Aloha! My name is Tajalle. I was born on Mystery Island as a Blue Kougra. My owner took a long time picking out just the right look for me, but it paid off. I look absolutely smashing painted Lost Desert. ;)

My passion is for gardening and landscaping. I've read all kinds of books on the subject, and have put what I've learned into designing and creating all the gardens for our neohome . I even have a wonderful greenhouse my owner built for me to work out of.

Here are a few of my favorite things I've collected (including plants)...

My owner is Kai Bryon, Guardian in Guild Net Paladins. You can find out more about her here...kaibryon. You can also visit a little bit of...whatever to see if Kai has anything for sale or A Pride of Noils to see her Noil collection.

Neohome Tour

Welcome to our home. This home is really a place for the pets and they dictate what goes into the space. While we have utilitarian rooms (bedrooms, kitchen, etc.) most of the home is comprised of rooms for the pets to play in, and they run the gambit from a traditional pool to the more fanciful castle. And since the pets decide what goes into the home that is why you will find a pirate ship, but no art gallery...a train, but no hallways or stairwells. I hope you enjoy the tour!

Thank you to all the neohomies that have inspired and encouraged me. A special thank you to Netjeru for the wonderful visual tour component.

Oddities (g.0.0): Tucked away behind the Kitchen is a garden where my little ones put the strangest plants they can find. Not entirely sure why they are drawn to the unusual...

Boys Bathroom (g.0.1): The boys of the house said they didn't really care about what went in the bathroom, until the decorating actually got under way. Odallis needed to have snow fixtures, but none of the other pets were interested in using them (brrr...), so we had to have a separate bathtub and shower, sinks and what not so everyone could be accommodated. My little artist, Igoodala, created the mosaic center of the room.

Stable (g.0.2): Ole Kai Bryon had a farm, E-I-E-I-O. And on that farm she had some Snorkles, E-I-E-I-O. With an oink, oink here, and an oink, oink there, here an oink, there an oink, everywhere an oink, oink. Ole Kai Bryon had a farm, E-I-E-I-O.

Sweet Treat - Liliaceae's Room (g.0.3) We decided to use Lili's love of cooking as our inspiration for her bedroom. Doesn't it look yummy in here?

Shenkuu Zen Garden (g.0.4): Both Amphyr and Zurriel have an deep appreciation of Shenkuu design and wanted a garden space that was uncluttered, elegant and relaxing.

Kitchen and Dining Area (g.1.0): This cozy little area of the home is used quite frequently. There is lots of storage and cabinet space, and the pets just love the food themed furniture.

Autumn Leaves (g.1.1): All the pets agreed that Autumn was such a beautiful time of year in Neopia that we should have a garden that reflected its beauty all year. Personally I think they just like jumping in the piles of leaves.

Fruit and Veggie Garden (g.1.2): All the pets delight in the fact they can have fresh berries and such whenever they like.

Playground (g.1.3): This is the play area that the pets share with the petpets of the house. The play area is bright and colorful, with lots of space to run around and fun things to play with.

All Grown Up - Isamoa's Room (g.1.4): Isamoa spent time as a Baby Jubjub, but we're now growing up his bedroom. He started off with a basic colors theme, but now we're going with a Plushie/Purple/Yellow color scheme (he is still a kid after all).

Ice Skating Rink (g.2.0): While all the pets were on board for the swimming pool, it took some convincing from Odallis to get everyone on board for an ice skating rink. It makes him so happy to have one though, and all the pets know how to ice skate now.

Winter Wonderland (g.2.1): This is Odallis' own little Winter Wonderland of a garden. Another little place to ice skate and lots of snow make this such a wonderful seasonal garden. We even added a little mountain pass to remind him of Happy Valley.

Central Park (g.2.2): The Central Garden features an array of standard Neopian flora in colors of purple, green and yellow.

Tajalle's Tropical Paradise (g.2.3): Tajalle is our resident gardener and loves flowers. She designed all the gardens in the home, including her own, right outside her room, with the most tropical looking plants she could find.

Pool (g.2.4): All the pets agreed they wanted a place to swim and play in the water all year round, so an indoor pool was a must. Again there is a tropical feel to this area and it is a great place to relax. They decided to add the spa in the corner for those times when a good hot soak is in order. A bigger area for lounging is just up the stairs.

Kai's Favorites (g.3.0): I place for me to put all the plants/flowers/etc. that I love the most...a place of honor for my Bronze Noil Fountain, of course.

Brrr... Odallis' Room (g.3.1): To Odallis everyday is like Christmas and it shows in his decorating. Lots of Christmas and Snow items. He also is quite a fan of Taelia, the Snow Faerie. And of course when Odallis' petpet Blitzen saw all the Raindorf petpet things he was just over the moon, so we had to add those things as well.

Starry Living Room (g.3.2): All the pets decided on a starry theme for the entry and living room of their home, so we've decorated it with lots of Kauvara, Nova and Altador items...the effect is quite cheerful I think.

Island Paradise - Tajalle's Room (g.3.3): This tropical themed room is the home within a home to my first pet, Tajalle. Tajalle grew up on Mystery Island, so wanted to reflect that in her space. We decorated her room largely with Bamboo and Coconut items. To reflect her Lost Desert paint job we've added a desert lounge upstairs.

Love is in the Air (g.3.4): A little spot of romance in the home. The pets aren't really at the age to appreciate romance, but they like the way it looks...so here it is.

Kai's Fuzzle Nova Retreat (g.4.0): Every now and then I need some time to myself, but still close to the pets, so I created this room for myself. I was deciding on a theme when TNT came out with all that wonderful Nova furniture...decision made. Its the obvious place for my Noil neohome items as well.

Serenity (g.4.1): A work in progress at the moment this is just a quiet space for contemplation and reflection.

Welcome Neohome (g.4.2): You can get an idea from the walk up to the front door what kind of pets regularly inhabit this neohome. The hope is that the feeling of "welcome" will also be conveyed.

Pirate's Cove (g.4.3): It seems that all my pets love to fish. Who knew?! So the pets obviously need someplace to hone their skills. They gave it a pirate theme to add flair.

Greenhouse (g.4.4): Tajalle, the gardener in our neofamily, has so much work to do on the grounds that we built her an indoor/outdoor space for her gardening preparations and plant growing.

The Seven Seas (1.0.1): When the Curse of Maraqua plot was going on, all the pets clamored for someplace where they could play pirates, so we designed this play room for them to do just that. In addition to the pirate ship, we threw in the island with buried treasure and the coral reef.

Tree Fort (1.0.2): Using their powerful imaginations my pets and their petpets can spend hours on end up here pretending to be camping out in the wilds of Neopia.

Desert Oasis Lounge (1.0.3): After undergoing a Lost Desert make over, Tajalle wanted a room that looked plucked from the desert sands. Here she can imagine she is looking out over a river delta with the gentle sound of water bubbling up out of the sand.

Neopia 500 (Go Kart Track) (1.1.0): The pets recently got Go Karts and just had to have an indoor track to race on. It turned out quite nice...even a little spot to watch from in the middle and have a picnic.

Merry Go Round (and Around) (1.1.1): We paid so many visits to the Merry Go Round on Roo Island that it was only a matter of time before the pets started asking for one in the home.

Jubjub Lake (1.1.2): Another indoor/outdoor space for the pets to enjoy, this little lake is stocked with plenty of fish and is a bastion of serenity and calm in the neohome. The name 'Kiko Lake' was obviously unacceptable...

Twinkle Twinkle - Amphyr's Room (1.1.4): Amphyr is fascinated by potion brewing and chemistry so the theme of his room was Kauvara and Kayla, Neopia's preeminent potion brewers. The bright blue and yellow combination takes some getting used to, but it really is quite lovely. A small lab was also a necessity in his room, though a full scale lab is upstairs.

Bryon Memorial Park Playground (1.2.0): With as many places to play as we have in our home, it was natural for us to introduce a traditional park playground. The pets insisted that we have all the necessities...slides, swings, a sandbox, a merry-go-round, tetter-totter, hop-scotch and a place to climb around.

The Polar Express (1.2.1): Over the holidays the pets and I watched the movie The Polar Express and before it even finished the pets were pleading for a train of their own, just like in the movie, so we went all out and they absolutely love this play room.

Orient Express Tea Room (1.2.3): Not a traditional play room, but the pets decided that they need a room with an Shenkuu feel to it for their imaginative purposes.

Tiki Hut Pool Lounge (1.2.4): Just a quick few steps upstairs from the pool, the pets have their own tiki hut juice bar, tropical oasis and generally a fun place to hang out in between dips in the pool.

Castle of Fun (1.3.0): Yet another playroom for the pets, this one styled after a medieval castle. The pets can defend from the castle ramparts, pour over battle plans and peace treaties, or lord over the place from the throne.

Girls Beachy Bathroom and Tropical Flower Lounge (1.3.2): The girls in the neofamily, although fewer than the boys needed their own bathroom. We combined it with a garden of tropical flowers that make a perfect siting room.

Petpet Playroom (1.3.3): My pets set up this room for their petpets and visiting petpets to play. It's probably the busiest and messiest room in the house, though its fairly clean at the moment. My pets really spoil their little ones...

Tres Femme - Ayan's Room (1.3.4): Ayanbadejo is a girl with a capital 'G', so when it came time to create her bedroom she had some requirements...pink, purple, a place for her to play dress up, more pink, more purple, an area for her to pamper herself, even more pink, even more purple, and flowers. Done!

Home Theater (1.4.1): The pets wanted a place to watch tv and movies, so I went for the gusto. In warm tones of red and brown this room is perfect for kicking back and relaxing. Figured I'd add a place for the pets to play video games while I was at it.

Library (1.4.2): While Isamoa is the most voracious reader among the pets, reading is encouraged and enjoyed by all the pets. Before each of them started clamoring for bookshelves in their own rooms, I built them a library/study for their reading enjoyment. There is even a place for the pets to play on the computer...supervised, of course.

Artist at Work - Igoodala's Room (1.4.3): Igoodala is the artist extrodinare of our neofamily, so his bedroom doubles as his art studio. Painting, sculpture, mosaics...my little Chomby wants to do it all...we're currently taking classes at the Brightvale Glaziers to learn more about creating stained glass windows.

Guest Room (2.0.0): A room for the many visitors to the home who end up spending the night, tucked away on the top floor. The pets felt that green would be soothing and comforting, and what goes better with green than a wrought iron bed with a burgandy coverlet? Exactly...

Amphyr's Laboratory (2.0.1): Not satisfied with the small laboratory in his bedroom, Amphyr requested (and obviously received) an expanded laboratory for his scientific research. In addition to his great love of chemistry, he has also taken up astronomy.

Lunar Courtyard - Zurriel's Room (2.0.3): I've wanted to do a Lunar New Year themed courtyard for quite some time, but what I needed was a bedroom for Zurriel, so the two purposes merged. Interesting effect...

All My Pets are Space Cadets (2.0.4): One of my friend Ava's pets has a space ship themed room, and so my pets want a space ship themed play room of their own. And now with the space themed plot they're insistant. How will I get them out of the house now?! ...um...I mean...

Balcony (2.1.0): Not much to say here, but I imagine that the concept of a balcony is easy enough to understand...

Cozy Up - Korvallis' Bedroom (2.1.2) Originally Korvallis had a barnyard themed room downstairs (as she began life as a Kau), but once she ended up as a Christmas Kougra she needed new digs. It was a challenge to make her room Christmassy without it ending up looking like her brother Odallis' room, but I think we've come up with something unique.

Braedysss' Room (2.1.4): Braedysss is a strong believer in the power of the 4 elements, thus Air, Earth, Fire and Water play a big role in the design of his room.

Girls Playroom (2.2.1): My girl neopets have been campaigning for a uniquely feminine play space where they could have a doll house (a rather large doll house as it turns out) and hold tea parties. It seemed like a fairly simple request at the time...

Jungle Ruins (2.2.2): Despite the fact that I clearly remember wrapping up the design and construction of the Space and Girls playrooms rather recently, all the pets agreed that we were due for another play space and thought a jungle would be nice. We all agreed adding in some crumbling ruins was a good idea too. Tajalle was particularly thrilled with the project as she could use her gardening skills to really make the space feel really overgrown and authentic.

WhyAskWhy's Room (2.2.3): I had thought that WhyAskWhy would want sort of a serene theme to his room, being painted Cloud and all, but he is still a Poogle, so bright colors and toys were the order of the day.

Haunted Woods Plot Reenactment (g.2.0): All the pets wanted a play area where they could relive their favorite parts of the Haunted Woods Plot. There are different areas for grave digging, marking names off, identifying bones and mixing components...all around a cheerful place.

Haunted... (g.3.0): The perfect accompaniment to a Hanuted Woods themed room is of course a haunted garden entry.

Beach Blanket Bingo (g.3.1): A day at the beach sounded like a good idea to everyone.

Down by the River (g.4.0): A peaceful retreat for all of the pets, but especially Ayanbadejo who was born near a river on Lutari Island and loves the sound of the water burbling over the rocks.

Where Are My Bottles? (g.4.1): Maybe a tad bit morbid a title for such a lovely garden, but it was funny at the time and I'm sticking with it. This faerie themed garden is a particular favorite of the girls in the neofamily.

Liliaceae's Gourmet Kitchen (g.4.2): The chef of our neofamily, Liliaceae, was insistent that she have her own professional kitchen to create in (much as an artist would have their own studio). The pink and yellow theme was her idea too.

Apple Lantern Formal Dining (g.4.3): I really thought I was off the hook for having to create a formal dining room in the home since the pets seemed more interested in playrooms, but then Lili, my little chef, piped up and said, "If we had a formal dining room then I could throw dinner parties and share all my successful creations!" All the other pets thought this was a wonderful idea (of course). The theme was my idea though...I love Apple Lanterns.

If You Want to View Paradise... (g.4.4): The idea and garden name are from the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, from that room where everything is edible. A river of chocolate is needed, but the pond will have to do for now.
