I have no idea why people create threads telling people to 'get over' something and stop complaining. Why don't they just take their own advice and 'get over' people complaining?!

There are moments that a lot of people who help out on the HC will recognise. The OP wants help, you give it, they misunderstand and then act as if you are the one that got it wrong!

I think the person featured next was just looking to make trouble! It was the day before Poogle day and I had made a comment on someones' thread about poogles when the next person butted in.

I duly explained that laughing at something does not preclude helping someone, but it appeared that there was another misinterpretation to be wrung out of my post!

I never thought anything so innocent as saying I like to laugh at the word poggle would be so misconstrued : P You may notice my typo, which is why I don't laugh AT people who misspell. I do it so often myself - d'oh!

..but for someone so 'holier than thou' about my supposed infraction, she did not have the manners to come back and apologise for having a go at me about it, unlike the person in the previous screenie who did and was only a child.

The next day......um.... *giggle* !

Now the next 12 screenies are all from one board. They are an example of when you really wish you had never started explaining what you meant in your post because before you know it, you are in the middle of something you never intended in the first place. It is also one of those occasions HC'ers will recognise where they feel they have been caught up in an episode of 'The Twilight World'! It features the same person as in the screenies above, who did not want to be screenied!

Ok, the poor OP was a victim of CG'ing, and I was initially posting support.

But the next comment was irksome to me. (Yes I know, I should have left it alone!)

So as anyone of a not limited understanding will realise, it is normal to ask for evidence to back up a sweeping statement like that before believing something - otherwise we could all be going round saying the most outrageous things and people taking us at our word!

...and here, in jumps our friend of the previous screenies. Where she gets the idea that only TNT need evidence that they are ice happy, or even why they would need that evidence is beyond me X_X

Anyway, because the idea that TNT needs evidence they are ice happy is so ridiculous to me, I came to the conclusion that she must have misunderstood what I was asking evidence for and thought I wanted evidence that the OP had been CG'ed.

But my explanation was not the end of it...and now she seems to not understand the meaning of exclamation marks also.

In the meantime, I replied to the original person I was talking to, thinking that my explantion was the end of the misunderstanding!

But unfortunately not. At this point I wondered if the person was deliberately trying to pick an argument..

..and now I began to think if the person is quite all there.

Priceless!! Note the exclamation marks ;) If she wasn't mistakenly thinking I was wanting proof of the OP having been cg'ed, what did she think I meant? It goes back to her first statement making no sense in terms of TNT needing proof that they go round freezing people a lot!

Are you still here after that lot? Well done, you can pat yourself on the back and move on to some shorter screenies :P
