Welcome to our webbie

Welcome to the webbie for the guild Virtual Magic Kingdom's Secrets and Codes 2! Our goal here is to help new or old players of the game VMK, become even better, offering expert assistance and the best VMKers. Just remember that we play the game, not create or help to design it in anyway, nor are we affiliated with VMK or Disney.

VMK is the #1 internet game out there. It bears several similarities to Habbo Hotel and was released as part of the 50th Year Celebration for Disneyworld. VMK is not only on the computer, but is also in the Disney Parks. When you're down there, be sure to do the VMK Quests and earn some really great prizes.

This guild was designed originally for providing help and free codes. Now, as the second guild, we go beyond that. We have expert players, great members, fun activities, awesome graphics, quest spoilers, free codes, weekly trades/auctions, and so much more. To join the fun, just click the Join Guild button and start experiencing the magic of VMK.

Guild info

Welcome to our guild. We are the biggest and best, VMK guild around. And we are growing everyday. We offer much in our guild such as VMK hints/tips, professional help, quest spoilers, news and updates, graphics, and more.

From the previous guild:
Want to know what our guild is about? Sure you do! Now that's the spirit. Our guild is about helping you with VMK. We have great codes and tips for getting credits and codes, quickly! For more information go to Secrets, Codes, and Tips located on the right. We have an active council (well now we do) and members that go on everyday. If you like VMK this is the guild for you. Not only does it offer a friendly community but you could have a chance to be on the council! Exciting, isn't it!? Every month the council will change or if a member on the council is not on in a week or longer they are automatically off the council so keep your eyes peeled. If you need any additional information about VMK or the guild feel free to neomail any council member.

We have great codes for credits, pirate powers, and a shirt, all you have to do is join the guild to get them. I can tell you many different secrets...if you would like some help. Arrange to meet up with your friends from neopets and be thier friend on VMK too! Don't know what VMK is? It's only the best internet game around! Talk to people real time and compete with each other to earn virtual stuff for your virtual character! Create your own room and then invite people to play in it for a prize that you have to give them! You run your own character and the only down side about VMK is that you have different words that are not allowed to be said for your safty. You are almost completely safe with what you say becouse those words that might let on to who you are, where you live, and even how old you are will come out as ### instead. Oh well. Don't say personal info or you may be booted from VMK forever! You say you can create another account but where is all your stuff? You need to get that stuff back but it is no longer out! Think safty instead of friends. If there is a word you think they should allow then just tell them by requesting it for thier dictionary. Or, come up with a way of saying it yourself. VMK is all about creativty. So, what are you waiting for? Get on to VMK right now and see for yourself why it is the best site on the internet! (Neopets is second best) We can now meet in Virtual Magic Kingdom! All guild members, go to the calendar and schedule a date or time and message ppl that u have done so! If u aren't a member then hurry and become one! We talk daily (most of the time), and have fun meeting on vmk. Anyone is invited!

Guides

Guide To Money

So you want to become rich, eh? Well, here is a quick guide to start you on your way to riches. There are three essential ways of making money in VMK:
  1. Playing minigames

  2. Selling Furniture

  3. Using Secret Codes

If you are just starting, I would suggest that you use the secret codes above (see webbie). Those will give you a good 1,500 credit or so. To make a decent amount of money try the minigames. Find one that you are good at. I am good at the Pirate Game and the Firework Game and also the Haunted Mansion Game. You don't have to be good at all of them, two is perfectly fine. I would suggest playing the Pirate Game. If you get good at it, you can be making 100-400 credit in just 5 minutes. Yes, in just 5 minutes! But how much would you really make? Let's look at it: VMK is open for 15 hours. If you play the Pirate Game all day when VMK is open you will earn....a lot. 60/5=12 (You can play the pirate game 12 times an hour) 12*100=1200 (1,200 credit in one hour, not too bad.) 1200*15=18000 (WOW! 18,000 in just ONE day.) Now let's say you had vacation off from school and played the pirate game every day, all day, all week. 18000*7=126000 So 126,000 in just one week. To be honest, I don't focus all to much on my money. I play a couple games, go buy something, log off. In the example I used only 100 credit per game. I usually score from 250-320. So if I was really dedicated I would make 14,400 in three hours at the most. Compare that to just 3,600 in three hours. Now a great new addition to the game is that when you win three time on a level you are awarded a key. Use the key in the new treasure room and score a treasure whether it be some pirate furniture, credit or magic. The pirate treasure room is located off the left wing of the Pirate Game Lobby. There are different chests for different keys. Another good game to play is Fireworks Remixed. In this game you are to put on the best firework show as possible. Click the firework with the matching cursor to score points. Waiting longer will get more points. If you click it when it turns into a star, it will say FLAWLESS and get you the most points. There are five levels each consisting of three rounds. A typical firework game last 10-15 minutes. They gave the firework game a make-over so the scoring and prizes are a little bit different. In the new version, you take your score and remove the last digit. This is how many credits you have. Example: 4756 (My Score) 475 (Remove Last Digit) 475 (My Credits) The scoring system is now on a 0-8 scale meaning the most points for a single firework is 8. In the old version it was a 0-1000 scale. In the newer version, there is a flawless bonus. For getting flawlesses in a row, you will get more points for a single firework. There are also bonuses. Match the bonus to score extra points. I would stay away from the Jungle Cruise Game since it only gives 20 credit no matter how high you score. The Haunted Mansion Game is also something you may want to try. Another way to earn money is buy selling your items in the game. You will not get what you originally paid for them. Another way I didn't mention is by visiting the NPC's. These Non-Playable Characters include the Yeti, Captain Blackheart, Esmeralda, the three ghosts, Shrunken Ned and the Dragon. For the first visit, you receive 40 credit. For every other time, 20 credit. You can visit these characters once every day or every 12 hours.

Guide To Games
Pirate of the Caribbean

This guide will go over strategies and the rules of the games in VMK. By reading this, you can become better and start making more credit. Soon you may be able to get a high score. The first game and my favorite, Pirates of the Caribbean. In this game you command a ship. There are two objectives in the game. It depends on which of the two games you play, Ship Battle or Capture the Flag. In Ship Battle the point of the game is to be the last ship on the water. Sink your opponents with cannonballs and take their gold. Gold cannonballs will inflict twice as much damage. To fire your cannonballs, press either the right or left arrow key depending on which way you want to fire. Three green arrows should come up. This is the direction the cannonballs will go. Hit the same arrow key again while the arrows are still there to fire. Based on the ship you picked, you could fire from anywhere from three cannonballs to five cannonballs. You move your ship by clicking the spot you want to sail to with your mouse. I find it helpful to find a place where you can fire at an opponent but they can't fire back. But make sure you can get out. If you get stuck, your a sitting duck. In Capture the Flag the goal is to get you opponents flag and bring it back to your base. Bringing the flag back successfully earns 57 points plus the amount of gold you got by firing at ships. Unlike Ship Battle there is more than one way to win in Capture the Flag.
  1. Be the first to bring back the flag.

  2. Have the flag on your ship when the other team is completely sunk (like Ship Battle)

  3. Have collected more gold than the other team when all or all but one ship are left. (Once again like Ship Battle)

In the case of winning the round as in 2, you get 32 credit for having the flag on your ship plus the gold. Now for the different ships. There are three different ships; the Black Pearl, the Flying Dutchman (default), and the Wicked Winch. Black Pearl - The Black Pearl fires three cannonballs at a time and has three barrels of health. It makes up for this with it's speed. Best for Capture the Flag. Flying Dutchman - The default ship. It has regular speed but had the most health, four barrels, and fires four cannonballs. Good for both games. (Defending in Capture the Flag) Wicked Winch - The Wicked Winch has the best firing rate of five cannonballs. It has the same speed as the Flying Dutchman and the same health of the Black Pearl. Mostly used in Ship Battle because of it's fire-power. It is used a lot in Capture the Flag but it's health is a weakness. To change you ship, click the little ship icon next to your name on the list. STRATEGIES: Need some help to conquer those pirates or vice-versa? Here are some tips for a sure-fire victory-
  1. During Capture the Flag it is wise to send one or two Black Pearls out to capture the opponents flag while the others stay and defend their flag. For defenders, it is best to use the Flying Dutchman OR if your opposing team has two or three Black Pearls, the Wicked Winch.
  2. Stay close to your flag when guarding in Capture the Flag. If it come down to a one-on-one go for your opponents flag and if you can beat them back go for it. If you can't beat them back to your base, stay at theirs and sink their ship while you still have the flag.
  3. In Ship Battle, find an angle at which you can fire at your opponent but the can't fire back.
  4. If running low on health, pick up the health crates. I usually take the other ones around me so that my opponents can't get them.
  5. If it is two-on-one take your opponents out one at a time. And be sure to get plenty of health.
  6. When it's two-on-one and you have the upper-hand with gold, get close to your opponent and fire away. If you sink, you will still win because you have your partner. Close combat should only be used in these kind of situations.
  7. When you get gold, just fire away until the gold is next in line or second. By having it like this, you can easily fire at your opponent without having to fire three or four times before finally getting to gold.
  8. When playing three-on-three or four-on-four, go different directions than your teammates. You can then go without anyone getting in your way or having to risk 2+ lives. It is also good for a quick escape.
  9. When you score a lot of gold, try to stay away from the opposing players or you'll risk losing all your points. (For Ship Battle Only)
  10. When defending your base in Capture the Flag, be aware of the Kraken. When you see him coming, you only need to move a little bit to avoid him. This way you keep from being injured and still stay defending at the base.

Guide To Games

Firework Remixed

By now, you all should have heard of the firework game getting remixed. But have you tried it? Do you have what it takes to get a bronze pin let alone a high score. In this section, I will go deeper into the game. Yes yavn does explain it in the newsletter but you still have many questions flying through your head. It is a lot harder, I'll say that. It goes at a facer pace and is much more unpredictable. The fireworks are random so the "Coming In" box on the side is a major tool and necessary. Always check it before a level begins to set your cursor to the correct firework. This is a HUGE help. It will reduce mess-ups. Another great helper is the flawless bonus. Wait until the firework turns into a star to achieve Flawless. The max the flawless bonus goes to is 3.0x. This, I believe, triples the point value of the firework. Now let's actually get into the new scoring system. The new scoring system is a lot simpler. The points of the fireworks now range from 0-8 not 0-1000. Getting the combos toward the end are worth sacrificing a firework or two. Instead of getting 10 points for a single firework, you can score 100 points for a three or four firework combo. Combos aren't worth sacrificing fireworks all of the time. If the firework you need isn't on the "Coming In" box after another firework or two, FORGET ABOUT IT. It won't be worth it in the end. Now to the actual prizes. The amount of credits you get relates to your score in the game. To find out how many credits you will get take your score, get rid of the last digit and there you have it, your score. Here's an example if it is still confusing. 4500 - My score 4500 - Got rid of last digit 450 - My credits Now for the prizes:
To score this pin, you must reach 3,900 points.
To score this pin, you must reach 4,400 points.
To score this pin, you must get in first place 10 times.

Remember, practice, practice, PRACTICE! Only by practicing can you improve. More is going to be added.

Guide To Games
Haunted Mansion

In this game it's pink team against the green team in this ghostly game. Be the team to collect more ghosts than your opponents. For every ghost caught, you will receive 5 credits plus an extra 40 if you're on the winning side. Player-ghosts are worth double points.

You move your character using either the arrow keys or the mouse. I would prefer using the mouse. When you are next to a ghost of YOUR color hit either SHIFT or CTRL on your keyboard. When using the SHIFT key, beware of hitting it too many times and activating Sticky-keys. If you are touched by a ghost of your opponents color, you become a ghost and can be captured and vice-versa. Players that turn into ghosts are worth two ghosts. When doing a quest, and you need to capture a certain amount of ghosts, player ghosts do not count.

When you are a ghost I usually "shake" coffins. You can also do this when you're not a ghost. To do this, walk up to a coffin and hit your "capture key." (SHIFT or CTRL) This makes a ghost come out quicker but it may not always be your color ghost.

The game ends when one team wins two games. This means that you can play up to three rounds.

At the end of each round (except the final round), you will have "a race." Walk through the portals that appear until you find the correct one. You will know you have the correct one because you will disappear and the portal will turn the color of your team. But also BEWARE. Non-capturable ghosts will appear and "slay" you if you get close. This will take you out of the race.

The winner of the race will have a 5 second head start in the next round. This can be a major help to some people.

After a certain amount of wins, you may also get bonus credits.

Guide To Games
Jungle Cruise Photo Safari

The Jungle Cruise Safari Game is based on an actual ride WDW. In this game you man your own ship and set off on a safari adventure. You control your ship with the arrow keys and the camera with your mouse. The objective of this game is to ride through the five different rooms in VMK and score as many points as you can with your photography. You will encounter many different animals on your safari and it's your job to capture them with your camera. You will go into the different rooms each unique with their own animals. You must try and score the most points on each animal on possible before going to the next scene. The better your timing, the more points you'll receive. It is very much like the Firework Game. It is all about timing. Based on the quality of your photo, you will get a FLAWLESS, AWESOME, GOOD, or OK. See the connection? To take a photo, move the camera with your mouse over the animal then click. And there you have it, you took a picture. Remember to pick up the film and gas tanks while steering your boat. You wouldn't want to no be able to take any more photos, right? Or have your boat stop and be stuck out on the safari. Gas is the most important thing to worry about. Steer clear of the rocks that are in the water and the animals that appear in there too. Not only will you miss a chance to take a picture of the animal with your camera, but you will lose gas just as if it were a rock. Also beware of the sides. Bumping into them is like crashing. There aren't any tips on how to get a higher score except to practice and be able to steer your boat and take pictures at the same time without looking at the keyboard. This way, you will have better concentration and will do better. If you are wondering why your boat is a different color; blue, yellow, red, gray, etc, it is just random. There are no bonuses to different colors or is there anyway to get the same color every time.

By Firetrainer144

The Jungle Cruise Photo Safari game is based on an actual ride in Walt Disney World. in this game you man your own ship and set off on a safari adventure. You control your boat with the arrow keys and the camera with your mouse. The objective of this game is to ride through the 5 different rooms in VMK and score as many points as you can with the your photography. As you ride through these rooms, animals will appear and disappear. You have to take a picture of as many animals as you can before leaving the room. The better your timing, the more points you'll receive. The points are based on the word you get, whether it is flawless, awesome, good, or ok. Next is the driving of your boat. You have to collect gas which is like your health. When you run out of gas the game is over. If you hit objects such as rocks or the sides of the river, you lose gas. The first time you play you receive a poster and 50 credits. Every time after that you only receive 20 credits unless you make a high score.

Guide For Beginners

Before you can really start playing VMK, you must learn something about it. Here is an excerpt from the wiki:
The game is in operation daily between 10:00am and 1:00am EST (7:00am-10:00pm PST, 2:00pm-5:00am UTC). However, on December 31, 2006, the game is operating till 4:00am EST (1:00am PST), to celebrate the new year. The beta version opened publicly on May 23, 2005 with Main Street, Fantasyland, and Adventureland available to players. The "beta" designation was removed on June 27. The Tomorrowland game area was made available on October 5, and Frontierland opened on December 12. The rest of Tomorrowland opened on April 4, 2006. On January 8, 2007 the new land was announced and opened as New Orleans Square along with many other new VMK features. New Orleans Square was opened with the VMK Gallery, a room were game programmer's show off new objects or upcoming additions to VMK, Blue Bayou, a restaurant based off the one in Disneyland's New Orleans Square complete with a waiter named "Gator Waiter" who takes orders from VMK guests when they wave their hands, and a view of the swamp area from the beginning of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disneyland. Also The Haunted Mansion game on VMK has been moved from Frontierland but Pirates of the Caribbean has not as it is also based in New Orleans Square at Disneyland in Anaheim. The game engine uses Macromedia Shockwave. Virtual Magic Kingdom was created by The Sulake Corporation, the company that also created the online multiplayer game Habbo Hotel, and it bears several similarities to said game.
Making an account is free and simple. Click on the round button on the VMK homepage that says, "Play Here". Follow the steps and eventually you'll get to a screen where you get to "build" your character. Chose your style; add a hat, pick a cool shirt and pants and shoes and chose your own hairstyle. Once you finish you will get to name your character then chose a free room to get started. Playing games is probably the best part of VMK. There are six different games each waiting for you to master. Using the game guides above, you'll be champion of the game in no time. When you first arrive in VMK, your name will be Guest#######. Don't worry. In a few days you'll have the name you chose if it is approved. When I first joined, I used the secret codes (posted above) to give me "a running start." I would suggest that you do the same. By earning credit, you will be able to buy furniture and clothes and pins and more! There are several shops in VMK. In Main Street there's the Emporium; in Fantasyland, Small World Imports; In Frontierland, Horseshoe Mercantile; In Tomorrowland, Inner-space shop and in Adventureland, there's Shrunken Ned's. There is also a shop in VMK Central located in Main Street where you can buy a camera and film. To unlock a shop so that it is registered in your shop list, go to the shop and double-click the gold cash register. Every shop has a "Specials" tab. This can only be opened by visiting the shop. The new items are usually put there. They also have furniture from the "furniture" tab but in other colors. In three shops, there is a tab called "Ride Pieces." Buying ride sets will give you pieces to build your very own ride. Usually VMK has a ride-a-thon for a new ride set. Then they let the players make their own rides with the new pieces and judge them. And let me tell you, they give out some pretty GOOD prizes. Now for credit. Credit is the type of money used in VMK. It is more like neopoints in Neopets. By earning credits, you can buy furniture and other things for your character. This then leads to trading. Trading is something I do all the time. You can trade your items for items another player has. Items have different "rarities" so for something rare, players will want something equal in value. Value is usually based on how in demand the item is. The most rare items are the Stitch Hat, Inferno and beta.
What is beta? Beta are items that were on sale when VMK opened and when it was being tested. Beta is EXTREMELY rare but usually is forgotten about. The most sought after beta are the green flips and candy cauldron. Then there is the green rocket chair.
Unlike most sites, VMK chat language is different. Most sites only block words or phrases that are inappropriate. VMK on the other hand has their own dictionary. You can only say words that are in that dictionary which means that you have to spell the word (s) correctly. When typing, you may came across a word that is flashing in red. This means that the word is not approved by VMK and is not in the dictionary. If you go and try to post it, it won't work. But if you hit "enter" twice it appears on the screen. But where the flashing word was, there is now "###." The limited dictionary led to players creating "dictionary dances." This just means a way to say what they want without have ### appear. Some players abuse dictionary dancing and get banned. Remember never and I mean NEVER give out any personal information.

Keep VMK safe and follow allthe VMK values.
