Getting Lost?
You find yourself walking through the jungles of mystery island. You were originally going to check out the lost city of Geraptiku but instead had gotten yourself lost, the air is thick and muggy and the trees which were orignally palms were now funny shapes, from twisted straw trees to giant bulbed bushes.
A rustle comes from the branches above, you look up and see a Tuceet staring down at you.. You seem close to the Lost city, but all you can see is a dense mass of trees ahead. As you stumble along you begin to hear a humming of a tune, you decide to head towards the humming. Busting through the branches you come face to face with what... well.. looks like a peophin.. sort of.. or is it a sea creature? Your not quite sure what you see.. Infact, it looks like a giant puddle of colours before you..
The creature looks just as stunned to see you and his expression is obvious he wasnt expecting to be charged in on..
"uhh hi?" the creature says, its eyes dont take a second to look away from yours. "h..hi" you stammer as you upright yourself, brushing the twigs and leaves embedded in your clothes.
The creature shifts its tail carefully, trying not to startle you and then sits more upright to get a better view of the situation. "I am Tahquis, a rainbow peophin.. well i dont really look like a rainbow because.. well thats a long story..." he looks away from your eyes shyly and stares at the ground silently.
"I am guest" you say gently to Tahquis, his eyes rise back to yours and he smiles, then lowers his head in a greeting manner "very nice to meet you guest" he rises his head and then glances around you, his eyebrows shift slightly "are you lost?" he asks. You not Dumbly and his grins and ushers you to take a seat.
"Many get lost here when looking for the lost city, its not uncommon. What is uncommon is getting lost and ending up on the other side of the island" he winks at you and smiles, "you must be tired walking that far, you must have been really determined to walk this far and not notice your in the Tropical forest where Gadgadsbogen is celebrated" You look around properly for the first time and give a groan as you slap your forehead..
"I guess you should take a rest to gain your energy back before heading off" Tahquis states. "Here, have a Blobbule, theyre very refreshing" Tahquis leans over and pulls of a funny looking giant blue fruit and hands it to you, it wobbles as it plops in your hands, like a water baloon ready to pop. "just bite off one of the stems and then drink, its a thin skinned fruit which holds water inside of it." You do as he says and bite off a stem and then drink from the fruit, the juice is sweet yet very watery and refreshing.
Tahquis shuffles gently to make himself more comfortable and turns to you "Do you know much about Gadgadsbogen guest?" you think for a moment and mumble "Its a celebration day in neopia?" Tahquis chuckles gently "well yes.. and no... Gadgadsbogen is a festival day for the new fruits that blossom on mystery island, the word Gadgadsbogen actually translates to mean 'Good good day', Llugh was the one who was responsible for this day, he ate many tropical fruits and spread their seeds on the fertile mystery island soils, magically the seeds he spread change into new fruits which are nothing to do with the original fruit and blossom to reveal a new special fruit for us to enjoy, or avoid..
Tahquis gives you a concerned look, giving out a sigh as he turns his head away to look at the plants around him. "what?" you ask, eager to know what bothers him. He turns back at you his lovely aqua eyes meeting yours. "you know nothing about the fruits of mystery Island do you guest?" he asks.
You shake your head slowly, it had never bothered you before to even consider knowing much about them. Tahquis shakes his head again and looks at you seriously "then you are lucky you even found me, on your own you may not even survive the night. Not all fruits here are good, and unless you know about the fruits on mystery island, you would surely not last the night!"
You gulp nervously as you realise how serious it mightve become if you hadnt found Tahquis.
His eyes blink gently and he grins "Well as long as you are here are you willing enough to learn about the good and bads here on mystery island?" You nod graciously, afterall it would be wise to know if you ever became lost in the future.
Tahquis pulls over a backpack from his side and pulls it upside down, a bunch of fruits fall out.
"Right here I am going to show you some very important Fruits and Vegetables you can obtain here in this jungle when you are lost, be sure to listen carefully for some of these can be very imprtant and life saving"
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
We all know how important it is to stay healthy and fit while lost, you need your daily vitamins to ensure your body is capable of helping you survive the fight for survival, you also need to know some certain fruits which will help with improving your health too.

Elppa - |
| Duoroot- A member of the fruit and vegetable family, it is actually fairly sweet and has many healthy vitamins. |

Blairnut - |
| Songray - This fruit will help when you have a sore throat and feel unable to speak or even swallow. It warms your throat and can be fairly crunchy to eat. |

FOOD
Food is very important, all fruits and vegetables in neopia have vitamins, not as much as the ones listed above but these are just as important to give you the energy and fullness required so your body mass doesnt become critical from lack of food.

| Pimplepepper- A fruit which can be rather messy if you dont eat it right, just make sure you bite the red lumps in your mouth to get the really juicy sweet delicious nectar in you mouth.. if you miss, it can be rather hard to get off. |

| Blurf - It grows on a very hairy tree with orange leaves, the fruits are also very hairy and are blue, they taste much like peaches and are extremely fleshy and filling. |

WATER
The most important thing in life is water, without it, everything would perish. It is always important to know where you can get water when you are unable to find food. And it is always important to have more than 3 litres of water a day to keep your body hydrated. Your body needs water, without water you become dehydrated. Your blood pressure may rise, you will be prone to having seizures, become delirius and possibly die if your water level in your body becomes too low.

Blobbule - |
| Eitchtwoo Melon- Another common fruit which is also full of water. the skin is a little tougher but the skin is made up of solidified water, making this fruit completely refreshing. |

Transparaberry - |
| Funnydew Melon - A very thirs quenching melon, its very sweet and contains alot of water. If you are ever extremely dehydrated, eat one of these and it will refresh you instantly. |

Tahquis grins and looks at you proudly "well I have told you the basic survival fruits you need when you are lost, but did you know that you can also use these fruits for some really delicious recipes?" you shake your head.

Tahquis smiles at you and then shakes his shoulder muscles, the leathery like fin shudders slightly then flicks outwards and then lays itself along Tahquis's back, you notice that isnt the only fin on his body as you study the giant fins lining his back, the patters so bright and seem to highlight in the sunlight like a butterflies wings do. "I guess its not often you see a peophin with such unusual markings", your eyes meet with Tahquis's and you quickly look at the grass beneath you, not realising you had been staring. "Its ok, i get alot of funny looks because of my markings" Tahquis smiles back as you look up.
"I was blessed by a faerie you see, I was only young when it happened, but I had somehow proven that i was pure at heart and was given a blessing to show my uniqueness.
Not many neopets are pure.. Purity is to know no evil or hatred. Many neopets nowadays are not pure, for they have trained to fight, or even fought in wars, they have argued with their siblings, or teased a fellow neopet.. it is these simple things that can impurify you" .
I am a very friendly type of peophin, many would say I am took kind and that i cannot seem to pass anyone without helping them. Even neopian bullies find it hard to harm when because i am so nice and forgiving. I guess its a bonus. Though when you look like I do you still get teased and laughed at. I dont mind though.
I enjoy my time learning, and I love my fruits and vegetables. I was just out here enjoying the different smells of fruit and vegetables, I admit i really do love being in this part of neopia, it is like a rainforest.
I am quite fond of my family and everyone is important to me. I spend most of my time with ruriih, but i love to hang out with Couverture on his chocolate high antics. And its always fun to hear what akbarcus has to say.

Kylie adopted me from Homeswap, Homeswap had brought me up very lovingly to prepare me for my future owner, I was lucky that kylie came across me and seen me for what I was. I think of her as my true mother now and I am so glad to be with her.
Couverture is the eldest in the family, he is the heir of Culliver. While Culliver is calm and collected, Cor.. well.. I am still wondering why none of our neighbours has called the mental facility to collect him yet. He is heaps of fun to be with, but his addiction to chocolate and his hyperness can be a little overwhelming.
Ruriih was also adopted, He and I are very close, Ruriih is very shy though and usually enjoys keeping to himself and playing with his toys in his room. I join him though for a nice game in his room. He is a great fun peophin once you get to know him.
Akbarcus is not a peophin like neopians mistake him to be, he is a maraquan peophin. Quite stunning how he can soar with his wings still and yet breathe and swim underwater.. Much like the faerie peophin.
Seikayla is a faerie peophin, She is very sweet and loves marshmellows and cupcakes. I would suggest if you want to see her to dust yourself off and have a shower later, she isnt a fan of dirt and grime.
PETPET
my petpet is also part of my family so he deserves to be known as well.
Mikah is a male Barlow, he was bred on krawk island.
Mikah is an interesting petpet he is not the most intelligent of petpets, infact you could possibly mistake him for an overwheight spardel sometimes, but he isnt that brainless. He can be quite clever, but with his dribbling mouth and his love for chewing rubbery things you would possibly think otherwise. Mikah is very loveable though and really enjoys a good scratch around the ears. Just dont let him fall asleep on your lap as he dribbles alot in his sleep.
