~*~A Little Introduction.~*~

~I grew up in the wild. Boring, right? Wrong. Life has been so difficult growing up. My mother refused to look at me, and my dad... well, for a long time I didn't even know you had to have a mom AND a dad to be created. When I was grown enough to live alone, I left. To my surprise, my mother stopped me before I went, telling me she loved me, and telling me this story. I've confirmed it to be true. This is my horrible history.

~*~Golden Bones~*~

~Mother was pretty, pink, spoiled, and abandon. Her owner went broke and left her to fend for herself. After only two days, she found a pirate burying his latest plunder. He took a liking to mom, and she took him as her mate. The gold and jewels he stole made her happy, and her happiness made the pirate happy. Things took a turn for the worse, however, when the pirate stole from the wrong human. This human liked to experiment, and his current obsession was combining the bone-look of a mutant lupe with the pirate-look of, well, a pirate kougra. What resulted was a furious mess: blood-red eyes; ribs, tailbone, and skull on the outside; pointed ears; deadly, un-retractable claws; razor sharp fangs; and jaws powerful enough to snap every chain holding the kougra and more. The new mutant killed the human, stole the goods, and escaped back to his mate.

~*~Looks to Leave~*~

~It was the night after he had been captured when they were reunited. The sky was so dark mom only recognized him by his voice, though his new eyes could see just fine. She was overjoyed at the loot he had brought back, and happy he was back himself. They curled up amongst the jewels and gold, and it was the last night they were together. When the sun came up, she saw him and screamed. No amount of pleading could hold her back, and mom left without looking back. It was months later when she realized the pirate she loved had become more than a mutant. He had become my father.

~*~Family and Friends~*~
| I met Chyla on her birthday, when, injured, I wandered out into her part of the city. She saw me in an alleyway and didn't even gasp. Well, except at my wounds. That impressed me, so when she offered food, warmth, and band-aids, I decided to follow her home. She cleaned my cuts, which are now scars despite her wonderful treatment, fed me well, and invited me to stay for Christmas. She made me feel normal. I guess I'll stay.

Fayetjuh is just as kind and caring as Chyla is, and she doesn't seem to really notice my ribs or claws. Its the pink stripe that interests her, and she gave me an early Christmas present of pink tail bangles to match my earrings. She shares my like of petpets, though is determined to someday teach me to swim. I quickly learned to call her 'sister', but I think I still might claw her ears off if she pushes me in water.

| Oh, Larken. She is always poking fun at me, calling me 'Scar' and laughing at my new jewelry, but I really don't think she means any harm. Lark is kind of a loner kougress, with a bit of an attitude. Fay says she has a kind, loving heart, but I have yet to see it. Oh well, I guess she's family now, too!
