Adoptable Pets

Click on a pet to be taken to its reference page and learn more about it, including: stats, a little about the name, and pet personality. Once you've decided which pet you would like to adopt, click on the username displayed below its picture to contact the foster that is taking care of that particular pet.

These accounts have used their "Transfer Pet" option for this month. If you are adopting a painted pet with clothes from these accounts,you will have to wait until next month if you want the clothes to come with the pet. =D Please see the new Pound FAQ for more details!

Okay, now that you have seen my pets, it's time you learned how to adopt one for your self!
Just who are you adopting from???

Well to start us off, my name is Telepindil which means Silver Flower in Quenya dialect of Elvish. I really liked the idea of adopting poor abandoned pets and then finding them nice homes. My mom did not, however, find a guild that she liked that did such a thing, so we decided to start an adoption center on my page. Why you ask did we not start a guild. Well because this way we would not have to divide the donations between the pets and the people, so we thought we'd just try it this way. Then my mom's friend spacefaerieking, really wanted to help too, so you can also find pets on his page, & drop off any donations there too. =D There are a few simple rules to try and ease these poor pet's suffering.


Adoption Rules:

  1. First of all the Neopets rules! There are new proceedures associated with the pound, click the plushie to learn all about the new pound.
    Because of these, all customization items that are not related to a Paint Brush will be removed prior to pounding & given to the new owner to re-attach (or sell) as they see fit. This is so I don't waste my ONE transfer per account per month. If my transfer for that account is used for that month, and you choose a painted pet, to get the clothes associated with that pet you will have to wait til the next month.
  2. Neopets has rules about accounts under 4 months adopting certain pets, to learn more about this click this button

  3. This is a free service provided for the pets. I always appreciate donations, but I will not charge you to adopt a pet.
  4. There is no limit to how many pets you can adopt, I don't care if you want to get all 20 (5 accounts X 4 pets apiece)
    of your pets from me, that's fine, I only ask that you take good care of them.
  5. Pet availability is up to me. That's final, so please don't whine at me. I've made my decision, and you will only irritate me.
    That said, it will usually run on a first come basis. But if you have gotten your last 4 pets from me, and I have someone who has yet to adopt, then I may give the pet to them. This doesn't mean you can't have a different one though.
  6. I do not care what you do to this pet once it is adopted, if you want to change it's color, zap it, change the PetPet's name, change the PetPet, or change the description that is up to you, just take good care of them!
  7. If you are adopting just so you can get the petpet, or adoption welcome gift and then plan to re-pound, I will find out, and you
    will not be able to adopt from me again. Your name will also go on this page so that all agencies connected with me know who you are, and can turn you down as well.
  8. I also reserve the right to not allow you to adopt a pet I have previously said you could. This is only in extreme cases, such as I notice you are adopting avatar pets & re-pounding, creating avatar pets & pounding, intent to pound your own pets in order to adopt a "cooler" pet from me, not logging in for months at a time. And other such SERIOUS offenses.

Avatar Pets
Avatar pets have a couple more rules.
  1. I WILL NOT LEND THESE PETS, they have already been abandoned once, I am trying to find them homes, not pass them around like unwanted jellies.
  2. Once you adopt an avatar pet you may lend it out as you see fit, We here, & TNT prefer you don't, these are your pets after all, not just objects, however if you must... but you are expected to keep it, not just get the avatar and re-pound it. If you do, I will find out, and the same penalties apply as do to a regular pet.

Well I think that's enough of the rules, on to process!
  1. Send a Neo-Mail to the account listed below each pet, each of my adoption helpers have different criteria to adopt, for example, I would just like a short explanation of why you would like this pet. Arya (ln3) really likes Role-Playing examples and Artwork, we can't require this, but it will get you brownie points. Space (spacefaerieking) is even more relaxed than I, needing just that you wish to adopt one of his pets.
  2. Please be considerate, ONLY the pets listed here are up for adoption, don't ask any of the owners if you can adopt one of their personal pets. And this agency does NOT trade pets.
  3. Please wait for a reply. I will let you know if you can adopt that pet or not.
  4. Pestering me will not help. If you can, I will tell you, if someone else got there first I will also tell you, but I am not on 24/7.
  5. Once you are told the pet is yours, you need to set up a time for the transfer, once again I am not on 24/7 so it may be a couple days before we can work something out.
  6. Once you have adopted the pet, you are eligible for one of my adoption gifts, to pick this up simply chose one item from the catagories below & I will place them in a trade on my main adoption account Elvish_Ringbearer for you to pick up.
  7. Enjoy playing with your new pet!
Hold everything! Did I hear something about a gift???

Yes adoption gift. This is a little thank you for resucing a pet.
It includes one of these potions,

a weapon, a toy, and one item worth around 500 NP
which is to help defray the adoption fee the pound charges.

All pets will be zapped with the Lab Ray for free, just as soon as I get one.
And ALL pets come with a PetPet.

To receive this thank you all you have to do is adopt a pet,
and then bid 1 Trash/Junk item on the lot of your choice.


Now for the part no one wants to think about, but the part that makes this wonderful center run, yes I'm talking about DONATIONS!!! =)
    Donations are always appreciated! You can do this by giving the item to my main account Elvish_Ringbearer, just please send me a Neo-Mail stating it is a donation and not a gift to me , or by placing them on the adoption gift lots when you adopt a pet.
    Everything you donate will go to the pets.
  • Paint Brushes, Morphing Potions, Transmorgification Potions, and Magical Plushies will be used to make the pets more adoptable.
  • Codestones, Dubloons, Faeries, and Books will go toward Training, Leveling, and Educating the pets.
  • NP will go toward more adoptions, food for these pets while in my care, adoption gifts, Codestones, Paint Brushes, Faeries, Books, Toys, Potions, and a Secret Lap Map.
  • Secret Lap Map pieces will be placed on my adoption accounts so I can zap the pets to make them more adoptable. Once I have a complete set on each of the accounts, I will begin selling off new ones to pay for the above mentioned items.
  • Food and Toys will go toward feeding the pets, and Adoption gifts.

    If you donate your username, if you like, will be posted on this page for all to see. :)

    Once again however, this is a FREE service and while your Generous donations are ALWAYS appreciated they are not a requirement to adopt a pet.

Here are the owners (and any side accounts I have tracked down) that have adopted from us that have re-pounded their precious pets, and lest you fear you can never give up your pet (which you shouldn't) because you might be listed here, these owners have re-pounded with-in less than 60 days of adoption. I'm also listing owners who promised to adopt out pets, but never had any intention of doing so, allowing their fellow Neopians to pour heart and soul into applications, without even a chance. So please, if you do not want your name here
