It all started...

I was born on Mystery Island and lived with an Indian tribe. I can't remember the name to the tribe, but I remember the people. They were very nice and like any Indian tribe they loved nature. I would often hunt for small animals such as rabbits, mice, and lizards for food, but when it was hard to find food they would give me some food in a clay dish. I trusted the tribe and they trusted me. I would also play with there children and keep them them company. Though I was not the only lupe that lived with them. There was another. Alice was her name and she was a beautiful lupe. Her fur was a light tannish peach color and front paws looked like she stepped in dark black paint. There was also a black line under each of her eyes. Around her neck she wore a hand made collar with two eagle feathers. To Indian, eagle feathers are very valuable and only sertain people can give them to you. She was very popular with the tribe so I guess that's why she had two feathers, but most of all she was the kindest and gentlest lupe you would every met. As you can see I really liked her and I soon found out that she felt the same. We started to hang out together more often and partisipated in the festibles the tribe held. I then asked her hand in marriage.

She excepted...

That's right, we were engaged. We were so happy together. More than you know, but this happiness didn't last for a while. One day, when the Indian tribe started to move for the winter, Alice and I got separated from them. We looked for days and days and we still could not find them. We soon found out that we were on our own. Alice and I decided that we shouldn't mourn of the past but adventure into the future and see what the world had to offer us. About three days before the day we were to be wed this happened, and while we slept in an old den a thunder storm started to start. Thunder and lightning roared and flashed through the sky. With one loud crack, thunder hit the ground and the ground set to flame. The fire spreaded quickly and soon it reached our hiding place. We quickly ran out of it, running to where we though it was safe. Alice and I sprinted with I in the lead. Soon we reached a gigantic wall of fire. I ran to the side trying to escape the burning inferno, but as I left the closing circle of fire, a tree feel down, blocked Alice's path. I watched in horror as she was consumed by the flames. The rain the started, but Alice was long gone. I sat there tears steaming down my face. I was silent, too shocked of what just happened. All that I had left of her was one of the eagle feathers that she wore on her neck.

I had lost hope...

What was the point of living? I had lost the tribe that I was close enough to that I called them my family, and the love of my life. Alice... I will never forget her, I can't forget her. She was too close to me to forget. I wander heading my head low for about two days. I didn't eat or sleep. I walk along the sandy beaches of Mystery Island. I tripped onto the ground and didn't even bother to get up. I rolled over onto my back, squinting my eyes at the rays of sunlight. Then a shadowy figure stepped into my feild of vision. It hovered above me, but what did care. Whatever it was could stare at me as long as it wanted, I wouldn't do anything about it. The figure then bended down and I got a better look of it. It was a human. The human wore forgien clothing signaling that he wasn't from here. I wasn't in a very good mood all of the sudden and I growled at him. All the human did was laugh. He pushed me over and grabbed me by the scruff of the neck. I growled louder but I was to weak do fight him. "You sound tough little guy,but lets see how tough you really are," he said walking along the beach. The human brought me to a harbor where other men like him were moving about. He walked onto it with me still in his hand. "How does this one look to you?" the man send holding me up to another one. "He's small for a regular sized lupe, but that might just be an advantage," the other man said. "Advantage? Advantage to what?" I thought glaring at the man in front of me. I bared my fangs at me and he too just laughed. "Haha! Well, load 'im up," the other man said pointing his thumb behind him at the boat. The human holding me walks on to the boat over to an iron cage. he opened the top to it and literally dropped me in there.

I sat in there...

The only thing in that cage was a bowl of food, water, and I. I had never been in a cage before so it was my first time being in one. I hated it. Over and over I bang into the side of the iron bars and sometimes I would bite on them. Trying so hard to get out over there, but it was useless. At one point I had got tired and colasped on the bottom. I though, if I was to escape where would I go? We we're now far from the harbor and I don't think I could swim that far away. I growl in anger. I was never ment to be locked up. I've always been free, like the wind. We sailed for a few days. I was asleep at the time the boat had reached land. I had a dream,but it was more like a nightmare. I dreamt of Alice's death. There was voices in it. They spoke to me. Telling me that I was the one who should have died, not Alice. That is was my fault that she is not here today, and I believe every signal word they said. I must have been crying in my sleep, because I woke up with teared eyes. The sound of a bell, the anchor dropping, and the footsteps of people was what probably woke me up. The same man that grabbed me came over to my cage and opened it. Holding me by the scruff of my neck I gave him another menacing growl. "Haha, well, says hello to your new home," he chuckled hold me up to see it. It was a large city and the smell of smog made me want to puke. I was so use to the fresh air of the island. When I looked at the water I saw that it was dirty like the city. I saw tons of trash and garbage everywhere. "How can someone be so cruel the environment?" I asked myself in my head. The man holding then brought me off the boat, which I was thankful for. I don't know how much longer I could take out at sea!

We entered a building...

It too, was dirty like the outside of it. It stunk of cigar smoke, and there was a lot of people giving loads of money to other people. "We brought you a fresh one," the man said laying me down on a table. I struggled to get free of it grasp. "Alright," said the man behind the table, "come with me." The man holding me and the man behind the table open a door and walk into the next room. There was a bunch on people in there, huddled around in a circle. The two men push there way through the group and over to the circle the people where huddled around, it was like a small arena. In the arena was another lupe bigger than me. The man holding me brought me up close to him. "You better do good," he said and I growled and bite his nose. He roared in anger and threw me into the pit with the other lupe. I yelped when I hit the hard cement ground. Slowly I got up from the group not to hurt. The bigger lupe stared and growled at me. I just looked at in in question not understanding that I was suppose to fight it. The lupe lunged and bite me on the leg and I yelped and whacked it back with my paw. It backed off for a bit and I sound up. There was no serious damage to my leg so I didn't have much to worry about. I looked at him like he was crazy, which he probably was. I gave him a look asking why he did that. They only thing he did was jump at me again, but this time I was ready. I leaped out the way and he followed me. It was the same for a couple of minutes till I decided to fight back. I closed my eyes and lunged.

I bit him as hard I as could...

I had never really hurt someone so hard before that the shouted. That what the other lupe did when I bit him... on the neck that is. The scream off it was a horrible sound, it was also the first time I had actually killed someone. I lent go of the lupe and it fell to the ground lifeless. I stood there frozen as I looked at the lupe with my eyes wide of shock. I had killed one of Mother Nature's creatures. Blood covered my mouth and the humans surrounding us cheered. How stupid were they! I had just killed someone! And they're happy?! My rage started to build up. My eyes turning from shock to angry and I bared my teeth and growled like a mad dog. When the man that kidnapped me from the island came from the crowd I turned and growled at him. I then bit him on the leg and the man howled in pain. Then I saw my opportunity, one of the doors was open. I dashed towards it before anyone could grab me and ran out into the streets. Soon I came upon an dark ally and I hide there.

No one came looking for me...

I cried has hard as I could. Alise had died and I just killed someone. That lupe may have not been nice, but it was still alive and had a soul. Things were all down hill from then. I soon learned that you had to fight to be able to live on the city streets. It was tough but some how I made it through. I ate whatever I could find that looked edible. My food was mainly the rats I could catch off of the streets but sometimes ,if I was lucky, I found something good. But most of my days living there was spent fighting. I won some and lost the other times. The fights were either started for: food, territory, or a good place to sleep. Everyday I yearned more and more to find a way back to Mystery Island. Though, through all of what happened I still had that eagle feather. It's was my most priced possession and it still is to this day. I guarded it with my life. Well as the days went on in that city not much changed.

Until one day...

It wasn't much different from the rest. I had just gotten out of another fight, I had lost. I layed down on the curb licking my wounds. Then a strange girl came up to me. She looked normal, not that pretty, and looked about 13 years old. She had short dirty blond hair and really blue eyes. She wore normal clothing, a black T-shirt with some colorful cartoon characters on it and dark blue jeans. She was walking by and right before she left she turned around and looked at me. Her face lightened up and she looked at me. The girl was starting to freak me out so I gave her a strange look. She smiled ear to ear and walked back over to me and bent down. "Foxxie!" she says and then she scratched my head. Even though the petting did feel good she kinda scared me and so I bit her. The girl gives a gasp of pain and pulls her hand back. "Geeze! What did you do that for!" she said. "It's not very nice to bite people you know!
Like I care," I said in a heartless tone. Living in that city slowly made me cold and heartless not carring for much. "Well, I don't care what you say," she says and with that she picks me up. "You're coming home with me!" Now this strange girl really was creeping me out. "HEY! Put me down!" I yelled squirming, but I couldn't do much because I was still weak from the fight. "No, you're hurt and staying in the dirty old city will just make it worse," she says walking off cradling me in her arms.
