RULES

• Your account must be 4 months or older

• Don't use chatspeak.

• Use common sense. If a pet's a she, call it a she. Use the pet's name. Etc.

• Be honest. This really counts.

• Please include the phrase "Shoyru Shimmy" creatively somewhere in your application. This helps me know you actually read these rules.

• Make sure to include the following:
  --All of your accounts
  --Which account the pet will go to IF you get chosen
  --Brief description of any plans (BC? RP? etc)
  --Whatever you feel that (HONESTLY) will make you stand out from other applicants

• Keep these in mind when writing your application:
  --Neomail or petpage is fine. I don't prefer one over the other
  --Artwork is fine if it's your artwork. I don't really care much about fanart or toyboxes...I don't see how it makes a difference to your application
  --Stories and examples of RP are fine, but keep it short. I tend to get bored with apps that go on and on. I do applaud your creativity, though.
  --I tend to ask questions once you turn in your app. Don't worry if you feel you left something out. If I think it's important I'll probably ask anyway.

• Here's how this will work:
  --Deadlines will be listed both under the pet photo here and on their pet lookup.
  --Deadlines will be short. These are relatively Quick Adoptions.
  --If you need an extension for some reason, NM me and I will grant up to a week, but you shouldn't need it.
  --Please make sure to answer any questions I ask in response to your application.
  --I usually send a "hey I got your application" Neomail as soon as I get your app. If you haven't heard from me in 48 hours from sending your app, feel free to give me a poke to make sure I got it.

SUBMITTING

You read the rules! That's awesome. Here's what you do next:

• If you are doing a petpage application, get started! Just make sure to include the answers to the questionaire somewhere in your application. Then send a neomail with the pet's name as the subject and a link to your application in the body to my main account only: reiven_zero.

• If you are doing a neomail application, get started! Make sure to send the Pet's Name as the subject. More than one Neomail is fine, and I save them all to an outside source so they don't get lost. Remember to ONLY send applications to my main account: reiven_zero.

F.A.Q.

Q: I'd like to adopt your disco shoyru/Tiesi. Shoyru Shimmy.
A: Tiesi is not ever ever ever EVER up for adoption. Ever. He is my most permanent of permanent pets. Ever.

Q: Can their genders be changed?
A: Yes. Although if they are being held on a side account you may have to do it yourself. Just let me know in your app if this is what you want to do (so when you refer to them as a 'he' the whole time and she's a she, I'll know!)

Q: Can I put music in my application?
A: I'm not going to stop you, but my computer is always on mute so I won't hear it. I'd put that effort somewhere else

Q: Can I repaint/morph them?
A: Technically, once you adopt them it's your pet and you can do what you like. There may be some I'd ask you didn't morph or paint, but really I don't mind

Q: Do you mind if I am applying for another pet at the same time?
A: If you feel you can put equal amounts of effort into all applications at the same time, I don't mind at all. However! If you are applying for another pet of the same species/color as my pet and you are ACCEPTED for the other pet, you will not be chosen for my pet UNLESS you have shown a great reason (have different personalities for twins, etc).

Q: Can I re-use an application?
A: That depends. If you have already gotten a pet with that application...no. If you have not been accepted for a pet with that application but the design/character etc are the same, yes. Just keep in mind - there may have been a reason that application wasn't accepted for the other pet.

Q: Can I use a premade layout?
A: Of course! I'd love to see edits or even a layout a friend coded for you, but premades are perfectly acceptable! (I'm no code genius myself). Make sure to leave the credits, though, or your application will be rejected

Q: Can I neomail you?
A: If you want to chat and let me get to know you a bit more, or have questions I haven't answered here, sure! I'd love to know about my applicants. If you just want to bug me about when I am choosing or if I have gotten you application, then no.

Q: It says you've blocked me?! Whaaaat?
A: If you're blocked this means you have quit on me in KeyQuest. I've never blocked anyone except for this reason. Quitting in KeyQuest because you're not winning or didn't like that roll is cheating. I don't adopt my pets to cheaters. Dishonest in game, dishonest in an app. Play fair.

Q: Neofriend?
A: Not unless we are really going to stay in touch. I'm a bit picky about my neofriends and keep only a small list.

Q: Could you NM me when you have a ____ UFA?
A: Ummm...no. I put in the effort to buy a lab map, feed, read to, zap and care for these pets. I put in the effort to advertise them on certain boards and sites. I put in the effort to read horrible, chatspeak applications (along with the good ones). But now I have to seek you out too? Come on...meet me part way here.
