Hello. My name is Tucker2001_C04.
I know, it's not as neat as some of these Latin-Greek-Romantic names a lot of Neopets
get. But I was born several years
ago, long before anyone thought to get so creative. And I was abandoned by the owner that named me, so who knows what he or
she was thinking.
In short,
just call me Tuck.
Some Steel Wool and a 9-Volt
As I said, I was abandoned when I was very young. I don't remember anything about my first owner, and I can't remember much about the pound either. I didn't like it, I know that much. It was no place for such a young puppy, cold, sad, just waiting and hoping someone would come.
One day, artista_10 came for me. She picked me up and brought me to meet her other pets, my new sisters. Right after that, she had a home built for us. I had my own room, my own bed, a speaker that played music just for me. A big yard to play in, though we spent a lot of time all exploring wide Neopia.
That was back before all these new worlds were discovered. There was no Lost Desert, no Brightvale, no Maraqua. Let alone places like Lutari Island, Altador, and Shenkuu. In those days, I loved going to Terror Mountain. I started out pretty scraggly when I was first adopted, but with the great care artista_10 gave me, I developed a pretty thick coat to withstand the frost.
And it got even better a little after that. One day Artista presented me with a gift. It wasn't the biggest, most amazingly wrapped box. Most of Artista's Neopoints had gone towards what was inside. A fire paintbrush. I've had this cool coat ever since. There have been some nice colors debuted since then, but I still like this one.

This is my Duocorn, Dr. Allen Grant.
Don't be intimidated by the title. He's as much a medical professional as Dr. Pepper.
Dr. Grant and I hang out at Techo Mountain sometimes. He's actually the perfect buddy for a fire neopet. He can run so fast, he just about flies. We go dodging around the lava flows and geysers.
We go there because that's where I found him, and how I found him. I was just wandering the island when we first got here. The whole family spent some time
down at the beach, but when the sun started sinking it was time to get out of the water. That's when most Jetsam attack, you know, dawn and evening.
Only once the sky was getting dark did I notice the glow from Techo Mountain. Looked like fun, and I figured hanging out there would help dry the water that
had gotten all the way down in my coat. So I trotted off and up the warm foothills.
My fur? Yeah, that was dry by the time I even got to the cool stuff on the mountain. It was awesome. There were open lava flows, like I'd only seen in
pictures. Just these blazing streaks that coursed alive across the dark, rocky surface. THey streamed down from the gaping mouth at the very top of the
mountain.
I could faintly hear the sounds of students down at the training school, their forceful shouts as they refined their battle skills. My attentions drifted
that way for a moment, searching out more aural definition.
And something streaked by in my perpipheral.

This is not a drill...
I'm sure you're more modern than me, and keeping up with all the headlines. I'm also sure you've heard of the new land discovered in Y11, Moltara.
And I'm very sure you can imagine how excited I am about this.
I've heard there are new creatures and pet pets to be found there. But Dr. Grant has nothing to worry about. He's my little expedition buddy now and as we discover more.
Ohana
Azulita is our oldest sister. She helped me keep cool when the Chulitas were crazy Eyries. If the heat is starting to get to you here, go visit her for a
little dip in the ocean.
Chulita 707 is a baby Kougra now. She is the cutest thing ever. If this cub
were to curl up on my pillow, shed all over it, and
leave a few claw marks, I'd let her keep sleeping right on it.
Chulita70710 is newly a green elephante. Chulita is a
little more mixed-up than your average Elephante. If you're out in the jungle, and you hear something boom-boom-booming, it's probably her hopping around
like a bunny. And she claims she can fly up into trees. But none of us have
ever seen it. Just watch out above you if you take a nature walk.
Treasured
If you didn't gather, I love my little sister. I love them all, but this one really gives me no choice but to be fluffy and cuddly.

Artista and I finally happened on that awesome place. It's definitely worth checking out if you find yourself spending a lot of time with your nose in a
book, writing or doodling. I'm still lurking, just waiting to join any minute now.
