It is late afternoon, you have spent the last few hours touring the Lost Desert & have decided to spend the night in one of its high end hotels. As you enter the gargantuan space, you notice that the whole building has been elaborately decorated with large and breathtakingly beautiful artworks etched on to what seem to be solid gold plates on the walls. Upon further inspection, you realise that you were right, and not only is it solid gold, but it is covered in many exquisite gemstones of many varieties. You slowly walk back from the wall and approach the young Draik sitting at the reception desk.
Welcome to the Royal Hotel, how may I be of assistance to you?" He says as he glances up from a two inch thick stack of paperwork.
I was just wondering if you might happen to have any spare rooms at the moment?"
The Draik shakes his head and returns to the paperwork,
Sorry, we rarely accept any bookings later than two weeks until the planned date of stay. And particularly now, as the prince is staying for the week.
The prince?" you say, tilting your head slightly.
His highness, Prince Tetchua, who is the son of the Lost Desert's King." He says.
So there aren't any rooms available in the whole building?" You ask, surprised that a building this large wouldn't have at least a few vacant rooms.
Well, I suppose that there is always Room 37..." He replies, closing his eyes briefly, as if to indicate that he isn't quite sure. "I suppose that it would be okay... Here is your key. Your room is on the second floor, but I am not sure how long it has been since it was last used. Or cleaned, for that matter. Enjoy your stay." He says as he hands you the key. You then walk up the stairs on the left side of the entrance to your room.

After a minute or so of walking up the hotel's grand spiral staircase, you arrive at the door of your room. You quickly put in the key and turn the latch, opening the door to your room.
The Draik was definitely right about it not being used for some time.
A very thin layer of dust covers most of the appliances around your room and has also coated the -blocked- You look at the window for a few seconds, and realise that part of the dust is a much darker colour than the rest. You walk over to it, and drag your fingers through the dust to reveal that the dark dust was the shadow of a Techo that appears to be asleep on your -blocked-
You decide to ask him if he would like to come inside & knock on the -blocked-
Hello, uh, would you like to come inside?"You ask.
He looks at you through the glass and nods, so you open the window for him and he enters the room.
Thank you." He says, "I was about to get going anyway.
You nod. Now that you can see him properly, you realise that he is a Desert Techo, obviously a member of a very affluent family.
So, who might you be?" he asks you, looking at you with bright blue eyes.
You proceed to tell him your name and politely ask him his.
My name is Tetchua." he says, looking quite puzzled at the fact you asked him his name. "I am the prince of these parts. But please, feel free to just call me by my name. Being called 'Your Royal Highness' and 'Prince' is rather getting to me lately. So, what brings you to the Lost Desert?" He asks.
You feel your cheeks turn bright pink in embarrassment as you realise that you should have instantly recognised him.
I am so sorry for not recognising you, I am not from here. I am just touring around neopia... Are you sure that it is okay to not refer to you as 'Prince'? " You ask. "Yes, its fine." He says, glancing around your room.
Perhaps I shall take you on a tour of the desert sometime soon, after I see to it that this filthy room is cleaned of course." He says as he heads for the door.
I will return tomorrow, if that is fine with you." He tells you, leaving before getting your reply.
Huh..." you say to yourself as you sit on the closest chair.
That was.. odd.

About Tetchua-

The Quiet Prince

Tetchua is the son of the current pharaoh of the Lost Desert, & is always treated as such. He is pampered & has been since birth. He is generally quiet around most people but is very able to order others around if need be.
He spends most of his days lying in the sun in secluded places, such as windows & rooftops.
