**The majority of this petpage takes place a few years back in Iizen's story - so despite the fact that Iizen did lose his memory at one point, since then he's experienced a lot to remember instead (:

She said my name was Iizen...
But they didn't used to call me that.

The result of the kindest of heart
losing their soul.

Greetings, guest. I'm not sure exactly why, or how you have stumbled across my petpage. I'm guessing this means you'd like to learn a bit about me though, right? I don't have a problem with that, just take what's happened to me to thought. I'd hate for someone else to fall under the same fate, especially if I had the chance to stop it...

δ My Story δ

I don't remember when exactly it started...
I was standing in the middle of a forest, surrounded by the scent of blood, and plenty of evidence as to where it was coming from. Everything around me seemed to be marked by the process of a war, including a few armor-cladden characters apparently running off to catch up with the rest of their mass; but that wasn't what really caught my attention. What caught my attention were the countless creatures, all of various shapes, sizes, species, with only one similar trait.
Silver eyes.
Silver eyes that were now hazed over with death as these creatures swung from branches with ropes around their neck.
At first I didn't know who could order something this cruel, but only a few minutes later the answer stepped up behind me, and greeted me with a hand on the shoulder. Almost like a friend.
No, I would soon learn that this witch didn't want friends.
She wanted pawns.

I could see right away this Korbat was not one to be trifled with. She had the appearance of one no older then twenty-five, and yet her eyes glistened with knowledge of far more years; that among other things. Schemes. Plans for the future.
This Korbat smirked down at me after pulling her hand away, and crossing her arms in a rather teenager-esque fashion.
How did you enjoy seeing those former friends of yours again?
I didn't have any idea as to what she was talking about. What friends? I didn't remember anything beyond a few moments before she arrived.
Apparently however, the Korbat found nothing odd about my lack of response and turned around to head in the same direction those solider did not to long before, beckoning me to follow her.
That's what I thought. Next time we see them though, I'll let you finish the job. As a reward for being such a loyal pet.
Clearly, something was very wrong here.
I had no idea who this Korbat was.
Or what she was talking about.
And the harder I began to think about it, the less answers I came up with.
And the biggest question that came to my mind...
Who am I?

The Korbat led me to a clear opening in the middle of the forest, a large lake filled the center, while countless members of what I could only fit as her army swarmed into two openings into the ground. I couldn't see where these openings went to, only hear faint screams from far below, and feel the ground vibrate ever so slightly beneath my feet. It seemed that, who ever this army was attacking, they were unprepared and being taken down rather effortlessly.
Go on Iizen, you have work to do.
Iizen? So that was my name?
I did as I was told, unsure of anything else to do, and followed the others underground. The tunnel seemed to go on for miles, until we finally passed through a large broken gate, and entered a massive, bloody fray.
Where hundreds of creatures were fighting for their lives. I couldn't help but stare in awe.
Not at the blood and violence. No, I despised that.
But the others...the silver-eyed ones, they fought with grace that no mortal should be able to obtain; while words flowed from their mouths to release spells and magic against their foes.
Either way, they were severely out-numbered, and I watched as even children put up their final stand in battle.
I spun around, and began to run back the way I came when a deep rumble came from the middle of this particular underground room. (Tunnels led to what I could only imagine were parts of an entire underground city, as the scene before me took place on mere ruins) I looked back just as a large creature burst out of the ceiling. A blue dragon, numerous feet in length. Feet like that of a bird, mane like that of a horse, and grasping tightly to one spike on his head, was a small, young Shoyru.
I later learned this dragon was the subject of multiple myths, named Zasiken over the years.
I never learned the name of the Shoyru, but I imagine I will see her again. Something about her let me know that she would survive that battle, and those two would be the turning point in victory.
I small feeling of happiness entered my mind at that moment, but was quickly replaced with self-awareness.
And so I continued to run back outside.

The silence back on the surface was chilling, my ears folded back in anxiety.
The sudden lack of commotion made me nervous.
I slowly made my way back in the forest, any place was better then here. Past the litter of dead bodies on the ground, past the ones hanging from the trees, until at last it was just...peaceful. I finally had a place to simply think. Suddenly being thrown into a war had scattered my thoughts, just a bit.
I knew only one thing about myself, and that was my name.
Iizen
I wasn't very fond of the name. The way the Korbat used it made it sound tainted by something.
But a name was a name, and it was better then nothing. Of course, even that slight bit of information was soon made far more complicated, as I heard the voice of others nearby.
When I approached, they seemed to recognize me instantly; that made me uneasy again.
The creatures I saw were interesting. A blue maraquan draik, silver hair draping over her shoulders; and a red pyro-looking Eyrie. The Draik was the first to speak.
H.M.?
Wait, what?!
Is it actually you this time, H.M.?
H.M.? Another title? What did it stand for?
My mouth twitched as thoughts raced through my head. I simply didn't understand...and I found that feeling to be unnerving. So without another word, I took off in the opposite direction.

When I finally reached the outskirts of that forest, I had arrived on a beach. The weather had become terrible; a sharp wind tugged harshly at my fur, stinging rain fell from the skies, and relentless waves pushed the water up the sand that licked my paws.
My paws...they were trembling, and I shut my eyes tight as I barely heard myself whisper that same question again.
Who am I?
You are Iizen; the only member of that army back there actually worth something.
It was that Korbat again. Her tone was far to smug for comfort. Since when was someone's life not worth something?
Who are you then? And what's happened to me?
My name is Kaygura, the Korbat began, while pacing slowly with unnatural ease in the current conditions, As for you...you're dead.
She paused, perhaps merely to see me react to this statement with a sudden rush of fear. And satisfied with that, she continued with a grin.
I brought you back to life, Iizen. And I figure it's only fair that I am paid back for such a generous action.
How so?
Simple. Obedience. Ever step you walk, every word you speak...every breath you now take, is only because I allow it. That means you fight when I ask, and kill when I command, just as I recently did.
So you claim you gave me a life, just to take it away again? Not much of a favor if you ask me...
I didn't ask you. I suppose I couldn't expect you to fully appreciate this gift, but you shour rest assured that it was a gift of generosity.
I DON'T REMEMBER ANYTHING! This gift of yours is bit short coming on positive side effects!
Kaygura smirked at this, apparently amused at such an outburst.
Memories can be replaced. Your old ones are lost, but you don't need them.
I finally straightened out, composing myself and shaking my head slightly.
I don't care, I want them back. I'm going to find them.
Kaygura suddenly let out a cackle, joined, as if on cue, by a strike of lightning in the distance. It suddenly became clear to me that this sudden storm wasn't just a coincidence with Kaygura's presence.
Spare me, please. You honestly think you can just run away from me? You'll be wasting your time either way.
Just as you will when you actually try and stop me.
And for the third time that night, I found myself running away. I wasn't sure where I gained that confidence, to defy such a clearly powerful creature, but I knew, somehow, that staying with Kaygura was the last thing I wanted to do.
And I have yet to regret that decision.

δ Memories δ

These are the things I've managed to gather about myself either from encounters with past friends, or bits and pieces coming back to me.
* My name is either "H.M." or "Iizen
* I was once friends with ones named Rasconza, Icy, Oohao, Tiger, Plaz, Aliana, and apparently others I have yet to gather the names of.
* Kaygura brought me back to life. Apparently Rasconza was somehow connected to my original death.
* Aliana in particular was one of my closest friends. (Apparently she's changed a bit since I last saw her, but I'm not sure if it was for better or worse. She seems very nice, although troubled by something that keeps her from being complete)
* My friends and I managed to stop Kaygura from creating chaos on this planet once.
* I used to enjoy cooking. I don't remember anything about it anymore though.
* I am twenty years old; not sure when my birthday is though.
* I had a slight ability of pyrokinesis, but I no longer know how to use that either.
* I have died more than once.
All of this information is simply what I've been told or seen. I'm not exactly sure if it's all true or not, but it's all I have for now...

δ Family and Friends δ

Naturally by losing some of my memory, I do not remember who all my friends and family are yet. As for new ones, Dragon is always open for roleplaying any of her pets, including myself, in order to meet new ones. ^^

These are some of the friend's I've made after the 'incident'.

Kipardi
Kipardi is a nice Lupe, always trying to help people when ever he can it seems. He's not much of one for fighting, and generally avoids it when ever he can.

(Lawl under construction)

Liked the music? Great, it's called Darkness of the Unknown. You can find it at ffinsider.net, under the Kingdom Hearts 2 soundtrack.
Please don't take it from this page, it uses up my bandwidth.
