclused herself, afraid of what her other half might do. Fate has turned a performer into a lost soul.
An Outcast's Origins:
Young Vocaloiids grew up always singing and dancing. She attended every class and show she could, wanting to be on stage and perform for everyone to see. Her heart danced when she sang and she wanted everyone to feel as happy listening to her sing as she did singing for them. She attended a performing arts school and learned what it meant to be a performer. Her determination only increased as she worked hard to make her dream come true. When she did her first show she felt more alive than ever before, her heart racing. However, she felt an edge in her mind, something strange pulling her in another direction, pulling her happiness away. What did Fate want from her? She continued to perform, gaining popularity and fame. She always ended every show feeling elated but as soon as she was alone, her mind wandered. She felt angry and resentful. She would shake it off and put on a smile but as time went on, the other side of her only grew. When she looked in the mirror she could barely recognize herself. Who is this who looks like me? Then finally, she broke, her second side coming out, all the negativity surfacing and giving life to her. What is happening?!
