Intro
You row on your boat towards a beautiful island. You've been lost for a while and had finally found land. After you reached shore, you hopped off your boat and glanced around. The sand was soft and clean, unlike several beaches you've been to. A tropical rainforest lay in front of you, large with many different species of exotic flowers you've never even seen before.

Hello, I've never seen you around. Are you lost?" The voice behind you was sweet and gentle. You quickly turn around to find a beautiful faerie peophin behind you inside the ocean. She leaped out of the water, spreading her silvery-purple wings and then landing right in front of you, her mane waving majestically through the breeze and her soft lilac fur, short and silky. Her arched neck and dished face showed that she seemed to be a rare Arabian peophin.

You looked into her amethyst-colored eyes. The amethyst gems on her silver mask matched her eyes. "Yes, I'm lost. Who are you?" you ask her.

My name is Valerriah... but I prefer to be called Val. And this is my little friend, Pixie," she smiled and glanced at a small faerie peo sticking her head out of the water. "Welcome to my wonderful Paradise Island!" she whinnied.

Wow, it's beautiful!" you complimented. Val thanked you and beckoned you to a sheltered area near the rock pools.

Let's get you some rest. This is where I let visitors like you stay," she nickered. You and Val ambled over to the sheltered area and lay down on the cool sand.

You look like an interesting neopet. Were you born here? Do you have a caretaker? Any foals?" you ask.

One at a time!" Val smiled. She began to tell you about herself.

About Me
Okay... about me. Hmm... well, let's start off with my favorites.

I think the best type of foods are sweets. Personally, I like cotton candy the most... though I have large varieties of favorite goodies, including sugar cookies, cake, sweet pastries, bubblegum, smoothies, lollipops... you name it!

My favorite colors are pink and purple. White is also a wonderful color, no matter how colorless it actually is!

Oh, now how about a little about my family and home. This island isn't exactly my home... but I spend lots of time on it. The beach is very clean because no one ever litters here. In the center of the island is a dense tropical jungle. Many beautiful plants and exotic fruits can be found there. In the very center of the jungle is a large pool of crystal clean water and a small, though very pretty, waterfall. It's fun to go for a swim there. The ocean around here are usually very calm, though on windy days, it's fun to surf over the waves.

Now, my real home is with my caretaker, Alinda, and my mother, Thycorn.

Something pretty interesting about my mom is that she used to belong to Fyora, the Faerie Queen herself! Mom was Fyora's special peophin because she was one the only Arabian peophin Fyora had. Though when she was a juvenile, the Faerie Queen released her to the wild, where she met my mysterious dad, Comet. Dad rescued Mom from a pack of wild lupes. Mom joined Dad's herd, and later, Mom gave birth to my unknown brother, who now inherited the herd after our father's death. Dad died from a snowstorm after staying behind to fight off another pack of wild lupes that had attacked the herd when it was migrating on land to a warmer area. Sadly, after defeating the pack, the lone stallion was killed by the icy cold. I was born after my dad died, so I've never seen him before. My mom was pregnant with Datas and I while the herd was migrating. She left the herd afterwards and then Alinda found her, hungry and cold. Alinda cared for her until she was healed. She was free to leave whenever she liked, but she decided to stay. A few months, my Datas and I were born. I was the older of us two.

Anyway, now we live on a ranch-like area. Alinda leaves the doors and gates open for my mom and me to explore the wilderness as often as we please. My twin brother, Datas, used to live with us also, but then he left to search for our eldest brother. We know that our older brother owns his own herd, but we've never found his herd nor him. Datas always comes back once in a while to visit, though he is wild now... a bachelor stallion wandering around with a small band of other bachelors, until he settles with a nice mare soon.

Thycorn - This is my mother, Thycorn. Don't I have some striking resemblance to her? I even have feathered wings like her! I don't know what I'd ever do without her. She has always been by my side ever since I can remember... always getting me out of problems and helping me whenever she can. She's the best mom ever!

Wow, look at that... it's getting late already!" Val nickered. She glanced at the sky filled with beautiful splashes of orange, yellow, and a hint of pink.

Well, you should be on your way home now before it gets too dark," the mare gently nudged you towards your boat. "Just head to the northeast. That'll lead you to the shore of Mystery Island. Good bye and good luck!"

As you climbed aboard your boat, you took a glance back at the mare, thinking that this was the last time you could see her; but then, Val flew towards you and whinnied, "Wait! Before you leave, take this."

She turned her head to take an object out of a small, dull brown bag. In her mouth, she held a beautiful, gleaming seashell that changed into rainbow colors when flashed in the sunlight. At the end was an arrow shaped point. Val dropped the shell into your hands.

This is not any ordinary seashell. This shell will show you the way back to this island. This means that you are welcomed here anytime," she explained. "Just let it float atop calm water, and it'll point you towards my island."

It's beautiful. Thank you," you replied with gratitude. As you left her island, the mare cheerfully neighed, "Take care!" You rowed away from the sunset, and off to Mystery Island.
