In Hannah and the Ice Caves you have help from your friend Armin the Bori. He may not be able to jump as high as Hannah, and he can't swim but Armin can crawl through snow and destroy some enemies by running them over. Hannah on the Rocks Arrowned Sunken Treasures Armin's Task ***Free Fall ***Winter Wonderland ***Avalanche! ***Jump ***Muahaha I'll start out with an introduction to this game. There are 30 levels in all. You are given two characters to use for all of the levels. In each level, you need to collect all of the treasures using each character, and then you need to guide them both to the door that leads to the next level. The main character is named Hannah. She is the Usul and she is the character that you start out with on each level. The next character is named Armin. He is a Bori who I find very helpful in many places. Controls: Use the left and right arrow keys to move. You can use the down arrow key to crawl and the up arrow key to look above you. Use the spacebar to jump. To rotate between characters, press the 'S' key on your keyboard. Level 1: Hannah Treasures: 5 Hannah: Go to the right, jumping over spikes as you go. Go underwater and collect the treasures and get the ones that are above sea level. Go back left and into the door (guide Armin into the door as well). Level complete. Level 2: Armin Treasures: 5 Armin: Go to the left and crawl through the snow tunnel. Walk right through the moving ice skeleton, you can crush him. Collect the five treasures and head back to the door. Level complete. Level 3: Icy Boulders Treasures: 5 Hannah: Jump up on the platforms collecting treasures and pushing boulders off the edge. Be sure that you crawl under the flying snowball, as he can hurt you. When you have collected all five treasures, go to the far right and to the door. Have Armin go over there as well. Level complete. Level 4: Volley of Arrows Treasures: 5 Hannah: Go left and break the arrow. Jump over the crate and then break the next arrow. Break the final one and move out of the way. Collect the treasure. Armin: Crawl through the snow tunnel on your right. Break the arrows, collect the treasure, and meet Hannah at the door. Level complete. Level 5: It's Dynamite! Treasures: 10 Heart Crate Armin: Go break the dynamite crate. Grab the treasures and then hit the ice skeleton FROM BEHIND. Jump up, hit the arrow, and collect the treasures that fall. Go right through the secret area (it looks like a normal wall but you can walk through it, it is in the bottom right corner).  Go through the next secret area and grab the bonus life. Go back through the two secret areas and wait at the door. Hannah: Go through the first secret area and jump up on the platform. Break the arrow and go down to grab the treasures. Then go back and meet Armin at the door. Level complete. Level 6: Warm Up Treasures: 20 Gem Crate Hannah: Collect the treasures on your left then go over to the right. Duck under the flying snowball, and climb up the ladder. There is another secret area at the top of the ladder, just inside of the right wall. Go down to the end of the tunnel and collect the gem that is there. This is worth over 5,000 points, so be sure to get it! Now go left grabbing treasures as you go along. Go up the platforms then to a ledge on the far left wall. After you have all twenty treasures, go down to the door. Lead Armin there as well (remember that he can go through the snow tunnels). Level complete. Level 7: Snow Beast Attack! Treasures: 20 Gem Crate Hannah: Go up and to the right and break the arrow. Armin: Go down and to the right. Go down the ladder and collect the treasures. Go over to the right and up the ladder. Go left and break the arrow, but be sure to move out of the way! Hannah: Jump across the gap and go up the platforms. Break the arrow and push the boulder off the edge. Now continue on to the right. Go down the ladder into the first gap. Grab the treasures and head back up. When you go down the second gap, grab the treasures then go up and through the platform above you. Do the same for the third gap. Go up the hill and then back down. Wait on the ladder. Armin: Go following Hannah's path, but this time just skip over the three gaps. Go to where Hannah is waiting and go in the secret area inside the right wall. Grab the gem, then go up, to the right, and wait at the door. Hannah: Go down the ladder and through the water to the left. Wait here until you see a white horned creature come along. As soon as he turns around, follow him. Jump over these Snowbeasts as they head towards you. Turn around once you have the last four treasures. Go back up the ladder and meet Armin at the door. Level complete. Level 8: Spooky Caves Treasures: 20 Hannah: Go onto the platform and break the arrow. Grab the treasures that are to the right. Now go up the staircase made of ledges and wait to the left of the next arrow. When the flying snowball that is lower to the ground comes into view on your left, break the arrow. There is a secret area in the far left wall right under the dynamite. Go through it and grab the treasures. Now go back to the middle of the cave and up the ladder. Go right or left, it doesn't matter. Break the dynamite crate and run to the other side and do the same. Jump up to the next level of this cave. Break the arrows and grab the treasures that are now clear. Go down on the left side and into the door. Bring Armin there as well. Level complete. Level 9: Nothing but Nothing Treasures: 20 Hannah: Go to the left and through all the passages of water. Jump over the snowbeast when you get to the end and break the arrow right by the door. Armin: Wait for the boulders to fall and then meet Hannah at the door. Wasn't that simple? Level complete. Level 10: The Glacier of Doom Treasures: 20 Heart Crate Armin: Go down to the left and through the snow tunnels. Be sure to hit the first ice skeleton from the front and the second one from behind. When you have 18 treasures, continue on off to the right and to the door. Hannah: Go up and to the right. Jump over the snowbeast and grab the two treasures. Continue on to the right. When you get to the place shown below, follow the lines in a clockwise direction.  Go back up and go down the indicated gap to meet Armin at the door.  Level complete. Level 11: Frosty Cavern Treasures: 20 Heart Crate Armin: Push the boulder off the edge, being sure to hit the flying snowball. The screenie below shows exactly when to push the boulder.  Go down and break the arrow. Push the boulder to the right until you can't push it anymore. Go off the ledge and hit the ice skeleton from the front. Go through the snow tunnel and collect the treasures. Go back out and jump over the dynamite, then break it. Wait. Hannah: Go down and past Armin. Jump on the platforms and collect all of the treasures. Go up and under the flying snowball. Wait on the ladder. Armin: Follow Hannah's path up the platforms. Go to the right of the ladder and then break the arrow that is above you. Go up the next ladder and jump over to the door. Hannah: Go down the ladder and quickly to the right. Jump up through the secret area and grab the last two treasures. Go back up and grab the bonus life to your right. Then go meet Armin at the door. The last jump can be tricky, so I have made a screenie to show you how to do the jump and survive it.  Level complete. Level 12: Hannah's Solo Climb Treasures: 10 Gem Crate Armin: Go to the door on the right. Hannah: Go down the gap on the left. Go up on the platforms and break the boxes before you hit the two arrows. You will not be able to complete the level otherwise. After you have done that, break the arrows and collect the fallen treasure. Go down the gap on the far right. Go left into the secret area and grab the gem. Go back to the right and then up the ladder, then down the next. Be careful of the flying snowball, because he turns around quickly. Go up the next ladder and fall down the gap. Go left and to the door. Level complete. Level 13: Big Trouble Treasures: 20 Heart Crate Gem Crate Hannah: Break the arrow. Armin: Go to the left and up the giant ladder all the way to the top. Collect the treasures there. Go down to the ledge. Hit the skeleton from the front then go down against the right wall. Be careful of the flying snowball, because he always seems to be right there when I land. Grab the bonus life and break the arrow. Once the arrow comes back down, follow the right wall again and into the secret area to grab the gem. Fall down to the very bottom and go back up the ladder. When you get to the indicated spot, fall off to the right and grab the final treasures. Meet Hannah at the door. *Note: the green dot is where you start, and the blue dot is where you end.  Level complete. Level 14: Fireworks Treasures: 20 I hate this level. You need to be very careful about the spikes. Armin: Go to the right and break the dynamite as you go. Be sure to land on the VERY edge of each new island. Then tap the right arrow key ONCE to move on. Then jump over the spikes. Go down the ladder. Remember the information about the skeletons from earlier. You will need it in this level. Kill the guards and break the dynamite. Wait after you hit two crates. Now bring Hannah down and break the arrow. Have Armin continue on to the left, and be sure to collect all of the treasures as you go along. When you get to the bottom of the ladder, you should have 17 treasures. Grab the 18th one and head off to the right. Repeat what you did in the beginning of this level. Crush the skeleton and go to the door. Bring Hannah there as well. Level complete. Level 15: Gunther's Revenge Treasures: 20 Gem Crate Hannah: Go down the gap on the right, but quickly go into the secret area inside the left wall. Work your way around until you are on top of some boulders. Break the arrow and fall down. Hit the dynamite crate, and go left through the water. Hit the arrow and then go up the ladder. Ignore the first arrow and hit the second one to the left (which is farthest to the right). Now go back and hit the first arrow. Go to the right and up the ladder. Go into the secret area on the right wall halfway up the ladder and grab the gem. Go up the ladder the rest of the way. DO NOT BREAK ANY ARROW CRATES. Go up the platforms and grab the three treasures on the left. Go back down and crawl to the left. Wait halfway through. Armin: Retrace Hannah's steps throughout the cave. Be sure that you know that Armin cannot swim. Jump over all of the gaps where there is water. When you get to the room with four arrows, break the one indicated below.  Go up and over the boulders and clear a path for you and Hannah to get to the door. Level complete. Level 16: Splish Splash Treasures: 20 Gem Crate Armin: Back away from the dynamite. Hannah: Go to the right and go onto one of the platforms. Wait for the water level to rise a little bit, then go down into the water. There is a secret area at the bottom right. Go into it, up, and break the arrow. Have Armin go get the gem and wait at the door. Now grab the rest of the treasures and go to the door with Armin. Level complete. Level 17: Stairs of Death Treasures: 10 Heart Crate Hannah: Go on the platforms grabbing treasures as you go. When you get to the part with four boulders, push two down. Follow them and make it so there is one boulder on each side of the dynamite. Now go to the right and break the arrow. Move quickly. Have Armin go to the door and hit the arrow above him. Now go back to the spot with the dynamite and boulders. The bonus life is there now. Grab it and go back to the right and up. Grab all the treasures on top and meet Armin at the door. Level complete. Level 18: Icy Skeletal Hordes Treasures: 20 Armin: Crush the two skeletons. Grab the treasures that are on both of their walking spaces. Now FALL of the right edge of the bottom island and go up the ladder. Have Hannah go down and grab the treasures in the water. Hit the arrow at the top and the path will now be clear for Hannah. Now go up and to the right. Fall of the ledge that has a snow tunnel below it. Go through and continue on to the right. Crush the skeletons and wait at the door. Hannah: Go down the ladder that Armin had up. When you are into the water, go right. Ignore the arrow for now. Keep going into the next little pond. Now go up above the arrow and break the left facing arrow. Now go back down and break the first arrow. Treasures will fall. Go up all the way and fall of the edge to meet Armin at the door. Level complete. Level 19: Zig Zag Treasures: 50 Gem Crate Heart Crate Hannah: Go down and collect all of the treasures. First go left. Grab all the treasures down there then continue right along the bottom. Grab all the treasures there then go up the farthest gap on the right, just to the left of the ladder. grab the treasures then go into the secret area that is in the bottom right corner. Grab the bonus life then go back out. Go up and grab as many treasures as you like, then turn around and go up the next gap. Repeat the process, then go up the ladder on the far left. Grab the treasures as you go up. Go down once you get to the top and grab all the treasures that you didn't get to earlier. Then go all the back down then up again. Go off to the left and grab all the rest of the treasures. Use Armin to clear a path to the door for Hannah. To get the gem, follow the instructions below. Then meet Armin at the door.  Level complete. Level 20: Dig It! Treasures: 20 Hannah: Go up the ladder. Wait until the snowbeast is in a certain position to break the arrow.  Now go down where he was and grab the treasure. Now go back up and continue on up the ladder. Hit that arrow. Go to the right and go down any ladder but the one on the far right. Grab the treasures then go back up. Now go down the far right one and wait at the door. Armin: Go through the snow tunnels. When you get to the place where the snowbeast was, go to the right and up the ladder. Now go down the ladder on the far right and meet Hannah at the door. Level 21: Icy Islands Treasures: 20 Gem Crate Go down the islands on the right. Wait in the secret area with the gem (you can see it in the wall). Armin: Go down the left column of islands. Crush the guards and go to the right. Go down. At the bottom, hit the second arrow then the first. Go to the door. Lead Hannah there as well. Level complete. Level 22: Hannah on the Rocks Treasures: 10 Hannah: Go down to the right. Hit the arrow, but be sure not to hit the flying snowball. Go up and to the left. There is a secret area in the wall in the top left corner. Wait inside there. Armin: Go down and to the left. Crush the skeletons and break all arrows. Go as far as you can to the left. Go up the ladder, crush the skeleton and then go up the next ladder. Hit the arrows, but watch out. Grab all of the treasures and go to the door. Now Hannah can go down and follow Armin's path. Level complete. Level 23: Arrowned Treasures: 20 Gem Crate Hannah: Go to the right staying on top of the cubes of land. Hit the arrow, then hit the next one. Go down and get the treasure. Go back up on the cubes and break all of the arrows and boxes. Be sure to get the treasure in the air before you go over the gap. Use the box to juice your jump. Go up and grab the two treasures. Go up the ladder all the way. Go up on the platform and go as far left as possible being as high as possible. Break the arrows. Go down the ladder, left, and back up. You will need to do some difficult jumps on the right. Hold down the right arrow key while you jump, and you will not lose a life. Go right and over to the door. Have Armin follow this path, but where the flying snowball is, have him go left on the bottom row. Break all arrows. *Note: I am not quite sure how to get the gem. It is above the door. Level complete. Level 24: Sunken Treasures Treasures: 50 Hannah: Not much to say about this level. Just grab all the treasures and go to the door. There is a ladder to your right. Level complete. Level 25: Armin's Task Treasures: 20 Heart Crate Gem Crate Hannah: Hold the down arrow key against the keyboard so you are in a crawling position. Now switch to Armin. Hannah should be in a crouching position. Armin: Go to the left. Crush the skeleton and grab the treasures. Go to the right. Go up the first ladder and go along the column to the left. Grab the prizes at the end of the tunnel then repeat this process for the next column. Go up the next ladder to the door. Lead Hannah there as well. Be sure that the flying snowball is not above Hannah when you switch to her. Repeat what you did at the beginning of this level. Level complete. Level 26: ***Free Fall Treasures: 40 Hannah and Armin: Have one character go down the pits while the other is on the ladder directing the other. This takes a while, but it is worth it. You get over 20,000 points for beating this level. I have never lost a life on it before. Level complete. Level 27: ***Winter Wonderland Treasures: 20 Hannah: Collect most of the treasures and use Armin for the last couple. Go to the door. Be sure to do the crouching technique that you did in Armin's Task when Hannah is waiting at the door. Level complete. Level 28: ***Avalanche! Treasures: 10 Armin: Have Hannah wait on the ladder. Have Armin go through the snow tunnels, breaking all arrows as you go. Go down the last ladder, and DO NOT BREAK THE ARROW. Wait. Hannah: Go up the ladder and to the right. Be careful of the flying snowballs as you go. Where there are two treasures, you go through and past them. When you get to the top right corner, you have to do a very hard fall. First, fall onto the treasure. As soon as you have it, go to the left wall. Grab the next treasure, then go back to the right wall. Now Armin can break the arrow. Continue right on the top. Break all the arrows and go to the door. Have Hannah go on the bottom and to the door. Be very careful of the spikes at the very end. They have got me before. Level complete. Level 29: ***Jump Treasures: 20 Hannah: Grab the treasures above you. Jump over all the spikes while pushing boulders in. Make sure that you leave two sets of spikes between the boulders and terrain. Push all extras off the edge. When you cannot go any futher, fall down, and straight. If you move you will land on dynamite. Jump over the dynamite to the right and back up the ladder. Repeat what you did at the beginning of the level. When you get to the end, jump into the secret area in the wall. Go down and left. Push the boulder and grab the treasure. Go back in the secret area and wait. Now have Armin come. He doesn't go in the secret area, he just falls. The path should be clear. Go meet with Hannah in the secret area. Now have Hannah break all the dynamite and arrows, and have Armin grab the treasures. Go to the door. Level complete. Level 30: ***Muahaha Treasures: 100 Hannah: Go to the right. Break the first five arrows. Go past the sixth and break the seventh. Now go down where the boulders fell and go left through the secret area to the door. Armin: Go down the secret area and past Hannah. Go up the ladder and grab the rest of the treasures. Go back down to meet Hannah at the door. *Note: This is a good time to use all restart lives. You can get over 6,000 points. Level/Game complete. Congratulations on completing the game! Hopefully you have a high enough score to get a trophy for the game.
