It's a brisk, chilly day. The woods are alive like they only are in autumn; the leaves above you are a rainbow of colours, red and orange and brown,
and small creatures are chirping in the breeze and rustling in the undergrowth. It's the kind of day that makes you want to dig out your
knitted sweater and go out for a walk. Which, in fact, is exactly what you did.
Now, however, the sun is sinking behind the trees and shadows are coming out. You realize that you are utterly and horribly lost. The forest outside Neopian Central goes on
for miles in all directions. Why, keep walking long enough and you'll end up in the Lost Desert!
You've come along to a fork in the path and you stop, contemplating your next move. Behind you, there's a loud rustling in the bushes. You turn around, heart beating a little
faster than normal and hoping it isn't some wild lupe pack.
A small face looks at you, dark eyes twinkling. "Lost, are we?" she says in a quiet voice.
Her tone isn't mocking, but you still scowl. "Yeah," you reply.
The face comes out from the bushes, along with a small body. The xweetok is covered in brown fur, and three green beads in her hair catch the light
and sparkle for a moment. "I'm Vitiyha," she says. "You aren't lost anymore. I know the woods here like nobody else." She turns around and scampers away. You
follow her.

Story
I don't like to talk much about my past, but stories are meant to be told. I was born on the island of Nailaesh. I doubt you've heard of it; not many have. It is, or at least was, the island where the first xweetok entered the world, many years ago. Nailaesh was not a large island, but it was large enough for my people, with many rivers and mountains and fields and towns. I was born in the port town of the Doss, on the west side of the island.
I was born one of a litter of five xweetoks. My parents named me Vitiyha, which means "listener" in one of our languages. My mama was a lovely lady-xweetok, beautiful and kind and strong. My papa was a gentle man and a wonderful story-teller. (I am no where near the story-teller that he was. He made us all laugh and cry with his stories.) The seven of us lived together overtop the bakery my parents owned.
My family soon learned that I was more than just a listener. I was a wanderer. I would spend hours wandering, exploring the forests and meadows near my town. I was never lost because I never had a place to be; I drifted. I wasn't lost, but I wasn't found, and I was alright with that. My mama would laugh, saying I shouldn't be a xweetok but rather a peophin or a flotsam, a creature that could drift and move in the currents of the water as I did on land.
But one day, I wandered into trouble. Normally I didn't go down by the docks often - they were so loud and hectic, and far too busy - but I ended up there one evening. My mama had warned me to be careful around the docks; she said there were sometimes bad people there. There were bad people there that evening, men who called me a pretty young thing and who covered my mouth so I couldn't scream and brought me onto their boat. Before I knew it, I was leaving my town and my family behind. I was scared.
There are bad men and women out there, bad owners who don't care about their pets. I was neglected and hurt, and I was scared because I was so far from everything I had known. I was lost; I had never been lost before. I'm not sure how I survived being lost.
But I was found. Eventually I found myself at the neopound and one day as I sat alone in the pound, helpless and unloved, I was spotted by a girl. She took me home with her. She told me that I wasn't going to live with her for long, but that she loved me and she would find someone who would love and care for me. She did find that person, a girl named Cinnamon. And it was Cinnamon who saved me, and took me home to her family, where I live now.
Miles to Go Before I Sleep
by Robert FrostWhose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it [strange]
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

My Family
Cinnamon is my caregiver. She lives in Brightval, but she moves around a lot because she takes care of between seven and fifteen pets at any given time, and so she often boards with these pets instead of staying at home. Many of these pets are foster pets who she finds new homes for, but others are her permanent pets.
Cinnamon adopted me from Snazz in March of 2006, and I've been living with her every since. I love her, and we always go for walks together in the forest because she knows I like doing that. :3 We do that quite often in the autumn when the trees are a mosaic of colours and the air has a bite to it, but isn't too chilly yet. She also bakes lots of yummy goodies, which is another thing I like about her. | |
 | Kioshna Stjärna Arenn is an apprentice at the Library of Faerieland. Her father lives in Faerieland with her, as he's an adviser to the Queen, but Kioshna's mother left when she was a young girl. Kioshna is a very bubbly, perky, outgoing girl, so many people are surprised to learn that she works in a Library. I was. We don't see each other very often, only at holidays and when Cinnamon makes the whole family get together. I avoid her then, though, because she's very loud and a bit annoying. |
| Estella Laila Stjärna is the Goddess of the Stars. She creates and destroys and moves the stars around the sky. Stella takes the humanity that people produce – the love, the hate, the passion, the desire, the fear, the hope – and turns them into glowing, pulsating stars. She spends her nights under the clear sky or flying above the clouds on dark nights or even dissolved in the very sky itself. In the day, she tends to hide, or even disappear altogether. She can tell the future in the stars, and sometimes we spend the night together in a clearing in the forest and she tells me stories and legends. | |

Sarah Aminora is a warrior lupess. She lives in Maraqua, protecting and guarding it as a member of King Kelpbeard's Royal Army. Sarah's lupe pack has lived in Maraqua for generations, since before the ruin of the first City of Maraqua. Her pack remained in the Ruins, protecting their abandoned city, and Sarah was trained to be a fierce warrior. As a pup, she prepared for the day where Maraqua would be restored, and she was joyous when that day came. Sarah is an independant, reckless, fierce lupess. She scares me a little, to be honest, but she's nice to me. |
| Garanthorneo is an angel. His true form is a Christmas Zafara, though he tends to shift his shape. He is a strong, mature, trusting individual. But his role as an angel pains him, for it is a role of great responsibility. He saves people; he brings them back from the brink of death and despair, and gives them another chance. He grants second chances. I love Garan. He is so comfortable to be around him. He makes me feel like I belong. | |
 | Mahikah is the owner and barista of Mahikah's Coffee Shop. She lives on top of her shop on 12th and Katcheek Avenue in Neopian Central, but she was born in a town between Meridell and Brightvale. We don't get along all that well; we have different ideas about life and love. She's older than me so she assumes that I don't know anything about the world, but that isn't true - just because I don't bring hardship upon myself doesn't mean I haven't experienced it. I feel bad for Mahi; she suffers from a terminal disease. I try not to get mad at her because of that, but she makes it difficult. Sometimes we get along fine though and she makes me tea or hot chocolate. |
| Kai I got my petpet right after I came to live with Cinnamon. Kai was just a baby miamouse then, but she's grown up a lot. Now she runs around the forest with me all the time. Every now and then she gets lost. Kai eats a lot of cheese and chocolate. She's a pretty picky eater. |
Adoptables
Oh, here are some adoptables that you can use. I'm afraid we haven't got every single xweetok colour yet, but we've got most of them. Cinnamon says that: You cannot remove my name and you must give me credit, preferably by linking back to this page!
replace "COLOURHERE" with the colour you want your xweetok to be! below are the xweetok colours we currently have, and just put your mouse over the image if you aren't sure what colour it is. ^__^
again, do not edit the pictures or remove my name as credit!

The End Darkness has fallen in the forest, and the sky is a deep blue above the trees. But the woods seem less wild and dense now, and your heart leaps when you realize that you're at the edge of the woods. You gaze back, looking to find the small xweetok who helped you find your way home. "Hey, thanks," you say. She smiles at you from where she sits in the shadows, then turns around and scurries off.
You watch her go, then turn around and start heading home, because the evening is cold and dark.
