Heya! This is a quickly little FAQ page I put together. If you would be so kind as to read this before you Neomail me, I would be grateful! You see, I get so much Neomail that it takes a while to answer them all. So anything with an answer found here usually gets deleted to save time. Sorry!
If your question isn't answered here, feel free to ask me via Neomail! If I take a while to answer you, don't worry. When I'm in the site, I'm usually working, so time is scarce. Oh, also, I'm lazy. (If I have Neomail blocked, it's probably because I have way to much to answer. I'll unblock it again when I catch up on the current backlog.) :]

About the Job

Are you a Neopets Monitor?
No. I work for Neopets, but I'm not a monitor. Monitors are responsible for freezing and warning users, and generally keeping the site clean and safe. (They're very good at it, too!) I don't do any of that and I don't envy the tons of work those cookies have on their shoulders.
So what do you do at Nick Worlds?
I'm a creative director/FUN-gineer. Yaaaaaay!
What do you program design direct?
A game designer is a person who designs gameplay, conceiving and designing the rules and structures of a game. It is essentially the game equivalent to a screenwriter.I moved off of Neopets to work on new properties a couple years ago so I mainly help on Petpet Park and have been working on "Monkey World" and "World of Neopia" quite a bit. I'm starting to get back into Neopets now, though!
I direct the creative. It's just a boring way to say I'm in charge of making sure you're having fun. But if you don't like our awesome new content then I lied. I'm just the janitor.
Is that a real job or do you just work there for fun?
This question makes me giggle. :] Yes, it's a real job and I get paid to do it. There's a LOT of work to do here to make sure you frequently have something new to look at (every day, in the case of Neopets!), so I don't think they could get anyone to volunteer for this job. :P And if they did, that person wouldn't have time for a real job to earn money that's used for stuff like eating food and paying rent.
Do you get paid in Neopoints?
Haha. No.
How much do you get paid?
O_o. Erm, I'm not answering that. But yes, it's real money.
Do you get like free Neopoints or items or anything?
Nope. Not for personal use anyway. The accounts you see as "staff" are for testing or monitoring. If a staff member wants to actually play the site, they have another account to do so and they earn all their wares just like everyone else. :]
Can you freeze [username]?
Like I said, I'm not a monitor so I don't freeze people. If you're having a problem with someone, you can report them here.

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, give out your account info! Neostaff will NEVER ask for it, so anyone asking for it is a scammer and is trying to take your account/items. If you gave out your account info, go here to change it if you can. Then, report the user by filling out the abuse form here.

I'm sorry but I can't really give out any hints. A) You're supposed to solve it yourself. Asking for the answer isn't really doing any work. B) It wouldn't really be fair if I told you and not anyone else, now would it?

Okay... so what the heck is a snarkie?
The word "snarky" is sort of internet slang for sarcastic. From Urban Dictionary:

Ah, is he really? I feel bad for Sloth. Even though he's trying his best to take over Neopia and become Supreme Ruler, he fails miserably every time. I just want to give him a hug and help him find a better career for himself. I'm not supposed to say this, but he actually likes hugs. He just never listens when I suggest he find a new line of work. =/
So how do you make all your Neopoints?
Well, I play the games every day. Pyramids, Scarab 21, Meerca Chase and ZurroBall are some good ones. I also used to restock quite a bit. Usually with toys. I don't really have time so much any more. It's also good to find some popular items and search the wiz for a while until you find some really low-priced ones. You can sell those for a nice profit. It's called Wiz Stalking.
Would you join my guild?
No, thank you. :] Most people ask simply because they want a staff member in their guild, which is pretty silly. And those that actually want me to join for real will just be dissapointed to find that I'm boring and don't participate very much.

I'm sorry but the VSG is a guild for Neopets staff members only. Just a place for us to hang out. :] If I told you any more or sent an invite, I'd be slapped in the face with wet asparagus and forced to listen to Britney Spears and various boy bands while I work.

I'm a giant introvert, so I only Neofriend those folks I know in real life or those I've talked to quite a bit. So I don't accept random requests. Also, TONS of random people send me Neofriend requests and if I accepted everyone, my list would be really, hugely, bigly long... sorry.
