Hello Gabby and fellow DGA members

Hi guys! I would like to warmly welcome you to my application for Astronommy. Just wanted to let you guys know two things: 1. I will be calling her Nommy for the entirety of this application and, 2. even though Nommy is a he currently, I see him as a her. So I will be referring to him as her. (hope that made sense?!)

Gabby and the DGA did NOT ask for/demand a petpage application. Gabby may have brandished a pointy stick...but that is neither here nor there. I made this application entirely on my own in the hopes of adopting Nommy. Kthankx!

I am sure you noticed that each of my accounts have 4 pets on them. Please let me explain. I would not be abandoning a pet to adopt Nommy. Slithrs is a foster and I have another foster home lined up for her already if I am chosen to adopt Nommy.

Catch a falling star....

Personality and back story:
I have based Nommy's character off of Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I see her as being independent, adventurous, and curious about the world around her.

What is is about the stars that captivate us? Every night we look up and marvel at their beauty and wonder what they really are. Well, what if the stars are doing the same...looking down at us and wondering and marveling? What if the stars are more than what we could have ever dreamed them to be? What if the stars are actually living, breathing beings? And what if there was one little star in particular who dreamed about a life beyond her little corner of the universe? A little star, whose thirst for adventure, ends up taking her on the trip of a lifetime?
In a nutshell: Nommy is a star from a distant nebula. She leaves the safety of her nebula, with only her trusty Blobagus Shimmer as a companion. Through a series of mishaps, she ends up crashing on Neopia (hence the fallen star references!). After wandering around Neopia, and finding that people are not nice to Grundos, she meets Sockina. Sockina takes her home to meet the other two Fates. They realize how special Nommy is and mange to convince her to stay. Nommy, moved by the plight of Grundos, opens an agency dedicated to helping them find good homes. She and Sockina become best friends and everyone lives happily ever after.

It took me a while, but I came up with two very special looks for her. Due to space constraints, I can not put the picture here. But if you CLICK ME, you will be able to view her customization plans.

I have something very special planned for Nommy's petpage. As you know, we need to find a new spot for the DGA. I would absolutely LOVE to host the DGA on Nommy's petpage. I feel it would be very fitting, seeings how she is a former DGA foster project.

Hello all! In this section, I would like to introduce you to the three ladies that Nommy will be spending her time with...the Three Fates. Due to space constraints, and the fact that coding is all wonky lately for petpages, I was unable to list all of my pets. But never fear, if you would like to meet them all, please feel free to go and look HERE. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I am a huge fan of Mythology. Because of this, I decided to make an account based on the Three Fates.The three ladies who live on this account are...different. Each one has a special power and a special job.
Bia: Bia's job is to determine the length of you life, and it's purpose. She is very scholarly, and spends all her spare time pouring over books. She can kind of be a know-it-all, but her sisters love her and tune her out most of the time.
Lj: Lj's job is to cut your thread, thus ending your life. You would think that someone who has a job like that would be cruel and morbid. But this is not the case with Lj. She is the sweetest person you will ever meet and has a passion, and a talent, for baking.
Sockina:Sockina's job is to create and spin the thread of life. She is a nurturer, despite her fierce looks. She loves the night and the stars, and she is the one who finds Nommy. She convinces the fallen star to stay, and the two become best friends.

An' just in case you feel you wanta' hold her...

If I am chosen, I , Stella, pledge to be the best Mommy I can be to my new friend, Nommy. I understand all the sadness that she has already been through, and so I will provide everything she needs to be happy. I promise to be a friend to Nommy, and never ever ever put her through the pain of neglect or abandonment again.

I would also like to take this opportunity to share with you my views on pet trading. Pet trading is such a hot topic and kind of a gray area. The way most people use it, ie. penny trades, is wrong. To say that one pet has more value over another just makes my stomach turn. I DO, however, wholeheartedly agree with trading when it is used for a permie/permie exchange. I view this as an adoption basically. Would I ever trade my pets? That is a resounding NO!! All of my pets are my babies (even the so called badly named ones and the basic colored ones), and they are here to stay. This includes Nommy, should I be lucky enough to adopt her. =)
