Oh, hello evenangelsfalter! ^_^ My name is Verchielle and I'm going to guide you through the process of adopting Sammi's fosters. Come on! My Adoption Cloud is right this way! The Zafara flies from cloud to cloud with ease. You decide to follow her, carefully using the clouds as stepping stones and trying not to look down.

If only it was as easy as Verchielle makes it look... you think to yourself.

APPLYING

You may apply for my fosters in any way. Neomail and Petpages are the most common but feel free to do what you like. You could even paint a picture if you really wanted to.

I will not judge on whether or not you've made an extreme application and I'm not asking for those types of application. Do as you see fit. I'm not asking you to cater to my ego. ;) All I ask is that you include the Pledge of Good Ownership in your application (below).

The Pledge of Good Ownership

If I am chosen, I, (your name) , pledge to be the best owner I can be for my new Neopet, (pet's name) . I understand all the sadness that he/she has already been through, and so I will provide everything he/she needs to be happy. I promise to be a friend to my new Neopet and never ever ever put him/her through the pain of neglect or abandonment again.

YOUNG ACCOUNTS

You don't have to be an aged player to adopt my fosters. Newbies can make great owners too! ^_^
Just be aware that accounts younger than four months can only adopt pets painted the following colours:
Checkered, Blue, Brown, Glowing, Green, Invisible, Orange, Pink, Skunk, Purple, Red, Shadow, Silver, Speckled, White, Split and Yellow.
You may not adopt pets that are over level 2 and/or are a Limited Edition species (Chomby, Cybunny, Draik, Hissi, Jetsam, Kiko, Koi, Krawk, Poogle, Tonu).

HOWEVER, I am willing to hold the pet until your account is old enough to adopt the foster.

SENDING THE PET

I will ONLY send the pet to you via safe transfer as the Pound is too risky. Please make sure that your receiving transfer is free on the month of the foster's deadline.

PET TRADING

Please do not apply for my fosters just to transfer for a "better" or "rarer" pet. Only apply for the foster if you want to keep him/her forever.

USE YOUR INITIATIVE

I like Neomail applications just as much as Petpages. User your imagination. You don't have to be a coding wiz or a great artist. There are many ways to prove how much you want a pet. Use your brain.

DON'T MAKE FALSE PROMISES

It's all good and well you saying you will give my foster a nice Pet Lookup, Petpage, buy them a Petpet or enter him/her into a spotlight, but I will be checking up on you.
Display the Petpet you bought in a Gallery, make sure the pets you already own have nice lookups, and are happy and healthy. Actions speak louder than words. =p

BE FRIENDLY

I like making friends. Chat to me (read chat, not kiss up). Let me get to know you and your pets. Even if you aren't successful adopting one of my fosters, you may have gained a Neofriend for life. =)
