Oh, hello, born_sinner.... what brings you here? The faeries of this forest give special blessings, so many come to visit this place.
A faerie gelert sits in the clearing by a pond, her lilac eyes gleaming in the moonlight. Her voice is quiet and gentle as she speaks to you.
If you'd like, I can tell you a tale while we wait for sunrise. Dawn is the faerie's favorite time to frolic; you'll have much more of a chance to ask for a blessing then.

The faerie gelert touches the water of the pond, making ripples that break the pond's reflection of the moon. So you want to know about me? My name is Victoreannas. I live here.
I didn't always live here, though. I was born in Meridell, raised there too. I wasn't very special - just a green gelert who liked playing in the mud, just like most kids in Meridell. But when I was still quite young I happened to meet a faerie.
Balthazar had chased that faerie from the Lost Desert all the way to Meridell. I found her, exhausted and nearly dead, among the roots of trees nearby my childhood home. Without thinking I brought her water and food. This helped her regain enough strength to speak with me, and we talked - about what she was, about Faerieland, about the world beyond Meridell. I was utterly fascinated by everything that beautiful faerie said.
Once the faerie was well enough, I took her home with me, in an effort to hide her from Balthazar. As you might have guessed, it didn't work. He found her and tried to capture her in one of his unholy jars.
I don't know how I chased him off. I don't even know why Balthazar ran away - a young gelert from Meridell just isn't very intimidating, you know? But
