Hi there!
Hey
What's up?
Welcome.

So.
Welcome to my pet hub page. This is the page where I ramble off about my swarm of buzz. It should be fun, there's many of them and they're all kinda cute. They're spread across five accounts - namely ophiaguin, also_ophiaguin, ophiaguin_too, imperialdawn, and teh_swarm.
Clicky clicky on pet images to zoom off to their pet lookups. The insignia to the right is the symbol for my Swarm as they exist in their own world.

Naming them off in the order they appear, we have:
Louis, Anjudas, Vinncynt, Vorren, Drecyn, Tsanyu, Swiftstryke, Estuvo, Anduvo, Electrascal, Qop, Arlendror, Kortumah, Tocias, Zuten, and Finaty. The two misfits on the bottom are Arien the Xweetok and Kukulen the Ruki.
You can scroll over the images for names if you're in a browser other than Firefox. Click for pet lookups. There's really not much of a particular reasoning to their order. Louis is on top because he is the leader. Estuvo and Anduvo insisted they get their own row because they are egotistical, pretentious, and would have thrown a manly fit otherwise.
So, what's the deal? Here's the general rundown. The Swarm enforce Neopian law, land, and guide business interests in a small portion of Neopia Central. Namely, the very northwest corner of it. Ever since mankind started losing their power over the REAL Neopia several years ago, groups of pets took it onto themselves to enforce law and order in Neopia's biggest, most populated, and most industrious city. These powerful groups are called the Underground and function very much like Lords over small provinces of land.
Their main jurisdiction is the "black" economy, compared to the "gold" economy. The black economy is run and proliferated by pets who have fallen from their owner's favor, "line of sight", or just exist independently in the real Neopia because they were actually born into it, not created. In comparison, the gold economy is mostly human-run and is well above the heads of 95% of pets who exist in the real Neopia. The trade value from the black economy to the gold economy is about 1000 to 1. So for a normal, unowned pet in Neopia Central or even Neopia in general to get their paws on something like a Draik Morphing Potion, worth 15 million gold neopoints would be unimaginable. Such a treasure would be worth 15,000,000,000 black neopoints. Needless to say, draiks and krawks in the real Neopia are insanely rare and usually insanely wealthy. Even being painted in the real Neopia is a privilege.
Anyway, yeah. That's the deal with that. Louis is the leader of the Swarm. He's actually 42 years old and a very serious little fella. He was just zapped by Boochi. Nothing like reliving your youth in the face of all your enemies?
All the other buzz are either his personal soldiers, like Electrascal, squadron leaders who enforce general law, like Drecyn, guardians, or have another use, like Vinncynt - who is a special pet with the ability to create machinery. He's like an engineer, except many things he creates don't pay any mind to things like physics. There exist only ten to fifteen such pets in the entire world and they are all VERY valuable. I ramble so much about him in particular only because, though he is the kindest buzz you could imagine, he makes the Swarm a very intimidating force to deal with.
For more about Neopia Central, I'd say go to Arien's petpage ... but I need to redo that page rather badly so. Don't go to that petpage. Not yet.

Hello, I'm Phia.
I don't have anything interesting to say at this point. I'm a silly person who draws an awful lot for someone who hates drawing. I like to sleep and I really love my pets.
I find it odd that the most common question I'm asked is 'So you like buzz?'. Are you serious?
OF COURSE I DO. They're my favorite pet!
Seriousface.
The larger explanation to this one can be long-winded and draining, but the basics of it are: they are anatomically interesting, socially interesting, unique, and I have a very easy and enjoyable time creating adventures with them. I'm not really any more partial to insects than most people. I do, however, like interesting creatures.

If you want to claim a pet is an arthropod, you'd have an easier time accusing ruki. Obvious external skeleton is obvious.
Eventually I'll have a petpage explaining all the crazy details and species facts I've mostly made up. It'll be fun. Yes it will.

I really don't know what I'm going to put here. I was thinking I'd insert some semi-detailed profile information ... maybe a couple of pictures ... but then I get lazy.
This may also be the space reserved for loads of adorable and highly exploitable adoptables and makeables.
Because buzz need more cute pixels.

IS THE CODING MY OWN?!
Well, not entirely, no. I took notes from Sunnyneo. It's a great place to go if you have questions or just want solutions.
ARE THE DRAWINGS MY OWN?!
Why yes. I drew every piece of art on this page. Thanks for your curiosity. -seriousface-
