welcome to fireworks

Hello, and welcome to the website for the guild Fireworks! Hopefully since you're reading this you're interested in joining the guild, and this page will aim to answer any questions you may have. Fireworks is a guild for those that are interested in anime and avatar collecting, this being our primary theme. However, our conversations span across a large range of topics, and there are plenty of members who have little to no interest in Asian culture. Similarly, there are plenty of us who aren't interested in collecting avatars! Our goal is simply to create an enjoyable atmosphere. In Fireworks, you can leave the real world for a few moments and just sit back and relax. (And also put off that homework you should be doing. Here at Fireworks, procrastination is a virtue!)

Fireworks is based off an earlier guild named Pandora. While many of our members previously found a home in Pandora, we aim to be a close-knit but still very open family that welcomes all possible members! We were founded on the 26th November 2010 by the lovely airinu, and the guild is now managed by descending (Sarah) and bakerspace999999999 (Yuki). If you have any questions, any of us three would be happy to help!

rules

1. Be nice and treat everyone fairly! Our guild doesn't hold what some people call "favourites". We treat everyone in the guild in the same position.

2. Don't begin drama or arguments. No-one likes it, and we won't tolerate unnecessary disputes. If a problem arises, please either take it to neomail or tell one of the council members. If you're not a part of the argument, please don't try to get involved, no matter how good your intentions are.

3. If someone asks you to rate their font/graphic/etc., don't be overly harsh. Try and offer constructive criticism!

4. No spamming the guild boards! The limit regarding the amount of posts you can make in a row is 4, and try not to hit that unless you have to.

5. The obvious one - follow all of TNT's rules. This especially includes not scamming others' items.

6. Be active! We understand that sometimes real life gets in the way (and we also understand that not everyone is as pathetic as your leader, who is on all day every day), but if you know you're going to be away for an extended period of time, please neomail Sarah. If you aren't active within the guild for a month, you risk being deleted.

7. Be semi-literate. While we don't demand perfect spelling and grammar in every post, it's pretty horrible being confronted with illegible sentences upon entering the guild board.

A color: This is the rank you get when you first join. Seven colours make a rainbow! I don't know what relevance that has, but it sounds inspirational.

A boat: A boat, you float. Hopefully. You've begun to climb the ranks of the Fireworks hierachy!

A Pokemon: Best rank ever? Best rank ever. At this level, you are essentially a sub-council member of the guild. Trusted by all, you are a well-loved and vital member of the community. ...Probably.
Members of this rank are chosen directly by the council. In some cases, applications will open.

requirements

Currently, Fireworks is a public guild! This means there are no current requirements to join. In the future, however, there's a chance we'll go private again, so join while you can. When private, our requirements usually consist of 100 avatars, a decent font, and an all-around nice personality.
