Webs

Like the webs of spiders, interlocked, laced together, beaded with dew, Gossamer Webs Ixi is a site to bring ixi lovers together, making a web of beautiful ixi that will make Neopia gasp.

Something you should know about Gossamer Webs Ixi is that this site is for all ixi lovers everywhere or those who are just curious. It's a sort of directory for the ixi with designs and characters. There are not many rules for entering your ixi here, except that it must have a design or character. Character can be anything from a unique personality to a job at a cafe. If your ixi doesn't have either of these qualities yet, don't be sad, you can start giving your ixi a character now.

Site statistics:
Gossamer Web's Ixi stems from a site I used to have that made custom ixi adoptables. The site was called Tina's Ixi Customs and the two names are pretty much interchangeable.
I started Tina's Ixi Customs in mid-2009.
The site is currently an ixi directory for ixi with designs or characters.

Adding Your Ixi

First of all, when you register your ixi/ixis you will get a custom adoptable for each ixi you successfully register. The time it takes me to put these adoptables up will differ for each ixi. I'm a horrible procrastinator XD but I promise I will try to get these done as quickly as I can. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Okay, now for the fun stuff. This is the form for adding your ixi/ixis:
If you have multiple ixi, send multiple forms.

Ixi's name: This refers to their actual name that they have as a neopet.

Character Name: The name of the character. Like my ixi's name is Tinament Lockwood. If they just have a first name, that's fine. This is all very flexible.

Nickname: Self-explanatory. If they don't have a nickname (or don't want the world knowing their nickname) you can just put their first name here.

Gender: This is pretty self-explanatory.

Age: Their age as a character, not their age as a neopet. This means don't tell me they're however many days/hours old.

Anthro/Quad: Tell me if your ixi has an anthro/quad/both design. The meaning of Anthro means that they walk on their (probably 2) back legs. Quad means they are a quadruped (walk on four legs) and are more animal than human.

Roleplay Status: (Open/Closed) Roleplaying status is if you mind people neomailing you about interacting with your pet. Its too complicated to explain in depth here, but if you want a good idea about what roleplaying is about, go lurk on the Roleplay board.

Description: This basically means describe your ixi's personality/history/powers/job/favorite food/hobbies. Whatever. This is also pretty flexible. Length can be as long as you like. As a matter of fact I'd prefer longer to shorter.

Personality: Your ixi must have a personality. If it doesn't you shouldn't even be here. Go make them one and come back. If their personality is that they are kind of weak and personality-less . . . That's okay ^^ I guess.

Contact Account: The name of the account people should contact you on about roleplays art or whatnot.

Reference picture/text: Put the link to your ixi's reference here. Text refs are fine, I really don't care much either way. If your ixi doesn't have a ref, then just write me a quick neomail (seperate) on what they look like.

Does your ixi have a page? Yes or no. This means do they have a petpage that is edited to show information on their character.

Does your ixi have a lookup? Yes or no. Is their lookup edited to show info on them and their character.

What should I refer to you as? Your nickname, so that people will know what to call you if they need to neomail you.

Adoptables

I guess I shouldn't really call these adoptables, but it's got the same idea behind it. The idea is, when you sign your ixi up, you get either/or/both a quad an an anthro adoptable for EACH ixi you sign up. Only as I said before, these won't be like normal adoptables, which are too annoying for me to make with the software I have. I'll draw instead, a unique image for each ixi, that will best display their markings, etc. When you sign up, I'll send you a reply with a number for each ixi you register, and then you can fill out the form below for your custom art. You can put these adoptables on your pages, but you MUST link back!

Rules are:
1) The obvious, no taking someone else's adoptable and editing it for one of your pets/ixi.
2) Always give credit! Never claim that you made the adoptable, or put it somewhere without linking back somewhere on the page, preferably on the adoptable itself.
3) NEVER STEAL! (this is redundant I know, but extreemly important)

Ixi's number: If you sent in the form for adding your ixi to the directory, I should have mailed you back with a number. Put it here.
