Emerald Forest is a setting made up by me, Kiara. It's used in some of my fanfiction, and in some role plays.
Note that this is in an alternate universe. Some of the original cast may be living in the village or as rogues. If their owners allow it, I will also put up other peoples' characters.

It's quite a large forest. In the very center is a large tree, which is used as a meeting place. Hidden in the forest is a village, much like Knothole (from the comics and SatAM). Scattered about the forest are many rogues. They are more organized than they seem, however. They all meet in some hidden location once every eight days, and sometimes there are people from other thieves' guilds around Mobius coming here to learn escape tactics, agility, and other useful things.

The villagers prefer a more peaceful, organized life. They are never keen on fighting, and have learned no stealth techniques, but they live a happy, carefree life. They absolutely despise the Rogues. They believe that the Rogues are simply wild, crazy animals with no appreciation for anything at all.
The villagers prefer growing their food, but they do hunt on occasion.

The Rogues prefer a more wild, unorganized life. They are trained to use stealth and hand-to-hand combat for the most part, but weapons are taught as secondary techniques. They only fight if they need to, however. They dislike the villagers simply because they believe the villagers are downright snobs.
The Rogues prefer hunting their food, but they occasionally steal crops from the villagers.
