The Giving Tree is all about helping item collectors.
This page is a branch of The Giving Tree, designed to help members obtain the Pack rat avatar.

The Avatar

The pack rat avatar is awarded when you have 1,000 different items in your Safety Deposit Box.
Items in your inventory do not count.

This page serves as a list to help you find enough items to reach that goal.
Listed below are more than 1,400 inexpensive items.

Most of the items listed range in price from 1 to 300 nps.
They are listed in the same order that they will apear in your Safety Deposit Box.
The listings have been divided for easier reference into two sections, and then into Groups of about 50 each.

Some of the items listed are collected by Giving Tree members.
Once you have achieved your goal, they are very happy to receive those items!
If the item isn't collected by anyone, there is always The Money Tree.


Known bugs:

~Items with the word "onion_/ in them will not display properly, I had to add a / after them.





Tips and Hints

A Tip for windows users:
This page has been made to make comparison easy. Try opening this page in one window, and your Safety Deposit Box in another.
Then right click on your taskbar and select "tile windows vertically". You can then do a side by side comparison.

While saving for the avatar:

~ Don't add unique stamps to your album, once you do they can't be removed.
~ Hang on to unique food items. You can always check your pets into the neolodge to be fed.
~ Wait to read books to your pets. Keep them in your SDB until you have reached your goal.
~ Empty out your gallery and closet.
~ Be sure to have a neodeck (there are random events around the site that award you cards if you have one), but keep your cards in your SDB.
~ Wait to turn in your treasure maps, Lab map pieces, or World Challenge puzzle pieces.
~ Don't forget about the battledome equipment that may be attached to your pet.
~ Check for any unique items that are in your neohome.
