My Account was Hacked/Frozen
So my main account was hacked into this past weekend and disabled almost immediately after. Confident that it was disabled to protect it, I filled out a ticket with all required information and went through all the necessary motions of getting my account back to me. However, I became incredibly discouraged when I learned that the ticket response time can be up to months, if at all. I was very angry, and am still a bit angry, that my ticket has not even been looked into yet, but what can you do? I was going to quite Neopets all together, but I've decided that letting a hacker ruin a really nice pass time for me is ridiculous.
So I've decided to start fresh, more or less. Luckily I was able to salvage my side accounts, but I am going to use my newest and most bare side account (Flossets) to begin playing Neopets again. I know Neopets will eventually respond to my ticket, but until then, I am going to start all over again and enjoy rebuilding what was taken from me. Because the wait time can be up to many months, I am not going to stop playing until the account is returned to me. I'm still going to be updating my sites, creating pets (and characters and art for them) and doing the things I love doing best on Neo!
So I'm still here! :) And in rebuild mode ♥
