25.09.11 - Updated entire adoption page as I'm no longer quitting. Please ensure you remember that the Due date and Deadline for Valinsa's applicants has changed!
The Due date is now December 3rd 2011 and the Deadline is December 19th 2011.

Rules.

-If you create a petpage application, please state clearly that you were under no circumstance forced into making it.
-If you send your application via neomail and your application runs over into multiple neomails, please title your application the same as above and then number them. For example: (Application for Bunny_06 1.)
-Do not be rude to any other applicants, regardless to whether they are your 'competition' or not. I want this process to be fun and enjoyable for everybody.
-Do not send your application in before the due date on the pet your applying for otherwise I will ignore your application and you.
-Friends or former friends do not have an advantage, so do not ask. Sorry.
-Do NOT apply for ANY of my pets if you intend to trade them or change their colour. (For people applying specifically for Valinsa, do NOT apply if you intend to convert, zap, change gender, trade or change her in ANY way.)
-Only apply for any of my pets if they are a 'dream' pet of yours and you intend to keep them and cherish them.
-Pets are to only go to MAIN accounts. They will not and should not be left to rot on side accounts!
-Only apply if you have the transfer open in the month that the deadline is in, I will not pound my pet/s to you and I won't wait either.
-Also, please only apply if your account will be 6 months old in the month of the deadline. (I don't want my pet/s going to somebody who gets frozen every few months!
-Please list ALL of your accounts in your application.
-Please tell me if you have ever had any of your accounts frozen or suspended, if so why.
-No creepy neomails, kissing up to me. I'm very clever and can see people's true intentions. General chat I don't mind and would appreciate as I'd like to know the new owner of my pet. People neomailing me telling me how 'ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FAE IZ! CAN I GIVE YOUZ A FOOT MASSAGE PLZ!?' will be blocked. :)

FAQ Section

Before neomailing me with any questions, please check the rules and this section to see if I have already answered it, if not then please feel free to neomail me.

Q: Can I apply for more than one pet?
A: Yes, although I think apply for 2 or 3 is more than enough.

Q: You're quitting, can I have your account/items/pets etc?
A: No. I'd consider this as begging. *block* :3

Q: Can I change a pets colour/gender?
A: For the converted pets I wouldn't mind you changing the gender, but absolutely no colour changes or any other changes.
Of course I cannot reinforce this once the pet is yours and I've left but I'd be very sad if I ever came back and saw any of my pets drastically changed.

Q: Do I have to include art/writing/roleplay in my application?
A: Right, I am a lover of art and literature so to include pieces would be wonderful but you do not have to if it's not your thing. I'm not a fan of roleplay but if you intend to roleplay with the pet you're applying for, feel free to include some! :)
I love character and concept ideas and designs... infact I love anything creative so if it's relevant and you want to do it, include it! Be as elaborate as you wish!
If you don't want to include anything (in both neomail and petpage applications) then that is also fine. :)

Q: I intend to enter the pet into the beauty competition, is that ok?
A: That'd be wonderful. :)

Q: I am an artist/writer/coder... I intend to do all of these things but don't want to include them in my application, is that ok?
A: Uhm, yes and no. Yes because I can't force you into doing anything, however if you say you can and will do these things but don't want to show me, then prove to me that you already do it for your other pets. If you don't show me you do these things then I will not believe you, and I don't like liars.

Q: Can I trade my pet for one of yours?
A: No. My pets are UFA (Up For Adoption) not UFT (Up For Trade.)

Q: I'm rubbish at applications, please trade instead??
NO. If I traded I'd still have to get rid of the pet I traded for, I'm quitting afterall!

Q: Can I be a judge? :D
A: If you're interested in helping me judge applications and run boards then please neomail me. :)

Q: Can you check out/rate/look at my application before the deadline/due date?!
A: No. I will not be looking and I will not be giving any feedback until I've decided.

Q: When will I hear back from you about my application?
A: If you've followed everything I've said and asked - including sending your application in on the correct date (not before) then I will get back to you as soon as I have decided the new owner. Please do not harrass/beg me to hurry up otherwise I may block you and ignore your application.

Q: Will the petpet come with the pet?
A: Po, Valinsa's gallion will not be coming with her, sorry.

Q: I have an epic story in mind for the pet I'm applying, it's a million words long though... Do you mind?
A: While I'd love the fact that you're throwing yourself into a novel based on the pet, I don't think I'd have time to read all of it. :s
If you do intend to include a story of epic proportion then please put it on a seperate petpage- (even if you're doing a neomail app, slap your story on a blank petpage) -and include a few paragraphs of the best parts (or even a summary) in your app with a link to the full story. That way I can get an idea of it, rather than reading 100 different novel style stories about one pet. ;)

Q: What's your take on fanart?
A: Love it! I love seeing different styles of the character you designed... if people do fanart for you, please include credit where appropriate on your application.

Q: What's your screen resolution?
A: 1024x768 ;)

Q: Why does Valinsa have such a long time until her due date?
A: Because I want applicants to throw themselves into their applications and to come up with something that will blow my mind!
Also, I do not want applicants to feel rushed and under pressure. This also gives me a while to get to know people. :)

Q: What's the difference between the due date and the deadline?
A: The due date is the date where you can start sending your application/s in. Any received before the due date will be ignored.
(The due date varies between neomail apps and petpage apps.)
The deadline is the date where I will not be accepting anymore applications, therefore you must have sent your application in before then. Any received after this date will also be ignored.

Q: Do you prefer this kind of style of art/writing over this one?
A: I have my favourites, just like any creative being but that's irrelevant, I want you to do what you love doing and show off regardless of my taste!
