UPDATE~
Thank you so much for choosing me as Trifoliume's new owner! ^_^ I'm in the process of adding/fixing/removing things on the page to suit a petpage rather than an application. Yay!

Sun is shinin' in the sky
there ain't a cloud in sight.
It's stopped rainin'
everybody's in a playin'.
And don't you know
it's a beautiful new day
Hey, hey!

Runnin' down the avenue
see how the sun shines
brightly in the city
on the streets
Where once was pity.
Mister Blue Sky
is living here today
Hey, hey!

Mister Blue Sky
please tell us why
You had to hide away for so long
Where did we go wrong?

Hey you with the pretty face,
welcome to the human race!
A celebration
Mister Blue Sky's up there waitin'
And today is the day
we've waited for
Hey, hey!

Mister Blue Sky
please tell us why..

Hey there, Mister Blue!
We're so pleased
to be with you.
Look around!
See what you do,
everybody smiles at you.

Mister Blue,
you did it right!
But soon comes Mister Night
creepin' over, now his hand is
on your shoulder.
Never mind!
I'll remember you as

Hey there
Mister Blue Sky!

E.L.O. - Mr. Blue Sky

Welcome to my application for Trifoliume, the Chocolate Kacheek!
Please enjoy your stay. (and have a cookie or two!)

Also, if there is an image that looks squished, feel free to drag it to the address bar for a better look.

Introduction - - - - ♥
Please allow me to start my application with an excerpt I hope to use as the story on Trifoliume's future petpage.

Are you coming or what?, a biscuit kougra yelled.

Oh yes, I'll be there!

A small Kacheek could be seen doing her best to catch up with her group of friends in a field of soft pink candy floss. The sun was setting in a world called Chocoland, somewhere hidden in a remote part of the Neopian world. A custard Chia and the biscuit Kougra began to tease the chocolate Kacheek by running a little faster.

Who could imagine such a place? Unlike the myth of Jelly World, this serene haven was filled with real gingerbread homes and chocolate ponds. Solid blades of candy grass could be seen for miles away while cookie trees could be heard quietly crumbling.

Why'd you guys leave me behind?, the little Kacheek, known as Trifoliume, playfully said. The kids stopped at a cliff at the end of the field where a lone cookie tree stood. The chia sat down beside the giant tree and pulled a flower lolly from the ground. A majestic view of the sun could be seen behind the village of Chocoland houses. The rays poured across the plains, turning the pink floss a vivid orange hue.

Have you guys ever wondered what's beyond the floss?, the Kacheek asked her buddies, Bilo, the Chia, and Chuchi, the Kougra. She fluffed the cream on the hem of her dress gently. The Chia and Kougra looked at each other.

Not really, Bilo replied. Can't be anything spectacular. My dad tells me stories about the Haunted Woods all the time during camping trips. Like any of that is real.

Aren't you the least bit curious? Trifoliume questioned. She stood in front of the view, making sure she had the attention of her closest companions. Could I ask you guys a serious question? A question so serious, I would need a serious answer? A gleam in her eyes was sharp and silent. Chuchi furrowed her eyebrows.

Of course, Truffles. You can ask us anything. The Kougra sat Trifoliume down by the tree as the sky grew a darker shade of purple by the second. A chilly wind swept past them and the edible blades of grass rustled together cheerfully.

I've been thinking for a while about everything outside our village. We learn about the myth of the Lost Desert in Neoschool and collect shells from 'Maraqua' by buying them in our local stores. How do we know these places really exist? The Chia placed a hand on his companion.

You just have to trust the things we learn. The teachers aren't paid to tell us lies. Those shells we collect aren't much of something to eat, either. I know that for a fact! Patches of glowing Novas began to form above the children in the sky. Row by row, the houses in the village began to light up for the night time ahead.

I won't believe it until I see it, Bilo. Are you guys willing to come with me? We'll pack stuff and sneak out of the village. It'll be like one of our adventures! Just... not with that cardboard box we always use.

Chuchi stood up and looked at Trifoliume as if she were crazy. Truffles, have you gone mad? How the heck are we supposed to know where we're going? We could end up in the water for all we know. And what will our parents say?

They don't have to know anything! Trifoliume slipped a scroll from the side of her dress and unravelled it open. And see? I have a map of Neopia right here! We just have to follow-

The Chia pulled the Kougra backwards and began walking away. C'mon Chuchi, Trifoliume can get into her own trouble. With that, the two trotted into the field, leaving their Kacheek friend behind. She curled into the hollow of the tree, gripping the map tightly in her paws. Another wind swept past her, chilling her tail stiff.

There goes another two...

Trifoliume was never the one to admit she was a little weird. In fact, she was proud to have come so far in her sneaky plan. It took her a week's worth of lemonade sales in her front yard, but she got enough money to purchase a map from the local travel vendor in the market. She coiled the piece of paper and wrapped a ribbon around it, preserving the ancient appeal it held with its ripped edges and faded ink.

More than anything, the little Kacheek wanted to venture beyond the floss, away from her 'normal' life. Her classmates always made fun of her interest in the Kreludor moon. They would dress in green suits and pretend they were Alien Aishas, popping out of the bushes and scaring her. She would proceed to sulk under a tree with a book about the Shenkuu mountains in hand. Little did they know, she was about to rock their world.

I'm gonna get some Kreludor moon dust and prove that it's not just some fat marshmallow in the sky! They'll see!

Oh dear... now where do I go?

Truffles fumbled with the map as she tore through a thicket of green lolly bush leaves. For a Kacheek, the trek was becoming quite lengthy. Her stubby legs wouldn't last much longer, but her determination kept her moving forward. Or more forward, backward, then forward, as she stumbled across cookie stepping stones.

Trifoliume reminisced about her friends jumping the stones in their neighborhood river. They would play the 'Krawkodile' game for hours; step into the river, and you'd be the feast of an angry river Krawk! But her journey out of Chocoland had no Krawks. Nor did she have friends to share it with.

Best friends would've gone with me. Best friends would have at least said why I shouldn't! But did they? No!

With that thought, she slipped her foot and landed it into the river. Good thing she was a chocolate Kacheek. It was more like bath time than getting muddy in real dirt. She wondered what real dirt felt like...

Who's there!? a loud voice shouted from the trees around her. Trifoliume shuddered and made her way quickly out of the river and back into the bush.

What was that? she thought. It couldn't have been a petpet- they don't talk much to Neopets, aside from the occasional bark, like her Warf, Chip.

I've got my Ray Gun, and I'm not afraid to cook this bush burnt! the voice alarmed again.

This time, the figure stepped into Trifoliume's view. She could see its green skin and four ears... and a bowl on its head? And what more? The Neopet looked terrified! Truffles stepped out of the bush quietly as the figure aimed his gun at her.

What do you want with me?!?

She giggled a little. You're not from around here, are you? I mean, everyone I know here is brown or yellow. You're not either, so what are you?

I am not a what, I'm a who! And my name's Nechtren, the Alien Adventurer! I travel Neopia in search of treasures and trophies to bring them back on the Space Station. Then we keep them in the Warehouse in exchange for prize codes.

For the first time in her life, Trifoliume had seen someone she wasn't familiar with. She gazed at his beaming space suit and transparent glass helmet. Everyone in Chocoland didn't have attire other than what they were born with. What was the point? Clothes would only soil in their skin, and laundry wasn't exactly popular, or heard of, for that matter. Instead, they molded clothes from their own stock of natural cocoa and kau kau milk.

So if you're an alien, do you ride a big spaceship and live on Kreludor?

She had so many questions to ask. So many words to speak. Her mind raced trying to keep from jumbling sentences.

Well, I do ride a space ship, but I live in the Space Station close to my work.

She couldn't ask him that one question, could he? Would it be too much? Would she be able to go back?

Unfortunately, she wouldn't know any of this until she asked.

Do.. do you think I could go with you? To see the Space Station?

Trifoliume kicked up a dust of cookie crumbs from the ground below them.

All my friends say we're the only ones who exist on Neopia, but this map, she took it from her knapsack and hurled it into the alien's helmet, This map says otherwise! I want to know the truth! I don't want to learn about what might have been, or what will be. I want to know what's out there right now!

With that, the alien pressed a button on a remote buckled to his side. Soon a circular figure was seen overhead, and a ship hovered gracefully onto the ground before them.

If you trust me, then I can make all that happen. I'm but a stranger to you.

She trotted up the steps to the pit of the ship with a grin on her face.

Well, hello stranger. My name's Trifoliume. Nice to meet you!

Statistics - - - - ♥

Trifoliume finds the best in others and always has a smile on her face. She is constantly willing to learn about everything- the slorg crawling along a swamp log, to the elusive golden pteri that flies through the sky. With that, she takes her curious nature, always looking for something to study and discover. Don't let her cute appearance fool you! Truffles doesn't take no for an answer!

Take care of him! He's your responsibility, not ours.

Yes, Papa, I know. C'mere boy!

Coming out of the wooden cage was a plump, brown-colored Warf. The little pup had cream ears and a cream circle running around his left eye, and a cherry atop his wagging cream tail.

Trifoliume and her parents went to the petpet shop earlier that day, and a wave of Kadoatie mews and Babyca squeaks filled the store. Which would little Trifoliume pick? A loud but cuddly Noil? Or maybe a quiet Yullie was better suited.

Then came a chubby little Warf licking at the Kacheek's foot.

Hey, that tickles! She giggled. An employee tried to pry the Warf away, but the small pup held his ground firmly and whimpered.

Momma, isn't he cute as a button?

She scooped him into her arms, and the little Warf licked her cheek clean. Trifoliume couldn't be happier.

What should I call you, hmm?

If you ask me, he looks like a giant chocolate chip! Chocobori laughed. He's brown and chunky, and round all around- like your old man!

Then I'll call you.. Chip. I like the sound of that.

Woof!

About Me - - - - ♥

I bet you've been wondering about me- the applicant! Before I introduce myself, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my application, whether you skimmed it, or truly tried to make sense of it.

Now- hello! My name is Joy, and I'm currently a freshman at the University of Washington (hopefully you can guess my age by that information), hoping to study biology or chemistry for a career in pharmaceuticals. One of my passions is, of course, Neopets! But outside of the virtual world, I enjoy volunteering for the environment (aka I'm a tree hugger :D) and watching CSI: Miami when I get the chance to catch it on TV. My current issue in real life is trying to make sense of my Husky Card- the account in which I use to buy food and other necessities on campus. I really hope I don't look like a loser trying to scan a card with no money on it. x_x

I'm a victim of the 6-year shield, which lies about a lot of people's time on Neopets. My Neoboard posts tell me I'm 78 months old, so I'll go with that. =) My accounts are as follows: neodragonangel, collateral, vexes, f0e, and joyvey. I also have a gallery dedicated to cute, little objects if you'd like to click here. Why? I don't remember. The oddball images surrounded by a void of white seemed interesting at the time, so I stuck with it. (I hope you notice the category just for Truffles. I had to put Chip -somewhere- xD;) I also have a petpage of screenies that I keep for good memories before the conversion of Neopets.

The Family - - - - ♥

Fuzzy loves food! I like Kau Kau Farm milk and my binky. Sometimes Nech likes to fire lazers at me 'cause he says we're playing Evil Fuzzles from Beyond the Stars. I don't like that game too much. I never win. But I like lots of cookies and cakes! They're really yummy! Love me lots and I'll love you too.

I am Odegaard, and my name is Suzzallo. We're Royal Lupes, knighted after the war of Meridell. We decided to retire from the battles after seeing how bad the fights were becoming. We came across this cozy abode in an escape from Darigan armies one stormy night. Suzzallo and I agreed that we should stay in this village to protect it from further invasions.

I'm Artisan, a Cloud Gnorbu. I love to sit outside when there are fluffy clouds floating about a blue sky. I also love seeing rainbows after a thundrous storm. Painting is also a hobby of mine. Perhaps I can draw a portrait of you some time! Heh, that almost rhymed. I'm very friendly, so please don't hesitate to ask me anything!

Why Me? - - - - ♥
Or why not me? That is the question..

I feel that I show great dedication to whatever I do, whether it be on or off Neopets. In the past two years, I've been busy collecting avatars and lurking the AC. I've gone through hours playing avatar games (I am most proud of my Meerca Chase II avatar ^^), entering the Random Contest, and showing enough 'trustworthiness' to be lent an MSPP (TCG) for free.

However, once the pound reopened, my past resurfaced.

I used to draw tirelessly and had lupe adoptables I was happy to trade. showing that having Neopets not just for their looks was (and still is) hard for many people. And me?

Having done this application has shed new light on my passion for giving life to these so-called 'virtual pets'. Though I feel that I lack in composition and roleplaying skills, my artistic ability with what I have to use makes up for it.

I cannot make promises that will involve entering the BC every week, or trying to roleplay as much as I can, but what I can promise is that I will love this pet as much as I do my own.

Overall, I feel that I am a good owner towards all my pets, and I don't see myself going on hiatus or quitting any time soon. In the end, all I can offer is love.

Why Her? - - - - ♥

That's a difficult, yet simple question to answer.

Why Trifoliume?

Why her, out of all the neopets up for adoption?

To start, I base most, if not all, my pets on things I love in my real life. Odegaard and Suzzallo were created to resemble the mascot of my university- the husky! I hope to paint them royal some day, because my college is certainly divine. ;) My Alien Aisha, Nechtren, resembes Mario, from my love of Super Mario video games. Fuzzy is a sort of Kirby, and Pvirus, is my Cerberus from my favorite video game, Resident Evil.

AIR POWER! I was attracted to Trifoliume for the same reason. The character I had in mind for a chocolate Kacheek was a sort of Hello Kitty/Chococat hybrid, if I may. I know it sounds cheesy, if not strange, but what else tops the queen of cute? I have always had a hobby of collecting Sanrio items as a little girl, and Chococat is my favorite Sanrio character. I guess the chocolate Kacheek resembles her so much, I connected the two together with a similar personality.

I also find Trifoliume to have a very pleasing name. Though long, as some may think, the name flows quite well. The way I pronounce it may be different from others, but I say it like so: try-fall-ee-oohm. The syllables almost carry together a chemical-sounding name, which I find interesting.

Along with her name, I still find myself wrapped around the idea that the nickname 'Truffles' fits a given name like Trifoliume. The beginning letters might have triggered it, but however it happened, I think such a nickname is fitting for a chocolate pet. C:

My third-ever pet was a Kacheek, and they've always been a favorite Neopet of mine. Once the chocolate color came out, I've been tranced into the adorable color.

I found Trifoliume through Neopound around the first week of August. All I could think at that point was that she was someone special. I started reading the guidelines for the UFA process, and read the example provided by Hanna, which was her own application for a pet. How could I measure up with no application experience?

I can only imagine what others have done in their applications, but the vision I have for Trifoliume is very special to me. She won't be a trophy pet, nor will she rot in a corner. I chose her because an instant personality came to mind, and someone I can relate to. Someone quiet but always optimistic, and always tries to keep the atmosphere in a merry mood.

Future Plans - - - - ♥

Something I've truly been passionate about has been drawing art for my neopets. I've competed in two Beauty Contests, winning gold both times with pictures I've entered for my Jelly Usul, as well as my (now labbed) Ghost Shoyru. Now that I have drawn Trifoliume many times, I feel comfortable enough to enter a picture of her in the BC.

Here are the BC entries of my old Shoyru and Usul. =)

Another thing I've recently found enjoyable has been entering the Neopian Times. One day, I would like to begin a new comic that stars Trifoliume, or perhaps have her guest star on my series Items 101!

Here are my two entries in the NT. ^^

I find my forte in creativity through visual art instead of writing pieces. Because this is my first application, I've worked hard to research others' stories and try to make my writing examples flow and easy to understand.

My birthday is coming up in September, and I'm wishing for NC from friends and family. I just have to explain to them what it is first. ^^; But in the mean time, I have a simple Raining Doughnuts Background for Trifoliume. ^^

Fitting, no?

Along with the background, I match colors to complete the page. The coding isn't mine, but I believe my permanent pets deserve more than the default lookup.

Chocolate & Pink theme is the new black!

Adoptables - - - - ♥
do not take them and claim them as your own!

Trifoliume!

Hello! Here are my yummy Kacheek adoptables. Remember: every Kacheek deserves a big red candy for always being so sweet and full of happiness!

**I'm having issues with the 'textarea' code, so if you'd like to use them, please link the image back with my user lookup. Thank you very much!**

Color your own with this makeable! ^__^
Have fun!

Thank You! - - - - ♥

Hanna, for allowing every user a chance to apply for Trifoliume!

The Pound Board, for critiquing and rating my application throughout the month.

, for helping me organize and show me how to make a good application.

Those who have made art for me in aid of my quest.

And you, yes you! For taking the time to read, and hopefully enjoy, this appeal of mine. =)

The End - - - - ♥

To conclude my application, I would most certainly love it if Trifoliume could stay with us! A Chocolate Kacheek is one of my dream pets, and it would mean the world to me if I were chosen as her owner. Thank you!

Hug me I squeek!

All art, except for Neopets images and otherwise stated, was done by me with MS Paint. Please do not steal her design/the images entirely!
