My name is Aurora, a.k.a. dizzy, and I run this small adoption agency with help from my real-life fiancé, Tyr, a.k.a. norse_topology, and my shadow xweetok, Varriyn, who generously offered the use of her petpage.
A Quick Word from Varriyn
Hey everyone! I'm Varriyn, the editor-slash-pet-in-charge around here. I was Aurora's second pet EVER way back when, and she's stuck by my side through thick and thin! I want to help her do for other pets what she did for me when I was stuck in the pound. I hope our fosters are to your liking!
What it's all about
I'm trying to help basic colored neopets find new homes: well named, badly named, unpopular species or whatever! I adopt pets from the pound and zap them until they change to a non-basic color, and they can be adopted or repounded. This page serves as my base camp and has all the information you might need. Check out the links to the left to find what you're looking for!
I belong to the Zapping Your Dream Pets guild. It is a wonderful places for people looking to zap pets to give away/adopt out, with a big community as support. I would highly recommend checking it out.

Please send all neomails to dizzyblackberry, otherwise you might not be answered! If you want me to contact you in case of a specific zap, get yourself on the ZYDP wishlist.

I will probably not be willing to adopt out basic LE's unless you want one for a specific reason-I'm zapping them BECAUSE they're LE's and harder to get a hold of.

Apply To Adopt
I DON'T have crazy standards for adopting a pet. If it's a popular or clothed color/species, then I will look for owners on the PC or my guild wishlist. I will not put insane amounts of time into finding the right owner. I still plan on releasing pets into the pound from time to time. Does that sound harsh? Yes. But I don't want to go through the agonizing process of finding an owner for a cheap color, and I don't want to catch myself begging the lab ray for a wanted color zap.
If you want to make an application:
-List all of your side accounts.
-What are your plans for this pet?
-What is special about this specific pet?
-Petpage or neomail is fine, if it's longer than two neomails please just put it on a blank petpage. You don't need to have any fancy formatting. PLEASE, if you make a petpage, DON'T put a disclaimer. It's here in black and white that petpages are not mandatory. If I like you and your accounts look good I might just skip the deadline and give you the pet right away, so put some thought into it. Wishers on the ZYDP wishlist may be exempt from applications.
