Talons Petpage Your walking in a field, visiting a nearby stable when you hear a call of a stallion. The trainers tell you to stay away from the studd being as how he is an 17.3hh clydesdale stallion. You ignore it & continue along the brownish fence, suddenly, you hear heavy hoofbeats pound the earth, you turn to see the stallion bearing straight at you, his ears pinned back & his eyes narrowed. Frightened you jump the fence & land on your hind end, the stallion stops right in front of you, dust flying from his hooves as he rears, snorts and comes down with a thud. He stares at you idly, as you slowly stand up. He's quite huge & you find yourself amazed by him. The stallion backs up as you stare. He snorts & stays at a stand still..."I'm sure you've come here to tresspass, but instead, I will tell you my story..*you nod & listen hoheartily* Talons Story
I was born in a valley not to far from here. Unlike most uni's around here, I was born in captivity. My father is the great Gypsy Vanner King, my mother a soft gentle soul. She was not used for riding, but pulling a cart, though she was quite daynti for a clydesdale mare. My mother was bred to The gypsy because my owner loved him, he said he always was fascinated with him & with his movements. My mother was 5 when she had me. I was born on September 5th, they say I was a fast learner. I lived my life carefree & wild. No one was bigger than me so therefore I got respect. I was quite lucky when it came to the ladies. All of them loved my muscular build & to my happiness, I had many friends. My mother & I were very close. I never liked anything or anyone near her. The trainers & I had an understanding though. My mother & I would always graze in the fields, play tag, or just run. When I reached yearling age, my mother was sold, my owner hated to do it, but he had to do it. We were running low on money & I was trained when I became the age of 2, it was tough for Souls & me, I didn't like the saddle on my back, or the bridle & bit in my mouth, but he did it quite well & was easy on me! I was the lead stallion of the stables, the toughest, the most built, & of course, most feared. I grew tall over the years & became more mature. I wasn't a colt anymore but felt like it inside. The years passed it seemed way to fast. Not one day went by that I didn't think of my mother. I wondered how she was & what she was doing. If I had siblings or if she found someone to l0ve her. Well, I was introduced into western show after we had practised for a year. Souls said I would do great, guess he could see I was nervous, he was right, I won a huge 1st place trophy my first show & so on from there many more awards. Now I stay at the stables, as lead stallion & the most prefered horse in pretty much everything. The kids love me, heh, I think its just cuz I am so gentle. I love my life there, & theres lots of area to roam & graze, but that is my story, not to interesting, but I have had the better one I can say..but I must go now...hope this fills your wonder...
