Higher and higher Rod08 dared to climb, still not one ray of sunshine. Puzzled by this, surronded by mist, I asked Rod08 what he thought. 'No sun, no problem' he replied 'I like this grey mist, surrounding us both, but do you think it'll ruin my fine coat? 'No was my misguded response, I'd no idea, not even one, I thought Rod08 was silly for his unfounded dread.

I asked if he was ready to go, to fly through the mist, all alone. 'Dad' he replied with a shake of his head, 'I'm still afraid, if you left me alone, I'd never be able to find my way home.' 'Oh my sweet pet, if you do not try, how will you ever learn to fly, alone, unafraid? I'll turn on a bright lil' light, that will be your guide, I'll be waiting right there, along with Aisukage, Erie_Indiana85 & Flareon__10.' Okay Rod08 replied with a sigh, 'I promise I'll not go so high that I cannot see the light you've left on for me

I left my handsome pet there alone, went back to Aisukage, Erie_Indiana85 & Flareon__10, to wait for his return. I wasn't there long, before my other pets Aisukage, Erie_Indiana85 & Flareon__10, came rushing along, yelling 'Eagle, oh do come see, something has happened to our handsome Uni'.

So out I went, what did I find standing at the door? Rod08 with a smile, that ran ear to ear, 'Dad look, will you look at me here?' Grabbing a light, the misty morn around us all, you'll never guess just what we found.

Rod08 had turned grey, from that strange misty flight, mane and tail still black, his coat was a glitter, from the tip of his nose to before his tale, a wonderful grey Uni stood proud and tall, 'I took a full tumble' Rod08 said to us four, 'found myself at first I had thought it was just this great mist, along with the moon that I couldn't quite see, not durring this gloom.

I confermied for Rod08 that truly indeed, a grey Uni he'd forever be. 'Come my dears, I said with a smile, 'lets go for a ride, we'll chat awhile.

To this day I'm not sure what happened, to turn Rod08 grey, but in my soul I like to wonder away, could it have been that grey misty morn that changed forever my new Uni's form?
