About Tsuguka

Tsuguka is a kind hearted, if eccentric Techo. She believes she is the sole survivor of a line of royal Techos who used to rule over Mystery Island. Whether that is true or not is debatable, but Tsuguka believes that running this adoption agency is her destiny, and she will stop at nothing to make sure the pets under her care go to good homes.

Welcome to Ohana

Hello, guest and welcome to Ohana Adoptions. We hope you'll take the time to visit with our lovely adoptees, they're always thrilled to meet new people. Who knows? You might just find someone you want to take home with you.

What, No Apps?

That's right, Ohana is no longer operating on a traditional application system. Instead, I'll be choosing from a pool of potential owners whom I've picked based on several criteria.
This is what I'll be looking for when re-homing my fosters. To be considered, you must meet all of these requirements:

1)Your accounts must be following the site's Terms & Conditions
2) The account you wish to adopt the pet on must have at least one free space. I don't want you disowning one of your pets to make room for mine, that would defeat the purpose of fostering.
3) Your account must be at least 4 months old (TNT's rule, not mine)
4) The account my foster will be going to must be active. It doesn't matter if it's a main or a side.
5) The majority of your pets must have some form of personalization. It can be customization, art, personalites, all of the above, one or two of the above, whatever. Basically, I want to see that you care about your current pets before I consider adopting one of mine out to you. At the absolute bare minimum, all of your pets must be happy and well-fed.
6) I'm looking for permanent homes for these pets. That being said, you'll be at a severe disadvantage if you're an active pet trader. (I might make exceptions to this rule if you explain your situation, but in the end it's my call.)

How to Apply

All questions and applications must be sent to my main account. It's just easier to keep track of all the mail if it's in one place :)
1) Neomail me with the name of the pet you wish to apply for, your main account, and a list of all your sides.
2) Within 1-2 weeks I will let you know whether you've been placed in the applicant pool or not.
3) The day after the specified deadline for the pet, I will use a random list generator to decide the new owner from the pool of applicants.
4) I will update the pet's lookup to say something along the lines of "'Pet's name here' has a new owner and is no longer up for adoption"
Unfortunately due to time constraints, I can't neomail everyone in the applicant pool individually. So, if you haven't received a neomail from me by the time the pet's lookup has been updated, you haven't been chosen. You are welcome to apply for any future pet that takes your fancy though, chances are if you were eligible once you'll be eligible again :)

The Pledge of Good Ownership
Since I'm not accepting traditional apps anymore, you are not required to post this anywhere. Still, it's a statement I believe in, and I would appreciate if you took it's message to heart :)

If I am chosen, I, (your name), pledge to be the best owner I can be for my new Neopet, (pet's name),. I understand all the sadness that he/she has already been through, and so I will provide everything he/she needs to be happy. I promise to be a friend to my new Neopet and never ever ever put him/her through the pain of neglect or abandonment again.

The Family

Notice: I will be visiting family from Dec 24-28, so I probably won't be responding to neomail as fast as I usually do for those days.

Here's where you'll find our lovely adoptees. If there is a pet being zapped that you would like to adopt as-is, neomail gwythorn ASAP so she can stop zapping for you.
