About Us

Hello and welcome to Lighter Than Air! We are a Semi-Lit, Neo-Related/Avatar guild that was established on Jan 13th 2010! We are all about helping our fellow neopians reach what they desire here on Neopets, be it a few more nps, a pet, avatars or even spotlight trophies! While at the same time provide a happy fun-filled environment where everyone has a good time, makes friends and loves chatting! Things are constantly changing, there are plenty things to do and there are always alot of people to talk to.

As I said before, we are a Neo-Related guild, which means we have Neopet Layouts, Teams and even activities. This doesn't mean all we talk about is Neopets, frankly that would get pretty boring, we can and do talk about all kinds of stuff, as long as we follow TNT's rules.

Every month we have a brand new custom layout, even a couple of our pages get re-vamped and re-done to keep everything up to date. Every-so-often we will have a layout competition, which gives our members a chance to get their layouts used on our homepage for one whole month. Teams Page
The teams page is for members to pick a team and earn points, each month the team with the most points will be chosen as the winner, and a spiffy trophy will be added to each members profile!

Yearbook
This is for members to learn a little more about everyone else.

Activities Page
Whats a guild without an activities page? Well, we have THREE! Why you ask? Well we all agreed by having three, we would have alot more different activities for members to work on, three minds produce more than one!

Advertisement/Graphics Page
This page has everything to do with advertisement and graphics, from board adds, banners, shields and even LTA userlookups!

1np Auctions
We have eight 1np auctions every week, different times and different days each week so people from different time zones all have a chance, though we will try our hardest to pick time zones with the most people present.

Adoption Agency
Many members have their very own Lab Maps, which they kindly use for zapping pets for the guilds AA! Every pet in here has either been zapped or painted a nice new colour!

Codestone Quest
This is a page, where we collect all of the codestones needed and throw them into techo mountain, which makes them turn into a RED codestone, which is auctioned off in the 1np auctions!

Negg Activity
Similar to the Codestone Quest, only members donte neggs which are taken to the ice caves and swaped for Negg Tokens, which, at the end of each month will be redeemed for a very rare negg and auctioned off!

Application

As we are a private guild, we have an application we would like each of you to fill out and send off. Don't be scared, it wont require you to think much, there's just 7 quick questions that i'd like to know about you.

Rules!

Each and every member must abide by these rules! Breaking them once will be a warning sent by neomail, breaking them twice will be a weeks ban from the guild and a third time you will be kicked out of the guild! We know rules are a pain, but these are simple and easy to follow, just to keep everyone happy.

1) We are a Semi-Literate Guild, which means NO CHAT SPEAK. It's ok for a 'lol' or smiley faces now and again, but please, dnt t1k lyke dis!

2) Be active! We have member sweeps every two weeks, if you haven't posted in that time, you will be sweeped out. Please let council members know when and why you can't get on for 2 or more weeks.

3) NO DRAMA! We are all very close friends here, please don't make a scene. If you are unhappy about a member, notify a council member.

4) Please abide by ALL of TNT's Rules!

5) Do NOT raise your bidding price in the 1np auctions over 1np, we'd like to keep things affordable for everyone please!

6) No SPAM! Please do not post random pointless messages. We don't have a 'you can't post so many times in a row' rule because you could actually be generally talking to someone/people in the guild, but don't abuse this by posting spam and trying to get your post count up!

7) To participate in 1np auctions you must have chatted with the guild on the day of auctions and have over 150 points that month. This is to stop people only coming online for the auctions and posting once every 2 weeks so they aren't swept out! Auctions are for our active members!

8) Neomail StaceyLovesJack if you leave the guild please, you don't have to say why, this is just so we can take your name off of our pages.

Ranks

This little section is about the ranks and how to move up. For ease I have arranged them in lists, so members dont have to read through paragraphs all the time. :)

Lone Faerie
Congrats your application has been accepted!, this is the default rank.
-At this rank you should Enable Guild Mailing, to do this just go to My Account, Preferences, Check the Enable Guild Mailings Box, Submit Details. :)

Negg Family
-Read the webbie, make sure you understand the rules
-Make sure you have Guild Mailing Enabled
-Introduce yourself on the guild chat boards
-Pick a team to be on, neomail Stacey
-Submit your Yearbook App, from the portal page
-Add your birthday to the guild calender!

Sparkle Family
-Send in your Dream Pets for the Dreamie Page (Rules Apply)
-Chat frequently on the guild chat board (200 posts)
-300 Team Points
-Once this level is reached, add _stacey_anne_ as a nf, to participate in 1np auctions

Air Family
-500 Team Points
-Been spotted advertising at least twice on a guildless board (send links to owners if needed)
-Talk regularly on the guild chat board (450 posts)

Dark Family
-700 Team Points
-Talk very regularly on the guild chat board. (750 posts)
-Been spotted advertising five times on a guildless board (send links to owners if needed)

NOTE: If members are found spamming to get their post count up, your post count to rank up will be made higher.

Council Spots
-Dark Family Rank to Apply
-Just apply using the 'apply for position' in guild
-Must be online at least 3 times a week.
-Some CSS/HTML knowledge and is happy to run a couple pages
-Must be well-known and well-liked in the guild
