A perfect day for a bit of a stroll outside, maybe take some photos or go see if you can spot wild Pteris? Sounds like a plan, better head outside right away! And so, you happily skip about on the paths of Neopia, and soon end up to one leading towards the plains. You know the path ends just before them, then you'd need to cross them if you wanted to go to Haunted Woods.. But of course you don't.. Not just yet. But you anyway want to check the plains out, there are known to be all sorts of Neopets that are yet to be tamed! What a wonderful thing to go see them. As you near the plains, you first hear a sound of hooves galloping upon the soft ground, the newgrown grass swaying in the war breeze just a little. The gallop fades away, and a buzzing sound replaces it. Odd, what might be coming ahead? A yellow dot raises high to the sky within a great distance, and you look after it. Is it a Pteri? No, it must be something bigger. The dot starts to head towards you, and when it's low enough you can tell that it's actually an Ixi! Ixi doe of light brown and honey pelt to be precise. She lands near you and trots up to you, a wide grin on her face. Hi there, traveler! Lovely weather, aye? Welcome to the plains. She prances upon her spot, transparent pixie wings fluttering on her sides slowly. I'm Thaloria, Thalo if you like. Such a pleasure to meet you... Um.. What is your name again? She smiles sheepishly, eyes squinted. I'm guest.. Nice to meet you too, Thalo. She nods to you, and flicks her ears. Tag along, guest! Since you've come to the plains, I suppose you'd like to know more about them. I've lived here for as long as I can remember. She starts to head towards the direction she once came from, a cheery smile on her face. Oh well, why not to follow.. †::Story::† yes, I do have a story of me, and the plains. I will tell you now." It was quite a lot the same kind of a day like it is today. Sunny and warm. Karo was venturing through Neopia, in a search of a Neopet. She had checked everywhere so far, the Adoption Center and travelled across lands to see if there were pets left alone, but hadn't found anything that she liked so far. Of course saddened by this she returned home empty handed. Days came and passed, and soon she decided, that it was time to create a pet. Heading towards the big Central she wondered in her mind what she might want. She was given a form where she was meant to briefly inform her preferences. Once done with this, she was given pictures to look at. Picking a bright yellow doe, this pet was soon delivered to her. "I'd name her Alora. Alora after Sunset." She stated and the name was given to this sweet bundle of joy. Growing together the two were quite fond of each other, as was the quickly growing family. My first set of wings sprouted, beautiful with feathers on them, I tell you. But all that is good, comes to an end at a time. The account she had her pets signed under became unavaileable, frozen, they said. I was torn away from my original family and was left living alone, sick and starving, begging in the city streets. Once sure my end was nearing, I tried to sleep my pain away as someone stumbled upon me. I was overjoyed to see someone familiar through the fog blurring my vision. It was Karo, she had found me! We slowly gained health as she took me repeatedly to the Healing Springs. We were provided a small house, and even our financial side was now recovering. My sisters I never saw again, but I was soon given new siblings. Two of them were the dearest, but one, an Ixi of my kind acted cold towards everyone. We grew enemies of each other, thought after taking badly together we decided not to harm each other with anthing else but words. Time passed, and the family grew, the house grew, the money grew. Everything was seemingly turning alright, as it happened again. I was torn from my family once again. Wandering, that I did a lot by the time for I knew my keeper was still somewhere. Once happening upon a dark grove in the woods, I found my dearest enemy. My sibling Inuria. She was in good shape, for she knew how to survive. Sticking together, we managed. She killed alot by that time, either out of frustraton or for the fun of it, but hardly ever for anything necessary. I became scared of her, for I was not strong as she was. Eventually our keeper found us as we were wandering across the plais. Since then we have stuck up to each other, except for the few. Now we live in the plains between Neopian Central and Haunted Woods, we might one day get a map t show you. The mansion towers three floor high and is painted blue. It has the largest yard, as no other buildings sit on the plains. She looks at you joyfully, not even the slightest bit of sadness in her eyes, thought her past has not been the most pleasant. †::Family::† Oh! I have a large family. I will list some up. †::Family::† availon/Karo is our keeper and caretaker. She has her hands full all the time, so I help her out by watching after the younger pets with a little assistance from the other large ones. Karo is nice, and hardly ever refuses a chitchat. Inu... I hate her. She might have kept me alive once, but that was only to her own benefit. She's ruthless, shamelessly evil, cunning and blood thirsty. She is practically the evil itself. My advice is, don't go anywhere near her. Julie is my forgetful Zafara sister. She was gone for a while, training, and wandered back half a year later with her head totally empty. She couldn't remember practically anything of her past, not even her name. She still doesn't, poor soul. I have alot of cousins, why not to visit them if you have time.
